Susan leaves the Priory
Posted by SBFII Admin on June 05, 2009

Susan has now left the Priory clinic were she was resting and has now moved into a flat in central London.

Susan's brother Gerry told GMTV: "She's much happier, she seems a lot more like herself."

susanlemon.jpg

Gerry said Susan had spoken to people who had assured her it "wasn't the end" for her singing career after finishing second on BGT.

He said: "Things are becoming clearer for her now. She's now beginning to believe that, 'yes indeed, i will be a singer'."

Fantastic news! This has been a HUGE transition for Susan to make, from anonymity to worldwide fame, from dreaming a dream to being inundated with people wanting to make that dream a reality. She's been bombarded with media attention--good, bad, and ugly--almost nonstop for two months. In the bigger picture, taking a few days to regroup and rest and get some counseling and assistance is but a blip on the radar screen.

I hope Susan knows just how much support she has backing her up!
Posted by ca0911 on June 05, 2009
Great news that she is feeling well enough to leave the clinic.............I think that is probably true since it was on BBC news. Of course, they are starting all over again."Susan COULD be invited by Demi Moore, she is in a flat in London, she is secluded somewhere in Scotland, etc, etc, etc. The press has been warned off from reporting on the state of her health but you can bet they will find another angle. I think singing on the tour will be good for her, there is no pressure of judjing...........just people loving to hear her sing. I pray she really is beginning to believe that she didn't "lose" anything and nor did she let anyone down!

Susan left the Priory yesterday and there are NO PICTRUES!!! OH BOOHOO, I'd love to see the pictures, but I'm also thrilled because that means that she now has the appropriate security to keep the scum-bag British rags AWAY from her. And now she is aware of the different ways of doing things now that she is a world-wide celebrity. All your friends/fans await further good news. YOU GO GIRL and continue to ROCK THE WORLD

@Bohemiian Spirit Hope you don't mind but I've copied your thumnail I love it, If you mind I will change it :))

Susan needs to believe and realize she's more than a singer. She is to be what history will show as the greatest new entertainer of 2009 and actually of the new millenium. Glad your free now to understand your dream has come true and the world awaits you with open arms.

From http://entertainment.stv.tv/tv/100806-susan-boyle-out-of-priory-feeling-more-like-herself-says-brother/

Gerry told us: “Simon Cowell has put together a place in London for her.” I guess Simon IS taking care of his very favorite STAR! As Susan captured all of our hearts, she may also dissolved the steel case around Simon's heart!!
Posted by Bohemian Spirit on June 05, 2009
@Kalua - No, I don't mind at all! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and all that. ;-) I'm glad you liked the icon. Some people are changing to pictures of cats, but I think I'll stick with my trusty Les Miz piccie, because that will always stand out in my mind as Susan's signature tune. Of course I want to hear her sing dozens of other songs, as well--all in good time!

I hope we get a report on Pebbles our second love and if they have been re-united. If Susan has been given a flat in London as reported you can be sure it's probably as comfortable and secure as a castle. Maybe they sent a vet to Scotland and gave Pebbles a little medicine so as not to be stressed and jetted the little furball as it slept to a new home to mark as her own. Even if the new home is temporary I'm sure both are very likely together again. We'll just have to wait and hear but I feel it's a reality.

I love the new video posted this morning that has Britney, Whitney, Paris, and Michael J. all in the same story as their #1 news that Susan has been released. Susan has surpassed everyone on the A-list to secure her rightfull place on the throne. Your subjects await your first statement you make to us as our QUEEN.
Posted by YourAwesome on June 05, 2009
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS Hope she has all her freedom without the nagging press. CAN WE SAY BODYGUARDS!!! Give her a few bury Scots as PF would say!! I'm sure pebbles is there with her to wherever she is!!

I'm glad there are no pics of her becuasse that means she made her great escape privately!!! YEAH for that one too!! She deserves peace and quiet, but at the same time I hope she knows how much she is loved too!! GREAT HAPPY NEWS!!! NOW SUSAN YOU CAN SING SUSAN SING!!!!
Posted by david on June 05, 2009
I hope when Americas got talent (which I likely won't be watching unless for some reason Susan makes and appearance) that when they as the person that is auditioning what it is they want as a result of the show and the person soys I WANT TO BE A SINGER AND A STAR AS BIG AS SUSAN BOYLE AND TO COME IN SECOND PLACE ON THIS SHOW.

For now, I'm going to post the 'semi-completed' Susaword Dictionary HERE. baharaquel has a copy without a few of these words but I still don't have a copy of what she got...it'll be a work in progress, but, it's a start.

Please check what's here and the definitions first, then if you've got any new ideas, send them to her or me by message, okay? Or better yet, to both of us? I'll put them in a 'comment' of their own.

Glad to read she is doing a lot better. I can imagine that she thought her dream fell apart. But it is far from. Good she realize it now. About her looks. I don't see anything wrong on her. She just looks like other people to me. She doesn't look like a plastic doll, like many others in the showbizz. Glad about that. It is all fake. I hope she stays like she is. Were Pavarotti,Maria Callas etc beauties?? Talent has nothing to do with looks.

It's been only a week that has passed since that gloomy Friday of last week and our feelings of anger at what was happening to Susan. Then Saturday when we all know what happened, then Sunday when we learned of the news that broke the heart of the world as we here on this site flooded the information super highway with love and compassion for our Susan and how she in no way let anyone in this world down.......then she disappears like a wonderful dream we awake from only to emerge on a glorious new day, her day, of her new life. The musical CATS was produced many years ago and I'm sure many of us saw it and know the story. Who would have ever believed that it was a version of the Susan Boyle story that wouldn't be understood until a cold April day in 2009 when she warmed the hearts of the world and reduced men to tears. Yes Susan Boyle you are the new North star and you shine bright today. You never let us down and we promise to never let you down. It took GOD 7 days to create the world and today I fully understand that what we have seen transpire in the 7 days of last Friday to this day is just another of GODS miracles. GOD has answered your prayers and it teachs us that BGT is just some talent show that a great dance team won. This divine plan is bigger than anyone can comprehend so don't try. Diversity just won a talent show nothing more and nothing less. The true winner was in fact YOU! as you won the hearts of the entire world and the granting of a dream.

How about SUSAFIX: what you are needing when you have not had contact with Susanews, Susafans or Susasongs for a while.

Hi dear Awesome, Tweek and everyone - down here in Sydney, it's cold, no rain, but somehow I feel the warmth from the wonderful news that our Susan is feeling great, best news I've heard. I'm enjoying new friends here - you all rock, but now I have to focus on my slipping deadlines, while constantly listening to Susan's "Memory" and "I Dreamed..." over and over.

By the way, I've just commented to the article of Carole at Suite101 - her article is http://psychology.suite101.com/article.cfm/susan_boyle_social_psychology_discrimination.

Here's my comment to the article:

"Brilliant and unbiased insights to the Susan Boyle enigma. Thank you, Carole.

As Susan Boyle begins her new life, it's about time we stop referring to her as "frumpy," "with learning difficulties," "Scottish spinster," and come down to our high horses. Perhaps, we should look into ourselves and we might discover our own "learning difficulties." She deserves respect, we should give her that.

Susan Boyle is perfectly normal but succumbed to a journalistic onslaught. She is a natural human being devoid of plasticity with her unusual charm and sense of humour, like when she said she has never been kissed. This was only a banter and this, too, has been taken out of proportion. This lovely lady has touched millions of people the world over and has given them new purpose to their life.

In years to come, only one thing will be remembered - that one moment on the 11th of April 2009, when our hearts were blown away by Susan Boyle's rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" - not necessarily because of her incredible voice, but because we constantly live in hope that her dream could somehow be ours."

You'll understand my friends that I have to balance my feelings and perspectives when I comment as a writer and not as a fan. ;) But I guess, it's still apparent I do care very much for her. LOL. Good night, my friends. I remain with you, and in loving Susan.

Posted by johnnycake on June 05, 2009
Old Deuteronomy has worked his magic on Grizabella. Listen to her, you'll understand what happiness is.

Will get back re other subjects, comments later.
Posted by Bohemian Spirit on June 05, 2009
Good morning, Awesome. ;-)

@Allikat - That is an amazing, Susarrific compilation. I agree with tweek, print it out in a nice font, frame it, and send it to Susan to adorn her new apartment! I'm sure it would give her a smile. And I sure hope she gets TommyUSA's DVD and letter soon, too!

To Everyone: TommyUSA said he had trouble using blogspot. Is there any interest in starting a LiveJournal community for Susan? LiveJournal combines the functions of a blog, a threaded discussion, and social networking, and most of what I do on LJ (and similar sites) is hanging out in communities. I've been on LJ since 2002, and can readily create the community, though I'd want a few others to help with moderating to keep spammage and trollery out. I do have a life outside of the Internet, strange though that may sound?

Comment or PM me with your interest, or lack thereof.

Maybe they sent a vet to Scotland and gave Pebbles a little medicine so as not to be stressed and jetted the little furball as it slept to a new home to mark as her own.

@Telscafe - Great comment on that article, especially the point about ceasing with the stupid "frumpy spinster" terminology. If we repeat our objections often enough, perhaps people will start to listen, and change their tune.

At the request of YourAwesome, I am reposting this from the tail end of the last blog, in case you missed it: Posted by tweek on June 05, 2009 WELCOME NEW FANS TO OUR WEBSITE! You have truly set down on one of the finest places in earth. And, I hope you can also share in our tears and joy. I appreciate our old group of regular commenters taking part in noting all the newbees' great comments as well. We need to make sure, we all keep this site growing for the benefit of Susan!

Hey, I do not know about the rest of you. I am far from well off lately. I spent my entire life raising my learning disabled child, who needed tutors, private school, medication, etc.,etc., costing me over 100,000 in recent years, then another $30,000 to put him thru college, now in Grad School...and I have a reoccuring infection (almost dying 4 times in less than 3 years all from a Sports Injury in figure skating at age 16) and had no insurance til I got medicare because I was uninsurable. I have hit rock bottom almost but, you know, this site is not about us...it is about the love we have for Susan and the great joy she has given us and the world.

LET ME REMIND YOU WE WOULD NOT BE ENJOYING EACH OTHERS THOUGHTS AND COMPANY IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE WONDERFUL CREATORS OF THIS WEBSITE...PAUL AND RYAN...IT COSTS MONEY TO KEEP IT UP. SOME PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED THEIR WILLINGNESS IN PRIVATE EMAILS TO ME THAT THEY WANTED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS WEBSITE OR EVEN DIRECTLY TO SUSAN.

I ASSURED THEM THAT WHEN THEY SUSAN AND HER FAMILY, IF THEY NEEDED HELP WOULD ASK FOR SOME. ASKING FOR SUPPORT OR DONATIONS FOR THE WEBSITE IS NOT OUT OF LINE, AND DO LIKE ME PUT SOMETHING AT LEAST ON THIS THRU PAYPAL...WHICH FROM WHAT I HAVE READ SHOULD BE PERFECTLY SAFE. EVERYTHING DONE ON THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN SECURE, CLOSELY MONITORED, ETC. TO PROTECT US.

NOW THERE WAS A BIG KADOO TO GET ROSES FOR SUSAN. THOSE ROSES WOULD HAVE DIED OFF SHORTLY AND POSSIBLY FOR A FEW DAYS GIVEN JOY TO SOME ELDERLY, SICK, PERSON IN THE HOSPITAL, WHICH ALSO WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A TOTAL LOSS.

BUT, I THINK THE MONEY WE COULD HAVE SPENT, CAN BE SPENT NOW ON THIS WEBSITE WHICH WE ALL SHARE.

I WILL GET OFF THE SOAP BOX AND GO BACK TO BED. DO WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART, AND THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.... LOVE YA, TWEEKIE

Great to hear that Susan has recharged the batteries after her short Subbatical.

Let’s hope we hear soon that her cat has been Pebbledashed down to London to join her.

As Subarites we can now devote ourselves again to the pleasure of listening to Susan.

For years to come learned professors will study this period in history and be proud to claim they are Doctors of Susanology - the study of making the whole world happy.

hi there SUSANitos, YOURAWESOME, you ask me yesterday where the term came from, well the idea came from the name that fans of Frida Calo- mexican artist called themselves: the Friditos ;so I though we should call ourselves Susanitos. That also mean in spanish litle susans/os, or children of Susan and I think is appropiate we as fans are here because of HER. Long live to SUSAN and the Susanito.

I can't remember, was it LonnieRose who first brought the Obama contact to our attention, or BohemianSpirit or PaulaMarie ...thank you all and/or whoever else has brought this up. We've seen rumors turn out to be Boyle-oney before. I see no reason not to assume that Susan's brother gave us the straight story and go ahead and thank President Obama for recognizing Susan and inviting her to celebrate the 4th with us. Can't do any harm. My message looks like this (and please note I make no mention of it possibly being untrue):

Thank you Mr. President for including Susan Boyle in the 4th of July celebration in Washington this year. Susan's story is a true inspiration for ordinary people in humble circumstances during difficult times, a story of loyalty, decency, and care for her aged parents at the expense of furthering her own career. It is a story of the intrinsic worth God has given each of us despite the jeers and rejection many suffer at the hands of a callous materialistic world. Your decision to welcome Susan to celebrate the creation of our diverse and welcoming culture that instinctively roots for the underdog celebrates the reason that, especially on the 4th of July, we are proud to be Americans. The place to send it once again is: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Reposting my comment from the previous blog, in response to tweek's comment reposted from the previous blog. ;-)

Hey, tweek, on the chance you come back to this thread to check comments, I just want to say that you're right on about the money thing. I thought the same thing, that we didn't hesitate to be willing to put out cash for roses, so helping to pay for the web site that WE ALL ARE USING and benefiting from shouldn't be any more of a problem. And it's all voluntary, according to our willingness and means.

So, thanks for saying that. Get well rested!

First thing to say is of course what happy news it is to know Susan is out of the clinic. If Pebbles didn't visit because it was realized he wouldn't travel well, that is legit, most cats don't. But if it was just some stupid rule they wouldn't even bend, that is appalling. As to the nature of cats, being a cat person all my 71 years, I can attest that feel love and loyalty to their person or persons, that they do miss their persons when separated, and having someone come to feed them and even give some attention doesn't fix it.
Posted by amysole on June 05, 2009
ALLIKAT, the dictionary is looking really good and great idea. Maybe we should copywrite it. When before in history a singer has her own dictionary, many have biographies but dictionaries none. So you see Susan is UNIQUE, as a singer and in many other ways.

When the new banner is posted I hope that it includes what is obvious......That this is the #1 INTERNATIONAL fan site of Susan Boyle. We are after all representing all of our countries as we express our continued love, support and anticipation of everything Susan Boyle. Maybe next to our thumbnail post on this blog we can find a way to include our countries flag by clicking on a world map or something. Just a little something to continue to add to the beauty of the site as it continues to be enchanced.

If coming in second was a source of some of Susan's worry, that is just one more reason to be enraged over the fact that she was cheated and defrauded. To the tabloids, the bookies, and BGT: The Goddess will get you for that.

Now that Susan is getting back to herself, I have every confidence she can make the best decisions for herself because she has shown she knows herself well. But that is contingent on a couple of things: that she receives unfiltered, accurate information about everything and that she is not pressured and made to feel that if she wants a singing career she must do what she is told. Those are the two things I worry about.

I feel if she had been receiving accurate, unfiltered information about her supporters, not little bitsy pieces, it would have helped her frame of tremendously. My take has been from the start that she needs a manager completely unconnected to BGT, Piers, and Simon. And she should have other sources of information than those three.

Dear Susan, What awesome news it is to hear you have left the Priory after your much needed rest. It is also great to hear you are now back on the fast track with your music career. We all love you here in America and look forward to your upcoming album. Take care and I hope all of your dreams come true.

I was contacted by a member of my family this morning telling me that I've taken this Susan Boyle thing to far and it's to the point of addiction. I think they are going to try to do an intervention or something to me today so if I disappear from here for a while you'll know they sent me to a rehab somewhere. I hope it's Priory and request they send me overseas to PRIORY so I can try to get Susans old room.

Did anyone read the note from the last blog...a radio station has requested Donny Osmond to call Susan to wish her well and cheer her up a bit. Donny was Susan's idol as a child. She actually learned to sing, singing his songs. Perhaps, is the day he will call her. This would really make Susan's Day.

Posted by david on June 05, 2009
I'm not kidding about this.....someone come up with a word today to add to your dictionary for the new world addiction which is more addicting than booze, drugs, sex, shopping and all the rest. Maybe they will even open a new unit at the Betty Ford for those like me.

Regarding all the discussion on this site, Paul, the administrator, donations, etc. I have seen or heard no reason to mistrust the administrator. I am looking forward to seeing the changes and how they work. I have been grateful for the opportunity to join up here, meet some really great people whom I feel I know never having seen them, sharing our love for Susan and having a little fun and joking along the way. The donations are voluntary, and I plan to do so. One should always keep a donation to anything to an amount one can afford.

I personally would like to see her signed up with Simon Cowell. Why? Because at least he is in the public eye and we can keep an eye on things. I don't know who all the other record producers are and know nothing about them at all. I like that old saying......better the devil you know!

I told y'all last night that I felt as if we were in a maze trying to sort through all the constantly changing rumors and reports. I have just decided whatever I hear to always keep in mind it may or may not be true and withhold judgement on its accuracy. We can't really trust anything we read in the papers of any kind or hear on tv; I never feel I can trust anything that comes from BGT, Simon, or Piers. I have no accurate reading on Susan's family relations.

I am so pleased that Susan is out of the Priory. Excellent that they could take advantage of the political big news story to smuggle her out. I don't think she should do the BGT tour. She probably is not yet ready - it could be stressful for her and you can bet your bottom dollar that the press will be there to critique her every move. She should concentrate on preparing for her new album. It would be lovely if they would send her old coach, Fred O'Neil down to help her prepare. I'm sure she would feel very comfortable working with him. My warmest wishes to her for all the happiness in the world.

Morning y'all from Cameron Park, California!

WOW, over 100 posts so far on this topic! Glad we've got confirmation from Susan-Boyle.com, THE OFFICAL fans website far as I'm concered, thas Susan's out of the hospital and in a London flat. Hope that means she'll get visit from Elain Paige; watch for that and her being visited by other VIPs around town.

@ALL; Regarding what is or is not Susan's "official" website, let HER declare which one is, otherwise consider Susan-Boyle.com as the de facto one!

I know with all you creative people on board, some of you could design a tshirt that would be for this group to wear. All who wanted to could purchase one, and the money could be used for maintenance of site and/or go toward things we will be wanting to do for Susan, like her birthday, which I also heard was April, and there will be other occasions. Perhaps on the anniversary of her mother's death we might want to send flowers to be placed on the grave, at least a card to Susan.

Such a wonderful day, begining with happy news like this! Wherever Susan 'really' is, I hope she is truly back to her sassy, lovely self!

Lol--johnnycake, when I saw your bit about Old Deuteronomy working his magic on Grizabella, I had to giggle cuz I thought of the same thing! Coupled with what david wrote about the 7 days, 'Cats', and God working miracles since our last gloomy Friday plus dreadful Saturday, I got chills! Okay, so we are reading lots into it but I swear--it's as though Susan's life is kinda following the lyrics in those two songs! Wonder what would have happened if she'd have been allowed to sing 'Whistle down the Wind' after all, for the Finals?

Not sure I could get a framed copy of the Susaword Dictionary to Susan myself, since it'd need a glass front and would have to travel all the way from Texas to Blackburn...and somehow, printing it out on computer paper doesn't seem so 'special'. I doubt it would get through Customs intact. And I won't do it without an address for it to be sent to.

I was thinking along the lines of a perhaps a little book (or maybe not so little), with a word (or two) on each page, followed by a sentence using each word so as to demonstrate proper usage. But if we do that, it needs pictures...or some kind of drawings or icons, right? My old printer won't 'do' pictures--not decently. So maybe that's a bad idea.

Plus, I'm not 'artistic'--am kinda hoping someone else here might be though. I even thought of calligraphy--if anyone who's a member here can do it and would be willing to write it all down that way, on much nicer paper, that WOULD look lovely in a frame.

I mean--computer paper--yuck. Might as well just send it by email with fancy fonts and give Ryan the money to print it out and buy a frame with glass front for it...would that work? Seems like he lives almost 'close' enough--or if someone else living nearer Blackburn could figure out a way to get it to Susan without it having to be mailed--at least it wouldn't become broken.

We'll think of something. The list isn't quite done, anyhow. You can message me using my icon, or just post ideas here and we'll all look them over.

The only thing is--what is Susan actually gonna THINK of this stuff? You really believe she would hang the thing in her house? The idea of that is cracking me up!

@Allikat - You wouldn't have to print it on regular "computer paper." There are dozens of kinds of paper that work with computer printers, including some that look like parchment in various colors, others that are nice, heavy stock with very attractive colors and designs. Art supply stores, office supply stores, craft stores, printing and photocopying shops, all should carry some selection of "nice" papers for use in a printer. Some stores even sell the paper by the sheet, so you wouldn't have to buy an entire package.

Susan Boyle's a winner in everyone’s eyes Jun 4 2009 by Debbie Spalding, West Lothian Courier

Susan Boyle

FANS from Susan’s home town and all over the world told the singer this week “you’re still a superstar to us”.

The 48-year-old suffered a shock defeat in Saturday’s final of Britain’s Got Talent, losing out to dance act Diversity.

Press attention and the stress of the competition were blamed for the star being rushed into the Priory clinic on Sunday night where she is still being treated for exhaustion.

But supporters in her home town of Blackburn said the best thing for Susan is time at home for some rest and recuperation.

Neighbour Michelle McCabe said she now needed her friends around her.

“I would like to say that I wish Susan well and we have no doubt that she will go far, regardless.

“Everybody got behind her and we put up bunting and banners for her coming home, although I don’t know when that will be now.

“She’s needing to come home and spend some time in her own house, but whether she gets any rest there is another thing.”

Another neighbour, Petrone Aitchison, agreed, saying it was time people left Susan alone.

“I hope she is doing well and I think the media is to blame, she’s needing some peace now.”

Support for the star didn’t just stop at Blackburn, as Susan received messages from all over the world following her surprise defeat.

Eileen Mello from America said: “Please let her know that we are worried about her and want her to get well and that we want her to realise her dream.”

Sandra Fountain from Memphis said: “We are patiently waiting for her new CD collection of song favourites to be released on the US market. We’re also looking forward to her world tour.”

Sue Powell from Washington State, USA, said: "The support for her here in the USA is HUGE and in fact, most of us think it is ridiculous that she did not win. But we don't CARE whether she won or not... we love her voice Aand her sweet, gracious personality.

"If she comes to America thousands of us will be thrilled and welcome her; unfortunately, we will undoubtedly also have our share of unscrupulous media who will try to tear her down.

"But there is huge admiration for her here. She got on that stage and faced down her critics and she DID win... she beat them at their own game.

"The fact that she needs some special rest afterwards ... well, who wouldn't after what she faced? She is one courageous lady, and we hold her in very high regard!!! Many of us are praying for her quick recovery."

You can send your messages of support by clicking here

Did anyone think Simon was going to let anyone else manager her? Nope! He said she was the biggest star he's ever had. The woman gets a hiccup and it turns into breaking news on all the major networks. "Susan Boyle hiccupped, news @ 11". But, authorities did warn the press to back off or face penalties and consequences. First time that's ever happened I think. Anyway, ROCK ON dear Susan. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll sing something on a T.V. show sooooooooooon.

How nice to start this rainy day with good news--that Susan is out of the clinic. Yippee!!!!! You go girl, your new day has begun-for the rest of your life. Your loyal fans await you!

Allikat--thanks for the list. Good job.

DannyMac-I feel confident that TXNoelle will keep us all in line, ha.

david--does that mean we will see you on the TV intervention show?

Fleet Street were warned to back off Princess Diana once AFTER the Queen stepped in and that is the only time I remeber Fleet Street getting a warning to back off from anyone apart now from Susans health

For BS: sounds good--but my printer won't accept that parchment-type paper. It works, but is on its last legs. If I can find someone to assemble this who is IN the UK, preferably in Scotland, I'll be willing to buy the stuff myself over the internet at a store IN the UK, using my credit card and/or PayPal, if someone who has a printer that would work on such paper would pick up the materials, frame, glass, etc, and assemble it. Like I mentioned before--I'm not too artistic when it comes to things like this; I don't have the proper equipment to even do it with.

If it must be mailed--then it needs to be mailed from as 'close' as possible, not from over here in the US.

For greygrannie: look on the home page, middle of the left-hand column, or go to the blog just previous to this one, which has a click-on button right on it. Me, I'm still trying to work out how to do the PayPal thing. It's been years since I used PayPal and don't remember much about it, other than that I need to go find my account information and change my credit card number.

To Allicat, Like the idea of the dictionary, but please explain the reference to "deadhead"? Good news about Susan staying in London meantime - hopefully she will remain out of harm's way and continue her restoration to full fitness. She will need to be fit for all the tasks that lie ahead. Another thought - it's a pity that the master tape of her rendition of "Cry Me a River" no longer exists, but is it not possible in this electronic age in which we live nowadays for some enterprising record label to reissue this as a single somehow? Judging by the amount of views of this recording on YouTube and other sites, it would be a monster hit. I love this recording to bits and have never heard a better version anywhere. It sure shows just how versatile Susan is and the delivery of the lyrics is sublime. Blessing to all susanites, and to Paul and Ryan - keep up the good work!

From one of Susan's West Lothian fans - there are a lot us in Scotland who love her just as much as those of you across the water!

Good Morning Susanites !

On the road. Stopped to check emaiL and Susan news. As to her going to her own new place, as she would say: FANTASTIC !!! Hope Pebbles is there to greet her when she walks in the door.

Love the SusaWord Dictionary, Allikat ! Printing places have a great selection of bonds to print on. Then you can roll it into poster mailer, and ship it off. She can unfurl and frame. Am sure it would bring her a smile.

Nice to check in with a group of people who have Susan's best interests at heart. Thanks for the site community.

Oh ya, Simon will protect Susan for sure. He's got a $ in each eyeball. My hats off to the wonderful people who keep this website together. It matches Susan and the uplifting feelings she brings out in everyone. Definitely something to be happy about with the state of the world and it's doom and gloom. I wish I could donate but, I'm poor, lol. So, above that, I give it praise and a ton of thanks for sharing Susans stories with us.

Posted by Allikat on June 05, 2009
For stevieboy: Deadheads are Grateful Dead fans who follow the band from venue to venue, hearing concert after concert. It's almost become a generic term for any fans who do that for a favoured artist. I was only being a bit silly, adding that part.

For everyone else: I still think somebody artistically inclined had better prepare the 'dictionary' since I am clueless (and over-nervous) about actually doing the printing. I figured it could 'be' from our entire fan site--I wouldn't make it be from 'me' or anything. Several folks have contributed to the list of Susawords.
Posted by Patricia's Art on June 05, 2009
Susan is number 1 in the news !The media consider news what the public wants to hear. There is a huge public appetite for Susan Boyle. Susan is here to stay. Diversity is a flash in the pan. Susan is an icon. I'm sure her home in Scotland will be the next "Graceland" . Susan has a much broader public appeal then Diversity.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Well hell, I've been posting on the wrong blog page. No wonder nobody's talking. Ya'll have to keep me up to speed. I thought everybody had died and I was talking to myself.

Dilerious to hear that our Susan is out of the hospital and on the mend - and she got out safely without the vultures. I bet Simon saw to that! One good thing to come out of this is that our girl is still front page news and rubbing elbows with the rich and famous. That's pretty cool when you think about it. Like 'em or not, the big stars are paying attention to her.

Maybe if she's in a private flat in London she can have Pebbles.

Do you have an updated SusaWord list? If so, how can I find it? Hope you have Scrooge's sushi definition from last night.
Posted by BethInTheUSA on June 05, 2009
I'm sure that Simon wanted her out of that clinic to quell all the news stories that were declaring Susan to be a basket case, which is clearly untrue. Why feed bad rumors when it is just as easy to set her up with a nice place of her own where she can do as she pleases and not have to abide by hospital rules? She couldn't even have visitors like Elaine Paige at the clinic.

Question--how to make a 'copyright mark' for the dictionary? It needs to be a Susan-Boyle.com copyright.
Posted by tle on June 05, 2009
I'm so glad that Miss Boyle got some rest and, apparently, some positive support. She needed time to step back from all the craziness surrounding BGT and get a more objective view of her situation. I wish her the very best no matter what transpires, but hope she will be able to perform live and on recordings soon. And I hope she can learn to shake off the negative vibes from the sociopaths of the tabloid press, and focus on the incredible amount of warmth and caring she has inspired in so many of us. We are the people who will enable her dream of being a professional singer, since we are the folks willing to put our money where out mouths are. The nitwits from the Daily Sun Mail Mirror aren't going to buy her CDs -- they will be waiting for their complimentary PR copy, so nuts to 'em.

Awesome, get some coffee!

Folks, there's a great article about Susan in the Huffington Post (Press?), actually a whole page about her. I left a nice comment to the reporter - I'm so used to leaving the press a blast that I almost didn't know how to write a nice comment. Did I already say that?
Posted by PIGGIE on June 05, 2009
Grrrrrrr!!! I give up. From now on I am only going to be reading the summary news described here and not go to any original articles. No matter how positive and supportive they may start out, the all end up eventually going back to the oxygen-deprived, spinster, dowdy. That article comparing her to Kate Smith started out so nice, then descended into calling Susan "beefy-faced and a little grubby." AAAARRGGGHHH!!!!!! I'd like to see what all these writers look like!
Posted by BethInTheUSA on June 05, 2009

I am so happy to hear that Susan is on her way to recovery. It is nice that Demi and Auston have invited her to sing for their anniversary. What I would like to see happen is for Queen Elizabeth II to issue her an invitation to sing for her. I really think singing for the Queen was important to her and wouldn't it give Susan some confidence that the future is truly bright for her. She could certainly invite her to sing for another occasion rather than the Royal Variety Show.

She should only see words like beautiful, intelligent, sparkling, witty, talented, soulful, sensational......

Hey susanlover I saw the view and the comments made about susans talent as a singer. Whoopie was so nice. and honest about talent should trump looks. She says we as women should not be so critical. I hope that this now may encourage older talented adults to show their talents on Idol and America talent. I am so glad she Susan will be reaching that goal of hers and that simon has helped her.

I've got to contribute to the dictionary, too!

Suserain - (from suzerain, a sovereign or overlord, but Susan is the Queen, the overlady, because she really has a hold over us) and from this word we get

Suserainty - her rule (or spell, or hold) over us.

Boyle oh Boyle - what we say when we listen to her, (instead of boy oh boy.)

Su-pendous - because Susan is absolutely stupendous!

Did anyone else do this one?

Sue-per!

Thanks, Allikat, for starting this. We should probably have a blog devoted entirely to this dictionary.

So glad Susan is out of the Priory, making plans for her career.

You know to all out there I hope that TV media like larry king, merideth veria and other who have been critical of susan after the final and susans exhausation will let her be and focus on her talents and career. I hope if she does interviews it with Oprah, diane swayer-robin roberts, whoopie and most certainly katie curic. Katie did a great few minutes on susans cinderilla like story. They would also be kind to her. I did not like the fact that vera did not focus on susan's talents after the final. She could have focused on her strength of her voice, purity of her voice and how well she pulls the audience into the performance, But no they foucsed on her collaps from exhaustion. I wonder if they remember what it was like when the tried to put their little toe in that famous door. And susan has talent that far out reaches what they can imagine. K Gifferd on GMA came to tears whern she heard susan sing. I have listed to her and compared her to strisand, dieon and pattie lapone. Susan is in their league,WOW WHAT A TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by Eloise on June 05, 2009
Susan's quick release suggests she didn't truly need to be admitted in the first place, but just go to a place where she could have rest, quiet, and privacy. And -- it should have been -- be immediately reunited with Pebbles. That would have meant the world to her.

Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
See? Susan is being noticed by big stars! As to looks, Whoopi ought to know all about how talent trumps looks, huh? She has a lot of talent but she ain't no raving beauty. I don't know where people get off - I personally think Susan is beautiful, really beautiful. Comparing her to Kate Smith? Susan is WAY better and a lot prettier.

You know what I'd like to see Tommy do? A video with the song "You Raise Me Up". Such a beautiful song, and Susan has certainly raised us all up.

Whatever the reason, and it doesn't matter really, the BGT people are going to be scrambling to do everything they can for Susan to avoid any more criticism and backlash. They've been slapped around pretty hard over this, and you can bet they're going to be treating our girl REAL nice. Simon, Piers, all of them. I'd just like to see her happy like she was on the audition video. Haven't seen her look that joyous and carefree since this whole thing began. Just give her a hand mike and send her onstage to do her own thing - even let her talk to the audience if she likes. Susan's a free spirit and needs to fly. Stop trying to glamorize her unless she wants that - let HER decide how she wants to look.

I know it isn't possible and that I shouldn't even be thinking it, but I wish there were some way we could get just one picture and a little statement directly from Susan. It would be so reassuring, wouldn't it?

@AmazinglyCritical: Keep up the posts. It's good to have skeptics voicing their thoughts here. Too many of the press articles are absolute baloney, and we all need to remember that a few days ago everyone was vilifying the tabloids with good reason.

I enjoy seeing everyone working on the "dictionary" project. The words and definitions are terrific.

I wish Susan a peaceful rest. The only news tidbit I care about is when the CD might be available to buy. I'll be waiting a while for that one. LOL

If it's not too late, my suggestion for the dictionary is: susanity. It's the resulting state of mind of someone totally sane and normal (whose only "crime" is to have achieved instant fame) who is bullied by the media....It’s what happens, for example, when someone with endearing quirks, a saucy sense of humour, and maybe a quick temper suffers intense media scrutiny that uses words like "dowdy" & "spinster" to put her down -- dwells on apocryphal "learning disabilities" -- hounds her -- baits her -- then sensationalises her reaction.

Might I suggest that if anyone hears any negative stuff from tV shows, newspaper articles, please write them and blast them and let them know if they continue the Susan Boyle Fan Club 22,000 members strong will no longer tolerate it and we will boycott them and not buy their sponsors products. This is the best way from them pouncing on Susan again.

I did it for two days right after the finals and most stopped the name calling and stopped thir despicable behavior towards Susan in the States.

I'm sure they will try and start again. And the first photographer to get her picture will make big money. Let's clamp down on these buzzards.

I totally meant to be upbeat.

It shows you how something can be read in two different ways depending on the readers perspective.

To me Susan's saucy sense of humor is awesome and her endearing quirks are sweet. I've watched Susan every day since the first day I heard about her. I've feared for her, knowing what the news media does to people who are loved, I've cried for her. I've wept tears during her songs. I've wanted the best for her, and believe the best for her. I pray for her on a daily basis, and come on here numerous times a day to find out how she's doing. I am most definitely a sus-a-holic.

Hi folks. I share with you in your relief this is all finally over. Thanks to the courageous controversial members of this board who spoke out (even at the cost of being abused for it,) our fair lady is free. It is important to remember Susan’s release was an act of desperation and damage control, not kindness. In the absence of pressure from us, things might not have turned out so well. Now is the best time to start asking serious questions about why she was taken to the clinic in the first place. The tendency is to think we have been given something here. NO. We were given back only HALF of what was taken from us.

I’ll have the second half now. It is time for answers.

This entire thing was about the fact that someone has finally announced how women actually think, not only about themselves but about men. It has been surfacing for the last year or so that Women’s Liberation was a big scam.

As a woman, I will try my best to explain to people how Susan Boyle could stay chaste for 48 years. Virgins must not gain a reputation as insane.

A woman is a very spiritual person. When you watch girls playing, they are always “far away,” more so than boys. During a girl’s youth she hears constant reference to sex. She thinks this must be something wonderful. Untouched, a girl gets her first sexual feelings at about 11 years old in response to a male looking at her.

From 11 years old, she gets LESS and LESS interested in sex, despite noticing boys more and more. Girls learn empathy later on in life than boys do. From 13 she begins to consider boys more for friendship than for sex. Between 13 and 26 girls have a strong desire to be LIKED and INCLUDED by boys. The media misinforms them on how to get guys to like them, by telling them to go sleep around. 13 to 30 are the delicate years in a girl’s life. If she has not lost her virtue by this age she probably never will.

Between 30 and 48, Susan had little thought of sex.

I’m 26 now and I have already found myself hardly ever thinking about having sex. I have no less than 30 male friends. We kiss and cuddle and go out dancing and it’s absolutely wonderful. I find myself thanking my lucky stars every day I got safely through those delicate years and I can just coast now.

During the last year I have noticed a lot of people talking about something called “Spiritual Love.” This is love between a man and a woman that involves everything except sex, marriage, and babies. In spiritual love you do everything you do in a relationship except the trapping, constricting stuff. I had no idea I had been doing this “new” fashion for the last 10 years of my life. I can’t remember a time when I was not passionately in love with someone.

Of course, there is a problem with spiritual love, the same one there is with homosexuality. These two kinds of love are the LAST thing big business wants. That little thing called s-e-x is at the root of 99% of the economy. The discovery of Spiritual Love is the reason for the declining birth rate in France and the current recession. Fewer people are giving into their animalistic instincts, and finding it’s not so hard after all. Just like quitting smoking.

As a desperate measure to curb this tendency towards abstinence, Susan Boyle was chosen as a sacrificial lamb. They used her to subliminally scare virgins into thinking they would be imprisoned unless they reactivated and succumbed to their long-gone 11 year-old instincts.

As Susan’s abusers have found, scare tactics such as these are ineffective. All they did was make the ones among us who know what they did to Susan even more angry and adamant. They now realize they cannot put all of us away. The girls who would have got married will still get married, BUT the ones who know the economy feeds on people’s primal urges and impulses will get even more active and vocal against woman abuse.

Women are notoriously “illogical” and “emotional.” This is true.

The biggest mystery of a woman is that she enjoys the feeling of WANTING sex not the sex itself. Being in love means “wanting sex” not having sex. Unfortunately women only realizes this phenomenon after it’s too late and they’re saddled with a new addiction. Like chocolate and alcohol.

Susan was used to usher in a revival of Freudian psychiatric propaganda. This is nothing less than an act of war on a woman’s right to self-preservation and self-protection.

Abortion was made legal for the same reason that, ethically, women cannot be forced to become sexually active. Both a baby and a man constitute invasion of a woman’s body against her will. Unless an investigation is launched into what happened to Susan, the legalization of rape will not be far behind.

That being said, I am very relieved she is free and will be able to help with this investigation.

Impulsive comments made to specific members of this site are hurtful and damaging. I suggest from now on anyone who makes rude comments (unless they are said in defense) be immediately concluded as working for Susan’s abusers. There is room to disagree with people’s opinions without resorting to tasteless, vicious, and hurtful comments.

i have received emails from Magnify.net. My computer crashed in January because I clicked on the wrong email and cost me $450 to get it fixed. Magnify. net comes in my spam box. So anything sent there has not been opened as I don't want to take the chance of spam again. If you want to talk to me it will have to be on the blogs. Sorry, but I don't want to take the chance of crashing again. It is too expensive to get it fixed.

This is great news. JUST GREAT NEWS!!! I am so happy for Susan. I hope Susan does things on her own terms. I feel that she just wants to sing. Susan doesn't need to shimmy and show leg stuff --- and no one should ask her to do that. That is taken advantage of her.
•**** Susan should be herself as we first saw her, just lovely. **** That's all we need is her beautiful voice singing our favorite songs, that beautiful smile and cheeky grin, and a little chat with her adorable accent. Susan, GOOD NEWS SUSAN, we can't wait for your music. GOD BLESS YOU.

Hey, have ya'll noticed that the nasty Google ad is gone off the bottom of this page and has been replaced by a Support Susan Boyle ad? Ha! Our blasts to them worked. Scares 'em when this many people threaten to boycott their sponsors. Every time I see anything negative about our darling anywhere, I send them a scathing commentary. It's fun too.
Posted by stevieboy49 on June 05, 2009
For Allicat, Thanks for the explanation. Not being a devotee of that particular group, I was unaware of the context of the remark, that's all. Yes, I suppose that I am already a deadhead, having listened to Susan sing locally on a number of occasions prior to her audition. I suppose that might make me the envy of a few of her devoted fans here, but I am confident that before much longer Susan's voice will be heard in concert in much much bigger arenas than those in which I saw her perform. Let's hope that it is not too long a wait, but I still don't think that she should perform for BGT. I still harbour reservations about her having any further connection with that programme, even if it did afford her the opportunity to display her wonderful talent to the world.

I wish she wouldn't do the tour. She needs more time out to rest, and more time to sort things out. I'm sure Diversity and others would love to have her with them because she would be a big draw. But I predict several things would happen: resentment would begin to set in; Diversity is a big group that now has money and they will have their own internal tensions - Susan will be a convenient scapegoat. Her security and minders will set her apart, and once again negative characterizations will set in. I imagine family members of performers will be around - more possibilities for trouble if she isn't going to take tea with them when they want etc. etc. If it were up to me she could go ONLY if they had group counselors to keep the lid on the rest of the group.

Second, I think there will be too much stimulation for this woman who has lived in relative isolation. So once again if she's shielded from it, there will be charges of favoritism. (see above)

I think she should do her CD where she will be working with professionals in a managed environment. There will be enough stresses in that but she can get it done, watch the sales soar, get some mentoring about dealing with the media, and get her panicky and gossipy brother off her back. She would be working at singing which will help her heal, and have time and privacy to get whatever counseling she would like.

And finally, I don't like the changes BGT made. I often watch all 3 videos, and the woman in the Audition is the one I fell in love with. The bold stride on stage, the sass, the early walk off ("I'm done here..."), the emotional investment in her song, the facial expressions, the change when she realized the audience was with her etc. I liked the hair in Video 2 and 3, and that they didn't try to tame it. Loved the dress in V2. The last performance was someone else's fantasy, and maybe the best comment about that comes by seeing what they did to Amanda who looked like a mannequin. But it's what I think they did to Susan's spirit that bothers me most. Some of the tigers that come at night came from BGT, the rest came from the media.

To Susan: Rest well you wonderful woman. I wonder if it occurred to you that your mother gave birth to you when she was 47, and you gave birth to yourself when you were 47. As you said "baby steps" are in order. Talk to Pebbles, rest, and when you are ready, sing to us. You have brought healing to this sorry world, heal yourself now. We love you. We will wait.

In the meantime know that much of the world has wrapped our arms around you in a big loving hug.

I am thrilled to hear Susan is back! I've been a fan since I saw a short clip of her performance on the news, and rewatched on youtube. From the beginning, I thought Susan represented an ideal - the people of the world coming together and celebrating a truly beautiful person. As the weeks went on, culminating with the 2nd place title - I noticed a shift in the online comments on youtube/twitter, etc. That day, I found this website and nearly wept again as I saw the hearts of humanity supporting the talented, amazing, brave, and wonderful Susan! I feel like I know most of you from all the comments I've read since finding the website. And with the great news of Susan's release, finally decided to register an account and tell all the FANS how much your support of Susan encouraged me that the world isn't full of hateful, meanspirited jerks. @Lonnirose, much like that awful google ad, which I'm glad is gone! CHEERS! :D

IvoryMist, you got that right, they will want her to tour. She is one of their big draws. In the interview that Susan's brother had this am, rocky10 posted the link early in this blog. Her brother fully supports Simon Cowell in his decisions with Susan; he feels that he is the most capable person of handling her entertainment career from this point. And, since Simon is BGT and owner of BGT you will have to figure Susan is going to try to do what she can to accomodate Simon, and if that means go on the tour, I believe she will. Simon told her to rest, and he also told her if she was unable to do the tour so be it. But, I think Susan is ready for everything now and this keeping her in the Priority may have been just to keep her locked up while they found a new more secure place for her to be. It looks like she is in an undisclosed flat of London.

I am another Susaholic from the USA. I joined yesterday after coming to this site for comfort each day. So thrilled our Susan is on her way!!!!!! I listened to her Final Performance over and over again last night, and truly believe it's the most powerful, visceral performance I have ever witnessed!!!!
Posted by Carnegie61 on June 05, 2009
I agree with Maigret. I think it would be in Susan's best interests to skip the BGT tour. Concentrate on HER dreams, not lining the pockets of the BGT people.
Posted by mdillow31 on June 05, 2009
TXNoelle, thanks. My computer says it is spam from Magnify.net so I haven't opened and read anything that has been sent to me.

Lonnirose, thanks for blasting the press and threatening the sponsors. I'm sure they will start again so we need to be ready to pounce on them right at the beginning. There's no sense of Susan having to go through that. We need to protect her as much as possible.

I would think Simon will try now to protect her from the press too but he can't control all media so that is where we come in. :)

I am elated that Susan was well enough to leave the Priory -- MAKES MY DAY! Dear Susan, I come to this website first thing in the morning, during the day, and last thing at night for news on your well-being. You have been in my constant prayers. Keep on singing, lassie!
Posted by tweek on June 05, 2009
Since Susan has become such a household name, the press is going to be on her trail even if something good happens to her. What if she should decide to go out with some nice man for lunch/dinner, there will be 100 photos taken before they can throw the soup in their face. I think Piers, himself, would be afraid to be caught with her even if it were just for fun.
Posted by maigret on June 05, 2009
In my post above, I forgot to say: Thanks Simon for looking after her - could you get her old coach Fred O'Neil involved if she wants - and of course, Pebbles?
Posted by TXNoelle on June 05, 2009
MDILLOW, I, too, at first recv'd mail from magnify.net via spam box. All I had to do was open one and put the address for them in my email "contacts" list to begin receiving them in my inbox. They are valid email messages from posters on this site, sent via this site's message feature.

Maigret,

So well said! Susan should take her time ... she doesn't need to rush back into the whirlwind. Susan doesn't need to be part of the BGT tour. In some ways, it not only wouldn't be fair to Susan but it wouldn't be fair to the other groups if Susan participates in the BGT tour. Susan's fans should understand and patiently wait for whatever is best for Susan to do next.

I hope the original story is accurate. Can anyone tell me if SusanBoyleFan and/ or Anonymous are people close to Susan? It would be helpful to know the authenticity of the postings.

Also, for whomever is in charge of the website may I make a suggestion? I would appreciate having the date given on the videos. Thanks so much for all the work that has been done to make this fan site happen.
Posted by Fran&Ann on June 05, 2009
Great news. Hope Pebbles is with her in the flat. I read on stv.com that her brother Gerry is staying with her. Also article on BBC. I also read on one site that Demi Moore and Ashton have invited her to sing at their anniversery party in Sept.and are paying her $300,000. I wonderhow they know this stuff!!!!! Goodo luck Susan.
Posted by NancyUSA on June 05, 2009
Susan was concerned about her career and if anyone would buy her CDs. Maybe a mini tour (to the USA) in smaller settings would be good for her and/or getting a CD out for the public. Maybe it would be helpful for her to feel and see the love that is out here for her and that she is a special star the world over and folks want to hear her lovely voice. That would take away her concerns in that area. I am sure Simon would arrange it in such a way that it would not be too taxing on Susan.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Maybe Susan WANTS to tour - it would be tragic if she wanted to go and BGT tells her she can't because they're afraid she'll exhaust herself again. (A bit of CYA) I'll say this, though. If she does want to go and is well enough, we better hear that she is well protected and thoroughly looked after or there's going to be a mutiny around the world against them. I want Susan to do what SHE wants and not what somebody else wants. She did a wonderful job in the contest, but I personally feel she was too controlled by the show people. I've said this before - just give her a hand mike and set her free. Let her dress the way she wants and act the way she wants - people love the natural Susan - she is magic! Her charm, other than that extraordinary voice, is that she doesn't realize how charismatic she is.

Good news indeed! I just uploaded a video from GMTV Hilights with an interview with Gerry Boyle about Susan's recovery.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Forgot to say this: If Susan is worried that nobody will buy her recordings, she should be told about the million copies that Walmart has ordered. Those are already sold, folks, and as soon as she produces her first CD she'll be a millionaire. Do the math.
Posted by IvoryMist on June 05, 2009
She was staying in a flat in central London her brother Gerry, 55, told GMTV. He said: 'She's much happier. She's seems a lot more like herself.'

Does the word "seems" mean that she is not quite herself?

Who knows some day there may be convention or something for all of us to get together. This is a really nice banner.....when is it going to be decided what banner will be used? Just heard the news that Susan is out of the Priory and at an apartment in London. What an exciting time for her. Her life is never going to be the same again. Like she says.......just take baby steps. All of us are waiting patiently to hear her sing again. I hope it is not too long before we hear her. Have a great day everyone....

At least the media will leave you the heck alone. I think it made them mad because they couldn't find any real dirt on you. We love you, susan, here in North carolina and can't wait for your debut CD, and the movie, and the performance at the White house, and the..... Kick butt and take names. Tom

Oh Lordy, more tears. Just seeing her face reduces me to a blubbering idiot. So happy to see her, so happy! Left a comment on the Daily Mail stating same.

I thin k susan will say, "Take baby steos." As far as Simon I think he wants to make the CD with the Zhech group first like they did with Paul Potts. As far ass the tour it remains to be seen just because one is in a London flat doesn't mean Susan still may need more rest. Her brother Gerry said she needs to come home and have some tea and see Pebbles. Simon said he will help her with her career as she feels like it. :)

I loved seeing Susan's new pictures. It was marvelous to see her out, having a good time in the shops. She was escorted by her doctor, who we would hope would know how to tell anyone off who strayed too close... It makes me feel a little sad for Susan, who in other times would probably have been glad enough to greet anyone who came up to her. Turning people away who want to walk up and shake your hand and tell you how wonderful you are, might take some getting used to, but I imagine Susan is seeing the wisdom in it.

I'm baaack! Ok, lonnirose, agree very much on Susan being a free spirit, We fell in love with who she is as a person, which came through in her singing and her interviews, as well as with her singing. I saw her as attractive before all the tidying up. And I love her sense of humor, sense of fun. It is Susan. I don't want them to squelch her and try to mold her into something else. And I wish there were someway to communicate to that to her past whatever other input she is getting. Maybe they are telling her she has to glamor up and tone down. Horrible thought.

Anyway I am trying to learn to do this. I know for me, nothing would totally satisfy me unless I could go there, and see Susan fact to face to see how she appears and to talk with her about how she is feeling.

A convention, that's the ticket. Great suggestion!. We could do it on Susan's birthday or the anniversary of when she knocked the world off its axis.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Yeah, Danny. I think that's what caused part of the problem. They tried to fit Susan into some kind of mold, maybe making her feel that her true self just wasn't good enough or something. Not sure I'm stating that right, but you all know what I mean. Let Susan be Susan - she's wonderful, glorious, charismatic, cute, and OH so talented. Just give her that hand mike and turn her loose. You know what? If we as normal folks can see that, why couldn't the so-called professionals see it?
Posted by YourAwesome on June 05, 2009
@dannymac GOOD ONE!!! I think I need one NOW...!!

Before I leave for my appointment... does Susan know about the 22,000 fans on her official Fan Club ? Has anyone told her about us.

If not, we need to let her know we are here and going to support her in every way and buy her cD's which she thought people wouldn't when Diversity took 1st place.

Gotta go. I don't want a speeding tivcket. LOL !

Posted by DannyMac on June 05, 2009
TXNoelle, I am so in ageement. Even the more favorable articles keep calling her spinster, virgin, and all the other words about her appearance. They drag it all in every time. And surely we don't need here to be speculating about Susan's sexual life. Whether she has, wants to, or will sometime no one knows but her. It is no one's business. Who cares. To me there is something strange about being caught up in the subject.
Posted by PaulieDB on June 05, 2009
OMG I am over the moon that our Susan is finally free and getting ready to really start her career... This is fantastic news....

I wonder how they got her out of the Priory, I guess there may have been another exit, as I saw heaps of paparazzi outside the front gates... At least she is safe and on the road to recovery.....

Glorious news and has made my day

Hi guys -just now checking in and have not cruized threw the posts. It's raining here today but I have "sunshine" in my heart. Our Susan just needed time to decompress and the gain the much needed clarity regarding her outlook. Onward and upward from here!!
Posted by DannyMac on June 05, 2009
YourAwesome, somebody here mentioned we could have a convention and I just reacted. Great idea to me too. We need to appoint a planning committee. I nominate you and TxNoelle. We can serve those Boylermakers as the official drink.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
I imagine Simon had a hand in getting her past the vultures. And I also betcha that her pictures were taken WITH HER PERMISSION. Those smileballs have had their comeuppance, probably by more people than us, and I bet they don't DARE say anything derogatory or try to push themselves in her face. I'm not above telling 'em to eff off again in print.
Posted by me4u on June 05, 2009
This is an excerpt from yet another article on Susan:

Max Clifford, a rep for Britain's Got Talent figurehead Simon Cowell, also discussed her release. "She came out yesterday evening. She is going to be having discussions about her career. But they are going to see how she is and get her feeling for the way forward," he said, adding, "But it is all very gently, gently."

Gently, gently sounds wonderful to me!
Posted by Tacomafan on June 05, 2009
I saw the pictures of Susan out and about on the Daily Mail online . She looks great...looks like a new hair style too...not as curly. She looks so rested it's wonderful!

Posted by YeahSusan on June 05, 2009
Could someone please explain the word "kitsch" to me, as used in this article from the Daily Mail? To me it sounds rather derogatory or condescending. Is Demi Moore really supportive of Susan or perhaps just interested in furthering her own career? "Hollywood stars Demi and Ashton are believed to want Susan to fly to Los Angeles to perform for them after becoming captivated by her audition performance of I Dreamed A Dream. A source told the Daily Mirror: 'They think Susan is brilliant, in a fantastically unique and kitsch way. But no formal approach will be made until it is clear she is well.'

Wouldn't it be wonderful for the press to describe Susan as, "The Amazing singer who has taken the entire world by storm with only three public appearances!", rather than all the rest of the degrading, innaccurate drivel they usually throw out? Susan, just know we love and respect you. There is only one Susan, and she is wonderfully unique!

I can relate to the music competition arena.

When I was just coming out of Manhattan School of Music, I entered several national and one international competition. There is nothing more emotionally powerful (good and bad) than performing, coming that close to winning and not--I remember three people had to haul me out of the Metropolitan Opera House after I lost the final rounds of the Metropolitan Opera competition (that was in the 60's.

Susan, you're a winner. This competition isn't just against other singers. This was against other entertainers. I think many of the voters were a younger viewing audience (into the pop scene) and not so much focused on the musical genre. Don't feel bad about a temporary emotional downspin. It's to be expected. Think of it as, sort of a musical version of post partum depression.

Whatever you do, Susan, and I hope you continue because I believe (truly believe) you will have a fabulous career) know you came out a winner, that you have a fabulous talent--vocally polished--and will make a great addition to the recording industry. You WILL make it, if this is what you want. Congratulations

You go girl!

Thanks, I did find the photos Google Daily Mail. She does look good but her brother ought to keep his mouth shut and stop diagnosing her as having an anxiety attack.

I'm glad she isn't planning to do the Demi Moore bash. She should stay away from anyone in the States right now - they only want to cash in on her fame and aren't thinking of her welfare. She needs a lot of time out. There's a good interview with Piers on BBC. Sorry I don't have the link Back to work now.

Right on, Kat! I'm sick to death of the darn press having a field day calling her frumpy, etc. There's a nice article in the West Lothian Courier, quoting some of her friends, but it's not too current because they think she's still in the Priory. They said they have buntings up, etc. for when she comes home, but they don't know when that will be.

I can only find one current picture of Susan - where are the others?
Posted by GiniK on June 05, 2009

Ivorymist...when we Scots say "seems to be her old self" as her brother Gerry said..what is means Susan is well and doing grand...Sometimes we would say " Susan is back to her old self."... I think the picture speaks louder than words. Susam is back... I'm tiffed that Susan's release wasn't front page news on some UK papers...maybe they're afraid of doing too much press now since they got their hands lapped.

SUSAN BOYLE- A blessing from above

Susan Boyle is a courageous woman A blessing from above, She looks like an Angel And is filled with God’s love. She has the talent and the gift To make her dreams come true, And the voice of a Angel She wants to share with you. Susan is quite young and single God has made her that way, She lives alone with her cat, Pebbles And treasures her everyday. So when you hear Susan sing With her voice reaching the skies, Just say a little prayer for her Till tears fills your eyes.

I echo armysole's words here. I really don't know what is going on with you WOMANSRIGHTTOLOVE. What's with all the sex and virgin stuff? there isn't any need for this. Susan's sexuality isn't an issue here, it is her performance that matters and how she has brought so many people together from around the globe. Lets all wish her well now that she is out of hospital. The poor woman was exhausted. Everyone is entitled to their privacy, especially when they are admitted to hospital. No one has the right to speculate as to why exactly she was there. Just be grateful she is well enough to be released now. She is a wonderfully talented woman (who looked lovely particularly in the final especially) and we are all here to celebrate the woman who became the face of Britains Got Talent.

Hello all, I don't have much time to participate in the chats that occur in these blogs. I do, however, skim through them every so often. I glad Susan has so many who love her. I am feeling much more positive today. I was afraid that Susan would not want to continue with her career because of what she has been through. But now I am reassured that she needed reasurring that she could still have a career. That can certainly be provided to her! We are all waiting with baited breath to hear more of her singing. P.S. I am so happy for Susan and her new found fame. She deserves to have a singing career because her voice is fantastic. I get chills up and down my spine and get goose bumps on my arms every time I listen to her sing because she has such a beautiful and powerful voice!! I am glad she is recovering and home from the clinic. Now
Posted by david on June 05, 2009
I like to interpret things I see in pictures and for the recently posted ones of Susan it is very apparent that she has some very big dudes probably standing 15 feet away where this and other photogs went to town snapping as many pics as they could, they could shout all the questions they liked and finally Susan could say nothing if she pleased, or say what she pleased. We see her standing as a group of 2 but surely 15 feel from her is an army of jounalists and photographers, or maybe just 1 embedded photog assigned to her entourage which now likely consists of many when Susan steps out back into her new world.

Posted by david on June 05, 2009
today I feel even more sorry to DIVERSITY for a job well done and and great performance.....they have got to be seeing that the Susan spotlight is eternal. They've got class to and are probably quite pleased the they can ride the coat tails of Susan Boyle.
Posted by Courtney on June 05, 2009
Susan was out shopping the one main street of the village north of London where Simon has put her up. It is the 3rd wealthiest town in all of England. Too funny--Cowell loves creating divas :) She had her doctor and a friend with her. SO as to not be like those media vultures, best not to say where, exactly. Here's hoping for a CD when she feels up to it--and really, isn't Susan way beyond trudging around on a bus with BGT tour??
Posted by PWattis on June 05, 2009
Thank you DannyMac.
Posted by DannyMac on June 05, 2009
AZJanet, I checked those out. Some do look better than the ones at Daily Mail. I particularly like the one where she is turning to go back inside and waves.

You know if this was the first time to encounter media since the show and going in clinic, it must have a little intense for her. Not encountering any problems was probably a positive feeling for her.
Posted by AZJanet on June 05, 2009
PKoch: the Britains Got Talent Tour which begins next week is NOT sold out, as expected. There is speculation that: folks are waiting to see if Susan participates, or folks have had enough of the contestants from the finals on TV and don't think they will offer much more worth the ticket price, so says the write up that I read regarding this. To get tickets you go to Britains Got Talent website. West End shows whould be totally different for ticket purchase. Obviously if Susan is in a show you will find the details on this site as soon as available and the link as to info on how to attend.
Posted by david on June 05, 2009
with Susans fame just pay real good attention to the legion of great looking hunks that want to be seen with her on the red carpets that await her at the events she chooses to attend.
Posted by PWattis on June 05, 2009
Yes, david. They are getting a lot more exposure than they would have because of Susan. I'm sure I would never have heard of them if it weren't for Susan. I can't say I feel sorry for them.
Posted by Wild Ol' Dan on June 05, 2009
Howdy Pards,

Make no mistake, Susan Boyle wants to be on that tour of Britains Got Talent shows! She is not weak. She is not fragile. She has a dream and the courage and the determination to make that dream come true!

It is Susan Boyle who will begin to profit now from her wonderful talent. She needs this stage experience. Please remember she has performed on stage in front of a large audience exactly three times at this point. The last thing she wants or needs to do now is run off and hide somewhere.

Confidence comes with experience. If Susan is going to succeed on her way to her dreams then she HAS TO BE on stage singing! Please do not believe that Susan is in any way weak. She simply needed some rest...that is all...or she would still be in that clinic.

It took courage for her to walk out on that stage the first time...and wonderful things began to happen. She wont achieve her dream if she doesn't show the same courage over and over and over again!

She did not say that her dream was to win a talent contest. She did not say that her dream was to record one CD then vanish into thin air. She said her dream was to be a singer like Elaine Paige. Believe me, Susan has everything she needs to accomplish that dream!

It is natural for us to want to comfort and protect her from the world. But, I'll bet ya that Susan is focused on the adventure ahead. Susan Boyle has a gift, a talent, a light. The last thing she wants is to hide that light under a bushel...no...no...she wants that light to shine!

The way for us to support her dream is to be there in that audience applauding wildly as she continues to touch our hearts. Standing ovations are the best thing in the world for Susan Boyle right now!

She has no "learning disabilities"...boy I hate the term, that label...she has a dream to sing...and when she does all of us benefit...the whole world. Let's focus on Susans wonderful abilities...one of which is the ability to bring joy and happiness to our entire world!

Do not attempt to hold Susan back...let our applause be the wind beneath her wings as she soars...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

@david, I know I probably sound sexist but I really would love for Susan to find a strong life partner to provide some stability.

Is the woman in the picture with Susan her doctor or her friend. So glad she has a friend with her. That is so important. Someone who knew her before all this.

Wonderfully said Wild Ol'Dan! Thank you especially for pointing out that Susan is not weak. I have gotten annoyed with reports that she should not have been allowed to perform in the finals! No, she had been working for that moment! She just should have been protected from the vultures! I do believe she feels at home when she is on stage.
Posted by susaphile on June 05, 2009
I hope that Susan will now be allowed to do what she does best, and that the gutter press will give her some space!

Maybe Simon is now PRINCE CHARMING......he probably gave Susan his American Express card and said I told you.....It's whatever you want now Susan and I'll stand by you. So She's taking him at his word and spending away she has a new flat probably furnished with a throne, she's got cash, access to private Simon islands, protection, new clothes, new jewelry, the list goes on and on and she deserves all of it and I thank you Simon for providing it and standing by your word that Susan can have whatever she wants.

PKoch: Susan has expressed interest in a partner before this all happened. Allegedly falling for a 67 year old widowed man named Helmut she met at a church prayer group. He told her he was too old for her and too old to start over with a new relationship and she apparently took it well, though asked him if she made $$ would he travel to Rome with her.

The woman in the pictures with her is her doctor, not a friend from earlier days. But I'm sure she's a friend now!

A thought... I really don't think she needs to be on that circus tour with those kids. I'm thinking I'll bet she would enjoy working out her arrangements with the Czech Orchestra and recoding them for everyone to hear, and of course, we could buy them then. Or even just in a recording studio FIRST, to really concentrate on her singing, put the CD's out there, and I feel they will be snapped up immediately! With that encouragement, then she could pick and choose the venues she would like to perform at, on her own time schedule! Thus no hassle with distractions of other people & their relatives.

Now that Susan's been sprung and is free again and has the class after all she's been through to re emerge in front of a camera. I am praying so that we see a new photo of Susan with Pebbles and then I finally can relax once again knowing all is well in Susan's world.

@AZJanet, yes I read that story. If true he obviously wasn't the right one - from his comments didn't seem strong enough.
Posted by anna_california on June 05, 2009
Her face has lost a lot of the BGT stress, she looks very centered, very determined, I still believe she needs her own managment to keep Simon on track.

Next: I don't think Susan wants a throne in her new flat, or even would have one, and would be hurt that a "fan" said so... though we the people have given her one, I think that saying she'd even want one, is a gratuitous diss to her - which the media keeps doing over and over and it really really ticks me off. Say something nice without the digs. Really. Everyone for the moment gushes over her now, and still slips the snide slight in. Stop it!

Wow this is such wonderful news - yayayayay.

Thanks Susan for being so thoroughly yourself. We love you, we love your music, we love your style - you are the best!!! You have given hope and joy to millions but we would not like that to be at your expense. Thrilled that you are now in a flat and hopefully with those who are close to you and love you!!!

What strikes me is that Susan simply wants to sing. She wants to bring us joy through her exquisitely beautiful voice and she's doing that. What a gal!!!
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
She should go if SHE wants to go, but not otherwise. Those BGT people are running so scared right now they'll let Susan do anything she wants, I betcha. Rightly or wrongly, they've been chastised for what happened to her.

I agree that recording is a darn sight easier than personal appearances, and totally private unless others are given permission to be there, aside from the technicians. And do-overs are a given - it's a lot of fun.

Yay Simon! He's the one with the golden pocketbook, and I bet he's letting our girl use it, too. Go baby girl! Nothing makes a woman feel better than new clothes, right ladies? You deserve the world at your feet Sugah, and you'll have it too. This time next year you'll be inviting Simon to YOUR private island.

I'm starting to look at Simon with new eyes. Maybe a lot of what he projects is just for show and he's a softie underneath. Ya think?
Posted by PWattis on June 05, 2009
@AZJanet, very good point. I have gotten the sense that she is open to it too, but didn't like all the "never been kissed" commentary.
Posted by britgirl45 on June 05, 2009
It soundls like that Susan wants to participate in the BGT tour. It is no longer a competition but a chance to showcase performances and I think that will make Susan more relaxed. Here she will get another chance to show her stuff. I think she will feel confident in her performance. I would like to think that there will be a certain camaraderie amongst all the performers, rather than jealousy. This is just another chance for her to do what she loves to do, but without the pressure of the audition, semi-final and final. I am wondering whether we will see more than one song, maybe some fresh material, or will it be a reprise of the final performance.

HOW TO TREAT A WOMAN

Wine her. Dine her. Call her. Hold her. Surprise her. Compliment her. Smile at her. Listen to her. Laugh with her. Cry with her. Romance her. Encourage her. Believe in her. Pray with her. Pray for her. Cuddle with her. Shop with her. Give her jewelry. Buy her flowers. Hold her hand. Write love letters to her. Go to the ends of the earth and back again for her.

HOW TO TREAT A MAN

Show up naked. Bring chicken wings. Don't block the TV.

Obviously, the press was alerted that Susan would be making an appearance, and as David noted, the press must be behind a barrier of some sort. HOORAY for Simon. This had to be a real test for Susan to be able to feel comfortable seeing the press and knowing she would not be hounded up-close as has happened in the past. The woman (Doctor? whatever) is surely close to Susan as back-up. Certainly this is one more baby-step on the way to being comfortable with her FAME. Lets hope we get treated to DAILY Susan pictures. Susuan's "flat" in London is probably larger and fancier than her entire council house in Blackburn. She will just have to get use to the very finer things in life, cause that's where she is going. HOORAYHOORAYHOORAY, couldn't happen to a finer singer in the whole wide world.

Woman'sRightToLove. WHAT????? I just wanna come here and talk about our Lady Susan. I don't want to read about what you think about sexuality. I just wanna talk about Susan and Susan's music. This is not the place for a discussion about the state of Susan's sexualtiy. If she's happy, I'm happy. I think it's everyone own choice and certainly not a topic of discussion on this board.

Posted by DannyMac on June 05, 2009
Yes, absolutely, Susan is a strong woman, don't think I have ever seen a stronger. She has had to be strong and courageous all her life. Likely she and her mother were the only ones who truly believed her dream was possible. She lost that support. And then, after two years of mourning (not that you ever really stop), she determined to try one more time, and went alone, and stepped out on that stage, confident in what she was about to do, unshaken by the scorn so openly shown to her, and did it. You can't get any stronger and more courageous than that.

Susan, if you're reading this, you have to be thrilled with the hundreds and hundreds of messages of love and support. We're eager to hear you sing again, but all in good time. I hope you find a good manager you can trust and who will keep your best interests in mind, so your schedule doesn't overwhelm you. We all care about you as a person as well as a singer with an incredibly stunning voice and style. Best wishes on the BGT tour, if you go. I would love to attend one of the performances, but I'll settle for videos on the net. Your dream is really happening and we're all the richer for it!!! Thank you for sharing your gift.

Not since Connie have I taken a liking to any singer until Susan came along. I signed in with "Stupidcupid" because I use that name for all my internet sign-ins. It's easy for me to remember. Howdy Scrooge,

IvoryMist is right, far as we know now she was never invited to the White House by the President or anyone else. Some dedicated members of this site who were in the chat room the other day were called press secretaries and anyone else they could find at the White House and they had absolutely no knowledge of an invitation.

So...she'll get that invitation at a later date when she conquers America. That's on her schedule you know...

First it's those wonderful Britains Got Talent shows where she meets up with her friends once again, both kids and adult. Then it's off to record those CD's...then it's off to America.

That's the latest we've heard. I sure hope the Queen of the British Empire wakes up soon and invites Lady Susan to also perform for her. That's one more of Susan's dreams.

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

So glad to hear you are out of the clinic and feeling much better. You had us worried, but knowing that you've been released in just a few days tells us that you just needed to de-stress and get some rest and get away from the crowd for a bit - especially certain reporters.

You are a nice person who did something very brave and showed the world that we all have something more to offer. I just wish I could sing like you do. If I could, I'd be singing all of the time. You've got some lucky neighbors.

Take care and we hope to hear something from you Susan to know that you truly feel better.

I'm overjoyed to learn Susan is back! She does look wonderful with that sleak hairdo! I believe this woman has a thousand different looks and smiles, all of them endearing! What she has been through still shows in her eyes, though. I agree with Maigret, don't forget BGT tour audiences might indeed be packed with Susan's fans but there would be quite a lot of Diversity fans, as well. Most of them being very young people, they might not have lived long enough to spare Susan's feelings or understand what she means to the rest of the world. What she needs now is unconditional love and attention until she's strong enough to face any adversity that may come her way. Of course, I do hope there will be very little of that for her to cope with. By the look of her in those pictures, we can imagine Susan's health and mood will go on improving in the next few weeks. However, I think we must be prepared to see her more subdued, at least in her off-stage appearances. She might want to be careful not to let anything out for the gutter press to feed on. If she's indeed to launch into a career as an international singer, she'll also need to learn how to bridle her emotions in order to keep her boisterous energy for her performances on stage. Her personal balance is at stake, not because of personal frailties, though she may have some as anybody else, but because a singing career is particularly trying. Remember what we love is to hear her singing her heart and soul out. Well, she will have to be careful not to let anybody break that heart again.

Who are the real ones that perhaps need psychiatric help ? I would say the execs of the show of BGT if they truly believe coming in No. 1 means the most talented...yes I know Susan did the right good thing in saying the best act one but really can it truly be argued there is a best one of many of the talents ? I would have voted for Susan if allowed to because I thought she did great and I like the classics but maybe perhaps some of the younger demographics didn't it's not their thing....I doubt Eliane Page would have won that competition....but for us who love the type of music that Susan sings it to us was spectacular .... because one however gets less votes on the night....well compare it to sports...if a greater number enjoy soccer as compared to American baseball or lets say hockey is enjoyed but is lower on the list does that mean I don't strive because of my desire to be a No1 hockey player ?? So the idea that Susan somehow lost and another group somehow won....won what ? While its fun for BGT to create an illusion of a top winner when the talents are all different in what they do how can there be any sanity in that way of thinking ? Susan tried out in other singing competitions in her life in times past and lost....THIS TIME SHE WON....she won the singing division of BGT ....Congratulatons Susan you did win and that is not an illusion. :-) And Diversity won the division they were involved in regard to the dancers and congratulatons to them as well ;-)

I live 15 minutes from Hammersmith Apolo, but before I purchase the ticket I'd like to be sure that Susan will be there. I Don't want to spend £32.00 (aprox U$ 50.00 on the other acts) Anyone can gives an update on this.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Dan, if Susan doesn't go the ticket sales won't be so good. People want to see HER, more than anyone.

As to that old man who said Susan liked him - ha! In his dreams! He's just trying to get his name in the news. Susan is hobnobbing with the rich and famous now.

Posted by TommyUSA on June 05, 2009
I don't want anyone to think that I am so shallow as to think that just Susan's style of music won me over.. It was the way she sings from her heart..... it pierces those hearts who are sensitive to those kinds of things. And touches their souls as well. This is Susan's touch. She will always be a winner to me, no matter she sings, because I know she will sing it from her heart!

I'm checking in, and checking out. It's bedtime here and my husband is getting jealous of Susan. I wanted everyone to know that I'm "lisalater" and by some quirky mistake (I'm good at those) I had two accounts on here. So, I kept this one and deleted the "lisalater" one. Also, I just wanted to see if there was any more news about Susan. It's frustrating wanting to know, but not being able to be certain of any of the information coming through. Ah well, patience, I guess.
Posted by sassyone on June 05, 2009
Oh got an idea, to break away from all this BGT tour topic but what songs will she put n her debut CD and what do you think it will be titled? Oh and PS I never believed the Demi Moore invite. I hate that she tweets all the time and apparently she thought Diversity deserved the win. I'm not sure if she was really a fan after all. I don't like her much.

Posted by Bobber2 on June 05, 2009
If there is any sane individual among BGT I would suggest they should demonstrate it here and now by hiring a detachment of security around her and yes treat her like a global star...I would say she should not have to fend off personally against press or overzealous citizens or fans say standing in her way causing her stress. Wouldn't it be good to know that certain press /citizens who stand in her way are told in no uncertain terms they're going to have to clear out of the way and spoken by big strong muscular men ? At least for a period of time I think this would be good but of course Susan would have to want this to be the case. :-)
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Amen, Tommy. That's what I've said all along. There are a lot of good singers who can belt out a tune, but Susan doesn't just sing - she DELIVERS it, she SELLS it, she makes you FEEL it. Right from her heart to yours. She is magically charismatic, and goodness shines from her. I have never had a singer affect me the way she does. Just seeing her picture reduces me to tears, not to even mention what your videos do to me. Susan is a gift from God.
Posted by lanija19 on June 05, 2009
Dear Susan, I hope you will be fit soon and we will hear you again, singing from your soul to ours.

Susan is just great! Did she stay second is BGT? She is second to none!
Posted by Scrooge on June 05, 2009
@Sassyone;Demi Moore has no career, she might as well tweet to fill up her time. Liked her in one movie years ago.

I'm sorry, anyone who thinks Susan didn't place first because of her style of singing needs to re-check what happened to the world after her performance of I Dreamed A Dream.... from 1 to 90 fell in love with her, instantly. And they can't even explain it..... I ADORE SUSAN!
•----guess you all know that already------- :)
Posted by MrIscan on June 05, 2009
Personally..and note..this is only my opinion:

-Remember that Susan entered BGT as an amateur....and she still has a lot to learn about the business ..Give her time!

To sing in front of the President would be an honour..yes...but let Susan miss just one right note and the press will be down on her again

Demi Moore is neither here nor there and actually turned her loyalties to Diversity finally...so who cares about that

C'mon ..Give Susan time to find her feet...her main concern now is to make an album in the relative security of a recording studio...this would be a great success and would give her the experience to move forward comfortably and the confidence to know that she is loved when the sales are phenomenal as I believe they will be

As Susan said from the very beginning 'Baby steps' God Bless her.

Again this is only my opinion for what it is worth

Once again....Demi Moore google hits: 10.6 million. Susan Boyle google hits: 23.6 million

Demi is a has-been who tries to stay in the public eye by having spent OODLES of money on plastic surgery (she admitted the $$$ on plastic surgery publicly, not gossip-mongering here.) She's probably decided that Diversity is "hipper" and she has to always be on the bandwagon with whatever the kids are into at the moment. If there were a headline next month that Susan Boyle's CD is the top seller among 18-25 yr olds, you can be sure she'd be backing Susan again.

@Kirsti from Finland: Yes, you really nailed it. I cannot comprehend what this is like for her. It is different from any celebrity who becomes famous - they all have had some sort of "learning curve" - year(s) of small movie roles, or back-up singing...they get into this slowly and even then have difficulty dealing with it. Susan has gone from a quiet, serene, very private life, to sudden mega mega superstardom, in 7 weeks and dealing with all the positives and negatives that come with it. I really cannot imagine how she is coping. Her story is just so amazing. She had no help, no "connection" in the business. Just ALL BY HERSELF, with no help from anyone, just took a chance and put herself out there, and the rest, as they say, is history. Every time I think about it I am gobsmacked all over again.

Do we know if Susan has seen or has any idea of her following? Has she made any comment yet??
Posted by mdillow31 on June 05, 2009
I'm back from my appointment without getting a speeding ticket. LOL!

The posting on Susan's sexuality does not belong on this fan club site. The purpose is to support Susan and not trying to analyze her.

Michelle Obama has denied that Susan was invited to the White House. I think Susan's brother got mixed up on thhe so called invitation.

Annually there is a Washington Press corp event where the President of the US also attends. I watched this event on TV. It is a comedey, Wanda Sykes, the comedian, spoke after Obama. This show is routine every year and is not a formal event. Someone brought up Susan Boyle was brought up and the President made a comment he lied her and mentioned he would like to see her but it was NOT a formal invitation. I think John Boyle took it wrong.

Obama will most likely wait until he sees if Queen Elizabeth does an invitation for Susan because of protocal among the two counties. Since Susan is British I would think Obama would waiiand see what the Queen does or doesn't do. Thus far Michelle Obama has said the invitation is NOT true. But, I would think she will get a formal invitation sometime in the future with White House stationary with the President of the United States on it as a formal invitation. I received one for the inaugration although I couldn't go. But that is how it works. Not a Washington Press Club comedy show.

TXNoelle, your Wanda Sykes was on that show giving her comedy routine after Obama gave his. Your going to have to join the Washington Press Corp to see yur Wanda Sykes in person. LOL !!

I think it was a nice item, nothing trashy, it shows her perform, some pictures of the tabloids and people in Blackburn a few people talking about Susan. The pubowner is nice. Only one man who was a bit negative. Then a short interview with Gerry Boyle. It has subtitles when English is spoken.

Nature shows us his grace to you, we would not cut the flower, leave it, just listen and hear it is beautiful, as we would not cut it because it will wither ... the beautiful flower that we would leave in their fields, to grow as beautiful and lovely nature brought into this world. Greetings beautiful princess glass greetings Susan Boyle, God bless you forever, from here, from Patagonia, from penetrating the ice to the bones for you, the most beautiful flower.

SPANISH.

@TommyUSA we know!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

I love thee to the level of every day's

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for right;

I love thee purely, as they turn from praise,

I love thee with the passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints -I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life! -and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

Posted by Wild Ol' Dan on June 05, 2009
Howdy Lonnirose,

Well, truth is, we have heard nothing that would lead us to believe that Susan will not be a part of those important tours. There was a great deal of speculation going on that Susan would be in the hospital for months then simply go back to Scotland and be forgotten in time...

The truth of that is, she only needed a little rest. She got it. And she was released from the Hospital on Wednesday...after that rest. There was no further reason to keep her there. None whatsoever.

Susan is not weak. She is not fragile. She wants to know if her dream will continue. There will be no greater proof of that than sell out crouds on those tours ...and I totally agree with you, more than 80% of every audience will be coming to hear Susan sing live and in person.

She needs the stage experience. Everyone knows that. Gigantic, spectacular, fantastic, incredible things are ahead of her. The more confidence she develops through experience the better. And, make no mistake those standing ovations, will be the wind beneath her wings...

I believe she wants, with all her heart, to be on that tour. I have heard of no conflicts whatsoever between the acts on that show...indeed, it appears to me that they are friends. Susan will want to perform with her friends...and will soon be filling theaters and arenas on her own.

Susan believes in her dreams. And she knows what direction she needs to go...if I were in Great Britain right now...I'd be buyin' a seat as close to the stage as I could get to cheer on the wonderful lady who captured the hearts of the entire world.

Have Faith...Susan Boyle will be there. Taint nuthin' that could keep her away from reachin' for her dreams...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Wild Ol' Dan

Gerry Boyle said in a TV interview that Susan needs to come home and have a spot of tea and see Pebbles. Simon has said he will get Susan's career and CD started whenever she says she is ready to start. I think Susan will know and tell Simon when she is ready. When she does, the world better watch out because she is not fragile with all of the stuff she has endured most of her life and will knock everyone off their feet with that wonderful voice.

I hope Simon will protect Susan also from the Hollywood leaches since many would like to hang on to Susan's coat tails.

All three were very good, but I Dreamed A Dream was the best. I think it touches a lot of us who have also Dreamed a Dream that has not come true. I love the way Susan looked in the Semi-Final. The color of the dress and her hair and makeup were just so beatiful. The dress matched her hair and make her look so elegant. Lovely. I liked the last gown, also, but the other one suited her better. She is such a lovely lady.

To Happy. Well said about what Susan has to work on regarding behavior and being in public view.

To Dan. There's no question that Susan is a strong woman, but she needs more rest and time out than she's getting. I would have been pleased if she stayed in the clinic a longer time for her personal well being. She will have time for crowds and personal appearances on her own terms later.

You are focusing on the benefits of her performance time and applause, but that's only for a few hours. The rest of the time is changing hotels, traveling, eating in new places, being with people who have other interests etc., standing around for rehearsals, lights, sound, and cameras in new venues. As I said earlier, if she's given the special treatment she would need to avoid problems, resentment will set in as the rest of the tour group faces exhaustion. Those are grueling events no matter how happy you are about it - and Susan is no filly.

Furthermore you can expect the media will be like cockroaches trying to get every tidbit, buying off people to get inside info. I would rather have her energies going into living comfortably and safely in London except for trips to the recording studio.

Tommy, lonnirose, it is indeed true that there is something about Susan that puts her in a class all by herself, one that is far above others. It is really hard to describe, you can say she is charismatic, you can say she puts into the song herself and all she knows of life and the deep insight into human feeling she has, and all of that is true, but somehow still doesn't say what satisfactorily explain the phenomenon that is Susan. I only know that she is not like anyone else I've ever heard or heard of.

But no one has to understand or be able to explain it to be touched by it. We can only say that when Susan sings, something reaches out to the listeners and touches the divine in us, or, excuse my extravagance, what comes to us from her somehow creates a connection between her and us and the Ultimate.

Anyway, that's how I feel

And you know it worries me that yes, Simon is very experienced in handling entertainers and forwarding their careers. But he has no experience in handling someone anything like Susan. No one does since there hasn't been anyone like her before. I have racked my memories but can't think of even hearing of anyone like this. Do you think even the Jersey Lily had an effect quite like this?

@TommyUSA -- I just happened to think about the CD you mailed to Susan. Do you think it arrived before she left the Priory? If not, I hope they get it to her & that someone with her can play it for her! You are one talented fellow.....ever get to Houston?

That pretty much sums it up, DannyMac....well said. :)

I am a little late to the party today, but want to express my joy at Susan being out of Priory Clinic and in a flat in London. What wonderful news!! Susan, I am one of your most dedicated fans and love you dearly. When I heard you sing your audition for BGT, like most people on the planet Earth, I was completely blown away. I have pre-ordered your first CD whenever you record it. I hope it is true you are coming to America to sing at Washington DC's Fourth of July celebration. You will be welcomed to my country with love and wide open arms will greet you. Can't wait for your career to begin. God Bless you, Susan!

Don't forget DannyMac......that Simon in the finals said heabsolutely adores Susan....I think that was said in sincerity...who knows......I think he will watch out for her and protect her....as unique as she is

Anyway he's gonna make a bob or two out of our Lady Susan Boyle...so he better watch his step

GritsT: Tommy said he mailed it to Blackburn to be safe. TXNoelle: you best practive up you tea brewing, serving, and drinking skills as Susan would likely spit that black gold to never-never-land.

IvoryMist and Tommy, that is one of my very favorite poems from one of my very favorite poets. And it would be perfect for one of your videos.

@GritsT....I mailed it to her home in Blackburn...hopefully she will get a chance to be there before she goes on tour or whatever she is going to do next. And maybe she will get to see it then.

Bobber, right on! I'd like to see someone kick the s*** out of anyone who said or did anything to upset Susan. All big stars have protection. I saw Tom Cruise in Cincinnati once, and he was absolutely surrounded by big guys looking all around just like the SS does for the Prez.

Tommy, that poem says it all - it's how you feel about our girl. I can't say all that because I'm a woman and it might be misunderstood, but I love that girl like she was my own daughter.

Mriscan, what I really was getting out re Simon is that it is a whole different animal to know what to plan with someone of such unique quality as Susan. I don't think you can just cut her career from the same pattern used for everyone else. Not really referring to protecting

Tommy -- I can't imagine that your videos won't bring tears to Susan's eyes.....there is absolutely no way she can view those and not KNOW, clear to her bones, how much she is adored. I get teary eyed just thinking about it..but then I've always been soppily sentimental!

just got home from "werk - a four letter wurd" and listened to Susan's audition for the XXth time. her lilting speaking voice and wry sense of humor bowls me over. her "goin bar huntin wit a switch" stride across that stage tells us something about her determination. She can hang on to a note like no one Ive ever heard.

The Good God gave Susan a magnificent voice, and I thank Him that He gave us ears to hear it.
Posted by DannyMac on June 05, 2009
You know I do think that if it can be done quietly, Susan does need to have some time, even if only briefly, at her home with Pebbles as her brother said. You have to think about the fact that since she went to London, she has been continually away from what she is most familiar with, among new people, and in new places with new experiences happening one after another. I should think that could be a bit disorienting. Touching base at home could be a way to ground yourself a little.

@Allikat- I like that dictionary. Where do I begin?? So many new words to learn! LOL!
Posted by Casey'smom on June 05, 2009
You're right Maigret, all we see is the performance and glory which is the best part and it seems so easy. The travelling, rehearsals, living in a suitcase (not being able to see Peebles for long stretches), make-up, costume fittings, constantly living life under a microscope, ie. no privacy, no downtime, etc. when you're used to a quiet life in a small town would certainly take their toll on here. Hopefully whoever looks after her career and her will plan her career very carefully and protect her from the vultures.

Camera crews were parked out in front of Priority for Godsakes, how insensitive is that!

Dannymac I like your sentiments about Susan. I think Simon is maybe the only one who "gets it". I remember in the Audition he noticed when Susan picked up that she had the audience with her. And his comment that she was a little tiger was right on! He saw that in her. I had never seen him before but I liked the way he was responding that was different than Piers or Amanda. It's as though he went beyond the obvious. I think he respects her talent and her courage and will honor that simply because she is unique. So let's hope for the best.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
I do hope that someone, a family member perhaps, will let us know when Susan gets Tommy's videos and his letter. Wouldn't you love to know her reaction? Or even if they'd correspond with Tommy directly and he could tell us a little bit (some might be private - eh, Tommy?) about what she said. Those have to cheer her up even more than being free of the clinic. I just really don't think Susan realizes how adored she is by so many.

Hi Tommy - you are such a cool dude and a great fan - wanted to say something on this site for ages but could never get thru all the riga-ma-role to sign up - but bingo I'm in baby - with lots of love for Susan. Have so enjoyed all you comments and glad I am not the only one so moved by this little lady from Scotland. She's absolutely hilarious too - all her - Piercy baby little swirls - and all the funny things she says. Adorable. Amazing - my contribution is to pray for her - and of course get my wallet out whenthe time comes. Cheers

I am so relieved to learn Susan has left the clinic and is now resting in London. Although I've never met Susan nor know her whatsoever, her endearing nature makes me feel as though I'm protecting a member of my own family! Susan, you're about to embark on the time of your life and you will blow the entire world into orbit. All you have to do is sing and let those around you take care of the rest. You are already a SUPERSTAR...CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Lonnirose hopes Susan's family members post here and let us know when Susan gets TommyUSA's video. Well, don't hold your breath. Even though this site is purported to be run by members of Susan's family, I see no evidence of that whatsoever. Heck, they didn't even have the decency to post a photo to this site of the FLOWERS funded by us all...supposedly sent to Susan prior to the finals on BGT. A photo of the flowers....a real simple thing to do. Where is the photo? How do we even know the money sent in was used to purchase flowers? Heck, at this point, I'd even be happy to see the RECEIPT for the purchase!

Regarding all the comments about Susan's supposed invitation by Obama to sing in Washington D.C. on July 4th...it's been made quite clear that no such invitation was issued to her, so it would be nice if people would STOP spreading that rumor around. Gosh, it would be nice if this family-run site would squash the rumor themselves...very simple thing to do when you are site Admin. DUH! Also....Susan most likely does not even have a passport and these days, passports can take months to receive, so I don't see her coming to the USA anytime soon.

here is it straight from the Passports Home Office...

Application turnaround times

Application turnaround times vary according to the service you are requesting, but most postal applications are returned within three weeks of receipt. The Identity and Passport Service can also provide a fast-track processing service, for a higher fee, to have applications processed in as little as 48 hours, if you are eligible.

People: I am with Purple Gothic, Bohemian Spirit, and others who believe we should treat Susan's private life as PRIVATE. That is personal for her, and with her Catholic background, stepping over those grounds would probably be embarassing. I sure wouldn't want to embarass Susan. Oh, can you tech wizards open the files of pictures, news articles etc so we can see them without having to figure how to open the files! I know you have file limits but it can be frustrating to miss so much, and pictures are usually a joy. -- I saw you added a lot of little things that made reading easier -- why the font size is now readable! Thanks for those small things!! THE THIRD SONG! Do you remember the video Susan did after she sang "Memory."? She had on her yellow blouse? The video is removed, but it must be accessible somewhere. There may be a third song that goes with that set. She pointed out that each song was a little story in itself, -- Dreams, Memory, and..???..which in itself would also be a little story in itself. and the set of three was also a story in itself. So... BGT talked her out of the third song. Maybe we can get her to sing her third song for us -- acapella maybe. I wonder what it was? Whistle Down the Wind?? Maybe it is a secret for the future.

Having seen today's pictures of Susan's shopping trip, I believe THE NEW DAY HAS BEGUN!!! THANKS BE! CHEERS SUSAN!

@pKoch...I don't need you telling me this is site for fans of Susan's...considering I was here and posting long before you. I am an ardent fan of Susan's and think she has the most lovely singing voice of any female singing today. However, questioning the authenticity of this website, has absolutely nothing to do with my feelings for Susan. Email the admin's on this site? Please do exactly that and report back to us when you hear from them. Perhaps 'Koch' should be changed to 'COCKy'

FOOD FOR THOUGHT -I'm partially quoting from an early article in the Huffington Post written by Letty Cottin Progrebin, the founder of "Miz Magazine" - dedicated to women's issues.

"Why Susan Boyle Makes Us Cry.

"Then, too, we were weeping for the years of wasted talent, the career that wasn't, the time lost - both for Susan Boyle and two generations of her putative fans. If someone with a voice like Jule Andrews' spent decades in a sea of frustration and obscurity, how many other women (and men) must be out there becalmed in the same boat? I believe we were crying for them and for whatever unrealized, yet-to-expressed talent may lie within ourselves."

"I'd wager that most of our joyful tears were fueled by the moral implicit in Susan's fairy-tale performance: "You Can't Tell a book by its cover" For such extraordinary artistry to emerge from a woman that plain-spoken, unglamorous, and unyoung was an intoxicating reminder of the wisdom in that corny old cliche. The three judges and virtually all those who watched Susan Boyle in the theater (and probably on YouTube as well) were initially blinded by entrenched stereotypes of age, class, gender, and Western beauty standards, until her book was opened and everyone saw what was inside."

I think we cried because her story appears to be en route to a happy ending, but also perhaps, for all of the books whose covers have never been cracked."

I printed out the whole article and many times read it before I tuck myself into bed at night.

Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Simon's got plenty of bucks - he'll handle everything for Susan.

Ya'll were talking about intervention. You know who's gonna do mine? The Board of Health if I don't get some cleaning done around here, and my yard looks like a jungle. I get on this fansite first thing in the morning and next thing I know it's almost bedtime and all I've done is bathe and dress. Don't eat much either - well, that's good - maybe I'll lose ten pounds. Big ole dawg's happy 'cause she knows where I am 24/7.

BJG, agreed re Whistle Down the Wind. I have listened to Tina Arena's version on YT numerous times. I can SO hear Susan's voice. Might be that it is not a well known show tune outside the UK. The play didn't do well on Broadway (for some reason I don't recall), but was a smash hit in the UK.

ROUTINE SERVICE As of (Friday June 5, 2009 ), we are processing routine applications in approximately 4-6 weeks from the time of application.

EXPEDITED SERVICE* As of (Friday June 5, 2009 ), we are processing requests for expedited service, that include overnight delivery to and from the Passport Agency, about 2-3 weeks door-to-door.

@Paulie, yes, it does take a long time to obtain a passport from our government. The information I posted above is from the USA government site and is updated to today. THAT is why I made the comments I did in saying it may take Susan some time to get a passport to the USA. The terrorist attacks here on 9/11 let to a massive overhaul of our passport system. As I said, it took me 60 days just to get mine renewed.

From an old post...does anyone remember ALLIKATS old thumbnail?? The woman with the long dk hair in the pic with Susan looks just like ALLI....any comments?? Do you remember ..?? Did Alli get her dream job??? Yeah if she did!!

Hehehe! No--'tisnt' me, lol! I ONLY WISH! Besides--my hair is lots longer now--that pic was taken a year and 8 months ago. Frankly, I doubt I'm up to the job anyhow...am getting a bit old for all the rigours needed. I was dreaming, that's all.

For everyone: after today, and after this blog gets replaced by another one, I'm going to have to close down new additions to the Susaword Dictionary--I'm NEVER going to get caught up on it as it is.

I thought I'd 'publish' an official copy, even if just in whichever blog happens to be up at the time (I'll wait for a brand-new one and put it as near the top as possible), but make it Edition One and date it. Everyone who wants a copy can c&p it to 'wherever' and then 'save' it or print it out. That way, a Second Edition could always come out later; it'd be as 'legit' as we could make it, I believe.

The Susaword Dictionary is not a novel idea. I did get the idea from a list 'published' by the Glamberts on an Adam Lambert fan site. I just never could be there enough to learn the words! But I got the idea, from that.

I'm still not all that keen on sending anything 'framed' or 'frameable' to Susan herself--it's going to be too unwieldy. And the notion of having it 'professionally bound'--do you KNOW what it costs to do that? Geez--I'd rather print out some pages and put together some simple kind of little booklet thing! Something which maybe COULD be sent from right here where I live. I just need some ideas about how to put the pages into a book format. Something smaller than the standard computer paper size of 8 1/2 x 11 inches.

It is SOOO easy for others to just tell me 'go do it' and SOOO hard for me to figure out how. I am not going to spend a lot of money on it, either, because I can't! WE don't even know if the thing will get there, or if Susan will ever see it.

I wondered about using different colours, and a fancy font, to do it? But keep it kinda simple? I CAN print off pages one by one, on regular size paper--costs me about 25 cents per page to do it, but I think I could Boyle it all down to 20 pages or less. It is VERY hard for me to actually DO it though. I have Open Office but never learned how to use the features. Which is why I'm wondering if there isn't SOMEone out there who might be able to do the actual printing...or somewhere I can take the list here where I live to have some very fancy pages printed out? Pages I could then put into the nicest binder I can find, to send? IF I can get a 'real' address to even send it to...that is the biggie.

I wonder what it'd cost to have the pages run off somewhere that could do it on smaller paper? I don't have that capability, with my old printer. I guess I could ask around town; I just need to know what to ask for I think.

This entire thing is making me really nervous as I have NO idea what I'm even getting into, now. Pretty soon, I'M gonna be the one who needs a few days off at that Priory Clinic. And I don't have a 'Simon' to pay for it, either.

@TXNoelle, what have I done to deserve these names?

I'm feeling a little like Susan must have?

Bjg And Jane, I listened the whistle down sung by susan. She was definately going to sing in for the final. It shows her sweet spirit and sings it without music. I went to google and typed in susan boyle's whislte down. It came up just fine and you will need to scroll down the the 4th or 5th one down. She voice is so good, ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we all agree that Susan not actually winning BGT doesn't really make any difference to her future. But, it's bugging me. The best way I can describe it is that I read all the way through a book to find the last page missing. Problem is, in this case, that last page doesn't exist. I will always believe that something wasn't right last Saturday night. Maybe one day it will all come to light.
Posted by songbirdfan on June 05, 2009
@zan: Have you checked out that article? It's about the man who started this site.
Posted by camisu11 on June 05, 2009
Just teasing believe me but I cannot believe the Boylemania, I thought I had it bad but I am lost in the distance. And I love you all for it!!! What is the trick to keep up with all these messages, man Susan has no idea how many friends love her!

Really glad to hear the Susan is back on the way up and is feeling well. I would just like to say it is nice to come to this site and read intelligent comments and not the hostile filth that I have seen on some of the You Tube sites although I still have to have my fix and still visit! I mainly go to the Britain Has Talent her first audition where we are winning the battle against the trolls by "red thumbing" them as soon as the enter a disgusting comment. It just maybe they are beginning to give up on that site although I see them on others but now do not visit these often. Anyway hopefully it won't be long until we hear from Susan again.

With a photo of happy Lady Susan leaving Priory.

Susan Boyle leaves Priory 'much happier' http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/susan-boyle/5450421/Susan-Boyle-leaves-Priory-much-happier.html

Ohmygosh--SUSAN LOOKS FANTASTIC in those new photos! Certainly this is the happiest and most rested she's appeared in weeks! (Doing the Susadance, here, or Susajig, or Swiggle, whichever you prefer to call my own little 'happydance'.)

I am not pimping for Tina Arena, trust me. But all Susan fans should check out Whistle Down the Wind...Susan would rock this one. She has the voice for it I get chills imagining Susan singing.....and we know, she is longing to sing this tune.

sent a personal mail to JC with my fear that "the tail was in danger of wagging the dog" here ......please remember that we exist because of our adoration for Susan not our own personal agendas.

Video just uploaded this site. It's a 9 minutes 20 seconds video. I stopped when Ivo Niehe started talking about Stavros Flatley. Quality is reasonable if you keep the video not too large on your screen. I booed when this guy in the pub found other candidates in the show better than Susan. At the end a short interview with Gerry Boyle.

Susan, I hope you realize the thousands, perhaps millions of people that you have empowered. We "had a dream" too but lacked the balls and where-with-all to realize it. Please be very, very proud of what you have done. Kisses from Canada

New article just appeared. She must already be on Simon's payroll, spending £349 on a new pair of trousers:

To all those I have emailed about Susan's party, I see that Noelle has already contacted you so no need to contact me.

I'm so happy that she is doing well and knows that her dream is alive. Just hope that Pebbles is with her in her new flat, Although I think her and Pebbles would be better off at home by far (having been a cat Mom in the past, they do not like any change in their territory, it is very upsetting to them), I can appreciate somewhat Simon putting her up in an apartment in London that is "safe", I also suspect he is looking after his newest "cash cow", just a term folks, not to that I think that of our darling Susan.

What wonderful news! Our beloved Susan is out of the clinic!!! She, of course, will go on tour! This is her dream - to be a professional singer, and I do agree 100% with Wild Ol'Dan, that she needs to perform onstage, that the best thing to cheer her up is standing ovation! I am a professional musician, and I know, that it is impossible to live without performing onstage, once you started to do it.

I wish our darling Susan the most brillian success in her singing career, which will be glorious, she has everything for it - incredibly beautiful voice, great musicality, great personality.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!1 LIVE IN CONCERT!!!!!!!! ON THE FORST LEG OF HER AMERICAN TOUR!!!!! S U S A N B O Y L E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BRITISH SENSATION!!!!!
Posted by ALALUZ on June 05, 2009

David, is that the one that says Susan comments on it? If so, it's bogus. Susan has no computer.

dmichael: That's great. I live in a very small town, so I know she'll never come here. But if she comes within 100 miles I'll be there.
Posted by NancyUSA on June 05, 2009
YourAwesome--I thought that CHEEEESE was the subtle word to chill out around here, and "be happy".
Posted by Lonnirose on June 05, 2009
Uh, if ya'll change the format, please don't make it too complicated to access - remember, I'm computer challenged. If I couldn't get on this site, I would have to be sedated.

I'd love to see Susan on Craig Ferguson's talk show. Can you imagine those 2 cheeky Scots together?
Posted by david on June 05, 2009
@Lonnirose....it's not the one that says comments from her and I'm in no way trying to stir things up and inform her loyal fan base hear to be aware that there are those still out there that are trying to capitalize on Susan and ripple the waters of her true fan base.....until I am educated otherwise I am remaining loyal to the fan base 22,000 strong right here.
