Susan is nothing short of sensational! The whole world has fallen in love with her, even here in New Zealand. I've never been so moved by anybody's singing before. It brought tears to my eyes. It's quite hard to find enough superlatives to describe her talent, but having waited so long for recognition she deserves to go far and I'm quite sure she will. I can't wait to buy her first CD!

Susan, you were magnificent. Like many others you brought tears to my eyes. Have watched your performance many times and will be first in line to buy the 1st of many of your CD's. From the land of Oz, congratulations.

Take time to watch the 7 minute version of the video. When Susan is backstage, there is a point when Susan is taking it all in after her performance. Her true beauty shines at this moment. It's in her face and in her smile. Beautiful inside and out! Not to mention that her voice is angelic but we all know that!

I have viewed the video of the show many times and each time puts a tear in my eyes and a chill up my back.

Susan, you did three things that no one else has done, You lived your dream, you showed the rest of us that you cannot judge a book by its cover, you brought million upon millions of people worldwide together with a tear in our eyes.

Wishing you all the best and a BIG thank you for living your dream that introduced you to the world.

What a wonderful life lesson. As the old saying goes, "never judge a book by its cover," holds true with Susan Boyle. I got chills watching the reaction of the audience, coupled with my own amazement. If anyone deserves to sing for the Queen, Ms. Boyle is the most deserving, not only for her talent, but for unwittingly teaching us never to underestimate anyone, and inspiring those who feel the time has passed to realize their own dreams.

I saw this lady come to the stage and then I saw her nervously speaking to the judges and making silly jokes I was so sure that it was going to be horrible performance. It had all the signs of something very embarrsing about to happen. As soon as the first few notes came out I was so much in shock with her voice, such a beautiful voice. Normally I would not listen to this type of music but her voice was amazingly beautiful. Even now when I play it back in youtube she brings tears to my eyes. I hope she makes a CD, I will run and buy it immediately. She was an undicovered jewel in the heart of Scotland, now that she is discovered I hope she shines brightly and that not silly producer changes her- she is perfect as she is!. ... I forgot, I live in Bulgaria.

After reading several hundred postings from Susan's fans on this and other sites I was surprised to see how many people were emotionally depressed in their life, perhaps to the point of giving up, until they saw Susan's video...now they are filled with hope and can't wait for tomorrow. I wonder how many lives she has saved already? I felt something as soon as she sang the first line. Be honest...you felt it too. Everybody felt it. I wouldn't be surprised if we are witnessing a miracle sent from above in the form of an Angel. Susan Boyle will have a place in our future history books.

You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your gift with us around the world. I can't wait for an album, and I thank you for being a beacon of light and of hope to all of us struggling with such depressing news in our lives and of the world. God has sent you to us for a reason-that dreams can come true, it only given the opportunity. And by the way, I have been kissed but have never had a boyfriend either, and I'm 37! Huge hugs from a fan across the pond in the US.

Hell I don't care much for American Idol or any of it's counterparts..(Except watching Simon cringe at the howling coyotes he must endure during audition..lol) But I gotta say this--I LOVE this woman!! At last I see someone I can relate to!! Yes, when I saw her sing, tears were flowing...She wasn't singing anything sad--it was just watching a perfectly ordinary woman pouring all her heart and soul and passion into the song!! Then she had the class to blow a kiss at the audience and walk off the stage--they had to call her back..lol. Susan is such a rare individual...She's got a dynamite personality and a voice to go with it...Oh..btw...shes a REAL person!! Good luck Susan and I hope you win..And if for some reason you don't--know that, at least for a minute, you took our minds off of our troubles and the troubles of the world..that's a rare gift you have...Happiness is so hard to come by right now!!

What a wonder it was to see the smerks vanish at the belting out of the first two notes. There is a lesson to be learned from this, and that is: never but never make fun of anyone. I can't stand smerkers. This lady should go far, I would like to know what her next selection will be. I bet she will perform it just as wonderful.

I just watched Susan live on Good Morning America. The bright lights were in her eyes, but she, again, did Scotland proud as she same part of "I Dreamed a Dream" on the spur of the moment and without accompaniment. She had a new hair style and was wearing makeup---but her sweet spirit still shone through. Susan, please do not let changing your appearance change who you are. Just strive to be the best you can be--not someone you are not. You are wonderful just he way you are. Blessings.

What a great revelation.

at first , everybody was laughing. but then ,,, the duck turned into a swan...

This proves again that what our eyes see are often lies. Eyes are the biggest liars. I think everybody had the opportunity to look at you with the eyes of the heart.

Susan Boyle , I hope to hear you sing again. you have touched my heart , and put some soft tears in my eyes.

You dream of becoming a professional singer .... I think you have the voice to become one. And i hope you will not change personality. You are a very simple a sympathic person... kind of funny.

big hug to you Susan Boyle !!!!

Susan, what can I say that hasn't already been said. I cried when I heard you, I phoned Vancouver, Britain etc. What I would love most of all. is the two women who rolled their eyes on national TV to come forward and apologize for their actions. I know that when I walk into a room people judge me before knowing who I am, but you my dear have made history why? You are not ugly, you are not over weight? so why do people treat you differently? Because you are not fake, you my dear are the real thing, and people have a hard time dealing with that. Thank you Susan, you have made the average person feel like a somebody. Your Mum is looking down on you and is so proud and probab;y wondering why you left it for so long. You go girl, we all love you. Geraldine.

Greetings from Ohio USA! I don’t even watch American Idol over here, or any of those shows looking for “talent”. Even after 36 yrs as a dancer & dance teacher, these shows just grate on my nerves. BUT…..you, Susan, made me CRY when my husband found this clip on You Tube! Such a powerful, confident performance! I have a former student who *is* on Broadway, & who *was* in the recent B’way revival of Les Miz….& all I can say is that your voice & presence is equal to hers! No matter what happens in your future, you have lifted *my* spirit, & for that, I THANK YOU w/ all my heart!!! Much love to you always!

Watching the audience as you were talking with Simon was so disappointing..........Then you started singing.......I couldn't believe my ears. How beautiful, what a pleasure, and the song was perfect. Can't wait to hear more. Sometimes we allow God to leed. We should always allow him to leed. God Bless you everyday of your life and may it be full of Joy.

I honestly have to say that I was among the people that laughed when I seen Susan walk onto the stage. I really thought that she was going to be one of those people who thought she could sing but didnt have a note in her body. But when she opened her mouth and started to sing I Dreamed a Dream I was like WOW she can actually sing and is very good at it. Susan you brought tears to my eyes as I listened to you sing...You have a wonderful voice..I can't wait to hear some more of you. I hope all your dreams do come Susan!! Congratulations. I also want to apoligize to you for laughing at you . I will be rooting for you all the way!! You go girl. Jessica from Newfoundland.

Wow! I was absolutely blown away. We have sat at the computer and played her song over and over and over. Can't get enough of it. My message to Susan Boyle is this, you have an amazing voice there. Hold your head high and keep right on singing. I was so angry when she walked out on the stage and you could see the negative responsive from the judges and the audience. Then she opened her mouth and belted out the most beautiful song. I loved the looks of disbelief on all their faces. She showed them good. Hooray for you. You my friend will go far. My very best wishes go out to you. Thanks for the privilege of listening and enjoying that beautiful voice. Best Wishes, Angel

As I watch your live performance this morning, I cried again. Every time you are on the news I cry....Your voice is most definately HEAVEN sent!! Although I can't speak for other Christians in the world, I believe whole-heartedly that HE put you on this earth for more than one reason. I know that you went meant to share your beautiful voice and talents, but more than even that, to make each of us realize how horrible we have become in judging a person from first glance, rather than knowing the true person inside and the gifts, talents and beauty that may not always be visible. So, Susan, I want to thank you for making me wake up and allowing to see that the "TRUE BEAUTY" that you exhibit will last with me for a lifetime!! Best of luck in all your endeavors and I only hope that this will not be the last of the most beautiful voice I have ever heard...

I am delighted that Susan busted a stereotype, but I am not surprised. She is very much like the women folk I grew up with in the Northeast of England, down to earth, pragmatic, self effacing and full of hidden talents. Susan's inner beauty I am sure has always shone out to those who took the time to see it but now it is wonderful to see it being appreciated without prejudice, and that we have a chance to enjoy it. All the best from a Geordie lass in Yellow Springs, Ohio

Your performance was stunning. I must say that people like to judge by outward appearances. I was watching the judges reaction to you and the audience. They dismissed you because of your looks and age. You were there to sing yet they made a judgement based on looks not on your talent. Believe me I know those looks too. I also noticed the reactions when you started to sing, the whole deemnor changed they saw you in a different light. How sad that the first reaction was even was based on biased way of thinking.

Your performance was again stunning I was crying when I heard you sing, God Bless. Bravo on so many levels!!!!

By far the most inspiring performance from a sensational talent who has shown us that talent can go hand in hand with humility and down to earth humor. I can hardly wait to see and hear her next performance and I am ready to buy a CD if one becomes available. Susan, you are simply AWSOME!

This is what the whole world has been waiting for - A light to all! If anyone can get a message to Susan Personally she must sing " Someone Like You " from Jekyll and Hyde The Musical as the Lyrics are so pertinent to her life! Make the whole world cry with you! May this journey last forever x

She is adorable, I think she should sing at the Olympics in Great Britain and she should get a record contract. It was a wonderful thing to hear her sing and see the reactions of everyone. Who cares what she looks like, that's the problem with society today, we're too into who's beautiful, who's thin, who's this, who's that. It's what's inside that's important.

In a world of vicious pirates, hard core autocrats and drug crazed Cartels, Susan reminds us of what God crated us to be. I am a Viet Nam era Navy Carrier pilot, pragmatic engineer and in my spare time drive a race car. In the backround of all the preceeding, your performance brings tears to my eyes every time I watch. Maybe it's the dream we all secretly have. Maybe it's the fact we all root for the underdog. With all of my accomplishments I yearn for the simple life you have led and the gift you bring to this world. Please share more of it with us. You are a treasure to the human race.

How many tears must have flowed watching that magnificent performance! You said you'd make the audience rock and you did more than that Susan, you lifted the roof off that theatre and put yourself in the hearts of many round the world. You go get exactly what you want, for the world is your oyster. Well deserved.. and I look forward to buying your first CD.

I sent the following e-mail to two friends I carpool with in Los Angeles: "Did either of you see the video clip on the news last night about "Britains' Got Talent" - Susan Boyle? There's a video clip on YouTube.com for 7 minutes and 31 seconds that is exordinary. The clip was on all the national news stations last night (partially at least) and is so worth the time to watch it - inspirational, hopeful, funny, charming, emotional and heart-filling."

I first heard about Susan on a news broadcast here in the States on Tuesday evening. I immediately went to the show's link and watched Susan. I'm a 63 year old male and love the music from Les Miserables. Susan brought tears to my eyes. What a WONDERFUL voice. I got my wife to the computer and we watcher her over and over again. This wonderful lady belongs on Broadway. And her humility is so very refreshing. I'm so happy that she "Dreamed a Dream," and I sincerely PRAY that her dream will become a reality. She is a real inspiration. God bless her.

Can anyone understand the phenomenon? I think I do understand it. Susan is like you, me, and the vast majority of the people on the planet. We are unknown, simple, and do not fit the Botox Plastic images of the beautiful people. We accept beauty based on what we are told is beauty. Then every rare once and a great while true beauty shocks our accepted complacent minds into exactly what true beauty is. Susan didn't sing to win. That was obvious. There wasn't a bit of "It's all about me." Susan sang with the joy of singing. That was clear. We are drawn to her because of that pure sweet innocence. I hope nothing changes about her, because she gave me hope for humanity. If the world makes her a Botox Plastic person she will lose that innocence and will alter her true beauty and talent. The phenomenon as I understand it is: Susan is us. To quote the last line of this Les Miserables classic is "Now life has killed the dream I dreamed." If you change Susan in any form, you have killed the dream all of us dream.

Oh how wonderful. Its not just that her voice is so beautiful, its the whole way such an ordinary woman put the likes of Simon and co. in their place. She is a woman of true beauty, the kind which is so lacking in the so called stars people idolize. The reaction to her voice showed there is hope for humanity as all the contempt for her physical appearance was blown away the moment she opened her mouth.

Susan you have achieved two things with that explosive and fabulous performance - both of them enormously important. 1 - NEVER judge a book by it's cover, and 2) it's never to late to jump for the brass ring. I so enjoyed your performance - I have never watched the show before but trust me, I'll be watching now. If there is voting involved, I will be pushing the button as often as possible. Keep singing, I expect to see you name in lights soon.

I fell asleep last night at about 1:30, had to force myself. After listening to Susan Boyle maybe about 5 times, looking for her name all over the interenet to see, what else I could find. Susan I am a little saddened that it is now you are coming out, we could have been enjoying your beautiful voice for years now. Well all I have to say is I don't think you even need this competition, someone should sign you up right now! Because If not, I will have to wait until after the competition to get a CD from you. You have been hiding from us and I don't think we should be denied any longer.

Susan Boyle’s transformation on stage reminds me of a little story I heard many times during my childhood years. “The Ugly Duckling”. Susan was, indeed, the ugly duckling during the stage interview prior to singing. We all had a good laugh at this pitiful woman hoping to be a pretty swan among all the other beautiful swans that were present. But when she opened her mouth to sing, the transformation was instantaneous and absolutely beautiful and captivating. She, in a instant, became that “beautiful swan” receiving the kind of public attention and love most of us will never know. I too have listened to Susan’s video many times with a full heart and tears in my eyes. I suppose there’s a touch of the ugly duckling in most of us, and we, to some degree long for that transformation we witnessed on that stage. Susan, you are a ray of hope for those of us who hope there is something as beautiful within our own lives. We admire your courage for stepping out on that stage and love you for the beauty and passion in your voice.

You are such an inspiration and a blessing to the world. You are headed to the ranks of superstardom and I'll be first in line to buy your music. God love ya!

Susan your voice woke my heart and moved my soul!!! I am just sad that it took so long for the world to get to see such an absolutely genuinely beautiful person sing. You voice shows the true beauty of your kind and generous soul. I hope to hear more music from you and soon.

I nearly cried listening to you sing it was so moving and I haven't cried in 25 years.

Welcome to fame, we are glad to have you!

SUSAN has captured so many, many hearts and spirits. Like many others, the well in my eyes flowed. Her most enchanting voice and effortless singing have filled my spirit. Thank you so much.

I look forward to hearing you sing again, Susan. Together with your song, you've brought so many wonders in life : that a book's cover need not be made of fancy features to be beautiful -- for it can be simple yet captivating -- just like you are: simple yet very beautiful to my eyes. Mind you, I loved your eyes' sparkle, your smiles and gentle and humorous pre-performance brief interview with the 3 judges.

And then ... I loved your voice that flew to the air like an eagle, with much beauty, enchantment, and power.

All my best wishes to you, Susan.

Love from Western Australia Elmie

Susan you are an inspiration!! People need to start to realize that it is not just the "beautiful" people in the world who are capable of achieving something great! Our society is so full of shallow, vain people and you were like a breath of fresh air when you stepped onto that stage! You are a warm, kindhearted person with a VERY big heart and an even larger voice! I hope you now get the chance to show this world what you are capable of. You have touched a lot of peoples hearts and I am sure you will touch thousands more! Enjoy every step of the way and I am sure there will be loads of people supporting you!!!!

I can tell you that I am hard pressed to capture the attention of my 17 & 20 year old sons and my husband with music (unless of course it is rock or the theme from Hockey Night in Canada)! Yet, Susan, you have accomplished this in 3 minutes time. How blessed we are that you have graciously shared your gift with the world. I have raised my children to know that we are each born into this world with a gift. Some have the gift of leadership, some athleticism, some are logical thinkers, some are nurturers, some have beauty, some are social, some have physical strength, some are builders, and some... speak everyone's language with their voice in song. Thank you, Susan. Thank you. Your voice has reached around the world (all the way to Windsor, Ontario, Canada) tearing the eyes, lifting the hearts and replacing furrowed brows into the softened smiles of tens of millions who need to reminded that sharing our gifts with each other makes the world a better place.

I can imagine some time in the future, someone will be asked... "What is your dream?" And the answer will be, "To be a professional singer. Maybe like Susan Boyle, or someone like that." As you move forward through this amazing journey on which you have embarked, I pray for guidance and wisdom for you, and that a guardian angel be at your side.

GOBSMACKED ;-) in Windsor, Ontario, Canada Most sincerely, Jocelyne Brent

One more comment about Susan--why on earth did everyone think she wouldn't be good? Not everyone needs to fit into the Brittany Spears ideal of what a singer should look like! We should applaud beauty in all its forms, and a woman like Susan is a great example of that. You ARE beautiful Susan, don't ever forget that! Your dress was lovely and your face is that of someone with great beauty. God Speed!

I used to laugh at people that went to You Tube to watch videos. I was never one of them. As a professional business woman, with a large company to run, I have enough to do to keep me busy.... well, Susan Boyle has changed all that. I have seen her video at least 10 times and have emailed 100's which is something I have also never done. Well done!
May God continue to bless you, Susan Boyle! "1 Corinthians 1:26-29...For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence."

A voice that rivals the diva's of a classical time. Julie Andrews has nothing on you! Just to hear you sing re-awakens a respect and memory of the most powerful voices in music history. Disney would be crazy not to offer you a contract for their timeless work, to preserve that voice in history and again honor the music their movies were known for. You are a true gift to music! How do I say this....Susan, life for me since 2005 has been horrible. Since I lost my son, which was five years ago, it seems day by day it's getting worse. This lack of enthusiasm, depression, absolutely no confidence that I can be what I once was before his passing, before I let my life fall apart. Then I happened to catch your name on the morning news shows and with nothing else to do I decided to search youtube and saw your performance.

Susan, I cried this morning for the first time in five years. Indeed. I have been a living shell of a person, barely existing, wanting to go, but your voice, your performance, your drive and ambition has kindled something in me I long thought gone. Thank you dear Susan, you are an angel truly.

Dear Susan, I was blessed to have been able to see your performance on Youtube; thank you so much...your courage is an inspiration to all of us who are a little older and reaching for our dreams. Please protect that special essence of who you are, your sweetness and humility. I mean that from my heart, as I have some Boyle blood in my veins as well! Some day, it would be my honor to hear you sing in the US, but will be waiting for that special song on CD soon. In that performance, your heart crossed oceans and we were able to be there, with you. Be yourself. May the God of heaven bless you and watch over you. Love from the USA heartland.

I must say, definitely, that I haven't heard such a beautiful and breathtaking voice for decades. Susan, you are simply stunning, amazing, fantastic. We discovered you in Israel tonight, despite of the difficult situation over here, your outstanding performance made the big titles on TV.

Thank you so much, Susan. Even if I didn't really need it, you are now for me another reason to love firmly and deeply Scotland and scottish people.

Please go on singing, record discs and performances. God bless you.

Oh Susan, you are such a treasure! Thank you so much for auditioning, as now the world can appreciate your beautiful voice and cheeky humor! Let's not forget that the voice is also 'only one side of her'. When you produce your first album, whatever style it may be I will be lined up to buy it from the record store and I have not wanted to do that for years. You are worthy of the utmost success in your singing, and judging from the MILLIONS of fans you already have worldwide you are finally well on your way towards success that will rival Elaine Paige's. Thanks again from your fans in Canada!

She is truly one this world's beautiful, talented and special people. Way to go Susan.

Good Luck to you, not that you need it any more. With all the bad news we read and watch it's wonderful to listen to you and watch your story unfolding. Enjoy and stay yourself. You are a Star. Michelle from Holland.

I've never joined a fan club, never seen Britain's Got Talent nor American Idol, and in fact have never even owned a television. However, the internet is so inundated with your performance that I could no longer ignore it and had to watch it.

You are nothing short of stunning in every sense of the word, Miss Susan Boyle! You've turned the entire world on it's head...I'm sure your mother is swelling with pride from above and tearier than the rest of us.

And darnit, I can't believe anyone was actually able to provoke me into not only watching the show, but joining a fan club as well. Next thing you know you'll have me buying my first tv at the age of 40!

All the best from Ypsilanti, Michigan! :~)

The media across the pond has been flooding the airwaves with the performance of Britain's Susan Boyles from Scotland. I know now that there are angels that sing their songs on earth!

I am not a man that is given to emotion, but a tear truly came to my eye when I saw the performance.

Here in America, Simon Cowell judges "American Idol" and is often very condecending and frequently pre-judges contestants based on their appearance. I truly enjoyed watching Mr. Cowell facial expression change dramatically as he had a large helping of crow...

Bless you, our cousins across the pond, for giving the world Susan Boyles... (and a momment of humility to Simon)

Heartwarming? I cried, like many, through most of it. Sending best wishes for the next round Susan!

I love Susan Boyle. My ears and heart are now only for her. Every other singer on this planet sounds like cat howls in comparison, including Elaine Paige’s voice. But I am really disgusted in Demi Mooreless and Ass-ton Kutcher trying to parasite off of Susan’s fame. It’s so pathetic; why does anyone give a crap about what these self obsessed jerks think or how it makes them “cry”. Susan Boyle is better than them, and above them, she doesn’t need their approval. Everyone should be insulted that they are trying to leach from the sensation of Susan Boyle’s historical moment and untouchable talent. Demi and Ass-ton should be crying in shame of themselves, and hold their heads down in the presence of Susan Boyle’s name. I really wish someone would take the photos of their ugly twitter faces off of Susan Boyle’s beautiful fan site.

Susan Boyle is my new favorite person. I've never been so inspired. The tears just keep coming. This is the first fan club I've ever joined and I'm 45 years old. But Susan has given me new hope. It was so disheartening wathcing those people jeer at her. She showed them. I will buy every CD this woman records. I love her voice, her poise and her strength of character. So wonderful to see how many people this women is touching in our cynical world. She has certainly done her part of open people's hearts. God bless her

Susan, don't change a thing about yourself, not a hair on your head. You are perfect just the way you are. People expected nothing good from the mouth of Paul Potts either and he also knocked Simon's socks off. I own about 5 CD's.Never buy them. But you will be an exception. Godspeed on your new journey! I have seen the show in London, New York, and Boston with the original cast twice. "I dreamed a Dream" is a death sentence for most female vocalists. The range required is breathtaking and awe inspiring. I agree with Amanda Holden. Susan Boyle blows Elaine Paige away on this song and that is something I do not say lightly since Elaine page is an immense talent. Most singers must say the words in the low range because they cannot get there and then reach the high range required multiple times. Susan Boyle blew through those difficulties like the very few singers alive that can truly sing this song. There is a reason few dare sing this song. It is damn hard to do right. In American terms she hit a grand slam. I like most thought she was some fumbling boob they were going to allow make a fool out of herself like so many "reality" shows are want to do here in the states. We seem to enjoy watching folk make fools of themselves it seems. An ex-boyfriend is a Broadway critic and he has sent me 12 emails about her screaming why isn't there talent like this on Broadway any longer. My answer would be that hopefully she will get that chance some day. I for one would be first in line for the joy of listening to her. For those cynics about her voice it is pitch perfect and listen to her CBS singing in a dead room with no background music. Just as breath taking. Bravo!!!!

Thank you, Susan.

I think the reason that you have touched so many people is two-fold. There are many people in the world that have genuine, God-given talent when it comes to singing (and there is no question that you have an incredible abundance of such talent!), but the number of people who possess such talent and yet are still kind, polite, good-hearted people with genuine humility are, sadly, an increasing rarity in our world today. You make all of us long for a world wherein the quality of a person's character is as pure as any talent or skill that that person might possess.

Your beautiful voice fills me with joy and happiness. Thank you so very much for sharing your music - and your personality - with a world that is very much in need of hope and happiness.

Why are people so moved by Susan? well, we are tired of perfect beauty and of no-talent celebries. What on earth do the Paris Hiltons of this world contribute to our lives? We also think of all those talented people too shy to try the limeligth because of their looks. Let the average-looking of the worlds come out!!!!!Susan was so innocent, she did not even know that she was "not supposed" to sing in public or try to be famous. We cry for the plain-looking pushed back into obscurity. We are moved by her innocence. It is time to change this. Let everyone with talent come out of the woodwork regardless of their looks Tear down frivolous standards of appearance. And let us keep Susan the way she is, and never change her. Our message from this website and to the agents and promoters going her way: Susan NEVER CHANGE.

Dear Susan, thank you. I have always wondered how the angels in heaven would sound and now I know. You are up there with the likes of Nana Mouskouri and Celine Dion. Set your goals high for you have the talent to make them come true - but above all else always be true to yourself first. May God grant you every wish and fulfill your dreams to the upmost. You are a darling and a fantastic ambassador for Great Britain and especially Scotland. I have visited your country a few times in my military career and have fond memories of gracious people. My Wife and I wish you all the best. Thank you again for being you.

Finally--real music and she didn't have to dress like a street walker to take our breath away. She just opened her mouth and all that is breautiful and right with God's Creation came out. Wouldn't you love to hear her in a duet with Josh Grobin? I love her fun, spunky self. I could watch this for hours. I love watching the faces of the "pretty" people in the crowd who think they are so much better than she is. They are nothing compared to her. I watched Carrie Underwood when she sang for the first time, so sweet and naturally beautiful. Can't stand to watch her now. I hope Susan doesn't let anyone change her. Her inner beauty glows. Love you Baby Girl!

One word comes to mind when I think of her voice and that's just beautiful. I was awed by the talent, and it's truly amazing, I am a huge Les Miz fan, and that just blew me away when I hear your version, of one of my most favourite songs from the soundtrack. It was three Yes' heard around the world, and you deserve every minute of the accolades following to make up for the doubts, that were there before you struck your first note. Last count showed the video rapidly moving towards 15 million views, it's truly a captivating video, as well your smile says it all. God Bless you Susan, and we in Canada will so look forward to your first and following CD's coming across the pond.

If you read this, Miss Susan, I have read comments on changing your appearance.

I liked your appearance from the first moment. Don't let "The System" change you.

Your real fans love you just the way you are. I think we could have been good friends in school if we would have been in the same area. We have some things in common - our age, caring for an aged parent but I can't sing and I am married with a 30 year old daughter.

I am able to recognize someone with talent and courage. It is you. You are an inspiration and a blessing. You have been a precious gift from God for so many people.

Keep Rockin!

ok, i would just like to say yes yes and yes to all the comments and i feel exactly the same... the only other thing i must say though is that i think Susan is average looking and not "ugly" or "homely" or anything, i am sure once they give her a few minor tips (yes, wax your eyebrows, girl friend)... she will look just great!! she's not a model!! but when i saw her, i didn't think anything at all in terms of how she looked... She's better looking than Rita McNeal for Pete sakes... and she's much much much better looking than Kathy Bates or Bete Milder... Susan just needs a little make over, like every girl should have a few times in her life just for a little "pick-me-up"... don't listen to anyone Susan, you look fine!!

When I saw the photo of Susan, my new hero, in the red sweater, I realized that she truely is beautiful and we all just missed seeing that in her at first. It took us hearing her singing and seeing her when she is relaxed and at home feeling comfortable, to realize that beauty is so very much greater and different than what we have come to think of it as. Thank you Susan for finding the courage to teach us so well. We needed that!!!

Susan, it should be noted that while it was a great priveledge to for the world to have heard your glorious voice, the greater priveledge is to observe your grace each time you speak publicly. As we all saw when you performed onstage, the grand perception by the audience was that you would fail. What I respect most about you is that you hold your head high and seem to set aside any need to poke at those who may not have given you the time of day. Even when a reporter has prompted you - you rise above a need to say 'I showed THEM.' So - while your voice inspires me, your heart inspires me more. I was proud to share your story with my children. You keep your head up; we'll keep listening for everything you share - musically and from your heart.

I have never been so moved since I saw the original Les Miserables on Broadway in 1988 and wandered out into Times Square wanting to give away all my money away. You make all of us want to become better people than we are now: less judgmental, less selfish, more forgiving, more kind. There are few heroes in the world right now, but you are the real deal. I look forward to being a fan of yours for years to come. Please stay who you are ... don't let the "machine" ruin you. Rock on lady!

Fans, Ms. Boyle is already famous, but she is not rich yet. She is unemployed. If you've ever been there, you know how dark and frightening a place that is. I'd like to send money to help her. Soon she'll be very rich, certainly. But I'm concerned for her today. Would it be possible to set up a gift collection for her on this website?
I saw the kitchen interview today and acapella singing ... i've been telling everyone and showing anyone who will watch it from my laptop ... the best part is WATCHING the first-time viewers faces standing beside me when their jaws hit the floor ...

maybe this is GOD working in HIS way to give Miss Susan everything she has been missing all her life so far, not to mention losing her "MUM" - we don't even know Susan but don't we all feel touched ... She's only just begun, to live ...

I already wrote April_15 - one of the very few times in my life - wanted to add this came from Houston, Texas from a 46yr old singlemom who has never gone on about "posting" ... (i agree, i cannot stop PROMOTING HER!)

How is this GENTLEWOMAN ever going to SLEEP again ... GODSPEED ...

Hello, again, Susan, a couple more thoughts: when you come to the US, please, if possible, come to the Schuster in Dayton, Ohio. Who knows, someday, I may cross the water to visit my Irish/Scottish ancestral home, and see you sing there. Your wonderful accent and manner of speaking have made me homesick for a place I have never been. God's blessing be with you...and may you always sing from your heart. Take God's hand and go for it!

Susan you are everything I am teaching Americans to be by my own life. You and I are older, we're not supermodels, yet we both possess talent that is beyond our own amazement. Thank you so much for having the courage to tell the whole world that you want a chance to stop dreaming and start living the reality of your dream. I hope you come to Las Vegas someday so my husband Ed and I can hear you sing in person. I am so glad I didn't die of my breast cancer. I would have missed out on seeing and hearing you on YouTube! I would draw a parallel between Susan Boyle and Kate Smith. And I think Susan has come along at just the right time to be an inspirational singer in that vein. And her projection is very much like Kate's. And Britain should take heed, that Susan could do her best as that type of performer. She could end up a national treasure...

well I just listened to Elaine Paige and Striesland ,I have to say in all honesty I prefer Susan voice ,the others are world superstars Susan is unemployed,What a strange world. People all around the world, what is going on? Is somebody out there playing a bad joke on all of us? We are being persuaded, on a daily basis, to listen to and to watch tones of insignificant crap (pardon my french) as well as hordes of untalented, glitzy, siliconed, made-up, made-believe, pseudo-values, and fake entertainers, and yet, Beautiful Susan, this humble, most talented, this absolute unbelievable Human Being has been kept in the shadow of anonymity. God bless you Susan for who you are

Susan, In the often jaded world of the music business, there are far too many of us that have developed that cynical attitude that was displayed by everyone in your audience. As a professional artist, songwriter and teacher of the music business, I confess I was as cynical as all the rest. I want to thank you for restoring my faith in talent, drive and the dream. You are magnificent. Thank you from Nashville Tennessee.

It is about time that we realize that it is what is inside of a human being what really counts. For too long we have been lead by a marketing that believes simply showing a beautiful woman or man makes a statement. That is not enough in real life. That is why sometimes young people ( an old too) get married or are attached to someone to find out too late that the exterior is not the real deal. I am not saying that a beautiful person could not also be beautiful inside but without the real values and the soul of this person we go no where. Most of the lack of happiness I believe derives from this confusion of judging many things for the exterior. Good luck all. My besst wishes to Susan Boyle.

I adore this woman. I will buy her music. If Frank Sinatra were alive, he'd be excited about Susan's talent too. Her rendition of "Cry Me a River" is unbelievable and doesn't sound like it was sung by a woman who has "never been kissed". She beautiful and wonderful. You are fantastic, Susan. May all your dreams come true.

I have never before commented on, voted for or in any way interacted with "stars" or talent. It is not very likely I ever will again. Susan Boyle has mass star appeal because we each would like to think we have a unique or special quality that makes us individually exceptional. Of course, I don't worry about hearing Miss Boyle again - Many ANGELS in Heaven sing equally as well.

God Bless You Susan, the entire world is waiting to hear more of your amazingly beautiful voice!!!!! You are a star!!
Posted by Becky on April 18, 2009
Ms. Boyle, if you are reading these comments...please don't change a thing; stay the course as you bring your beautiful voice to the world. Don't let the agents, advertisers, and publicists who must surely be beating on your door talk you into changing anything. You are perfect just as you are and you are a fantastic example to the very many who are ignored each day because they are older, or not Cosmopolitan Cover perfect, or in a wheelchair. We miss so much because we do not give them a second look or listen.

We would have missed so much had you not had the conviction, confidence, and courage to pursue your dream. By pursuing yours there is no doubt you are inspiring others to do the same.

I have been involved in music my entire life and I was raised by a singer who came from a family of singers. I have spent time with and listened to world famous musicians as they created new pieces and performed their standards. Over my 60 years of musical experiences, yours is the first that truly brought tears to my eyes.

Stay the course, Ms. Boyle...and thank you. BRAVO!

Let me tell you how 'far reaching' Ms. Boyle's voice has became; earlier in the week I played her audition for my 18 year old son. Even from across the pond, Ms. Boyle has touched our lives so deeply I found my son belting out this tune as he was preparing for his prom today. When an 18 year old boy from Knoxville TN can't get this song out of his head and requests me to play it each morning and each night before he turns in...well I think that says just how many lives she has touched with that sweet beautiful voice.

Susan, you are what we needed to give us all hope and a postive outlook at a time that can seem dreary. You have put smiles on millions of our faces. Good Luck!! and Thank You

This is a first for me - I have never joined a fan site before, but felt compelled after seeing all the videos and listening to your amazing voice! I don't remember the last time someone brought me to tears with a song. I live in Chicago and everyone seems to be talking about you and rightfully so! I live near one of the largest and famous gay bars in Chicago called Sidetrack. Every Sunday afternoon they have showtune videos with audience participation - great fun. I am friends with several staff there and we are working on including your performance as part of the afternoon. I can say with certainty that you will be the favorite video of the day! Thanks for making me smile and sending chills down my back!

Unlike Dayhill, I've joined a fan site before. It was a site for Judy Garland, when I was in the process of reading various Garland biographie. It's fun to know you are not alone in adoring a particular star. And now we have a star singer who is also genuine, honest, and humble.

Hi Susan: How could anyone think anything other than you are a beautiful person? I am so glad you had faith in yourself to go on the show or we would never have known about you. Do you know what makes me cry? The fact that all these years your beautiful voice has been hidden/silent and you could have had many cds out =). I listened to your "Cry me a river" and it is SO WONDERFUL. That is YOUR kind of music, a sexy orchestral/jazz mix. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU PUT OUT A CD. I will be one of the first in line. Please don't go any longer without sharing the beauty in your soul with us. Since we have been able to know Susan, learning about your life, you are a beautiful--one of the MOST beautiful persons that has lived. You are a breath of FRESH AIR.

We love you Susan--and--we are waiting for those cds.

PS: I have watched your videos all over the web. You know how when you buy a new cd and you play it to death--I have done just that with the songs you have shown to the public so far. I mean I played them so much I can't get the songs out of my head all day/all night. I can't believe such wonderful talent has been hidden away. It is like putting a monet painting in a basement closet. It just isn't done. It needs to be out there for everyone to enjoy. Never forget that Susan.

I know how it is to have people judge you before they get to know you. I am so happy that Susan (even though I believe she never meant too) was able to stick it to all those who didn't even give her the benefit of the doubt when she walked on stage. GOOD FOR YOU SUSAN.

My hope that Miss Boyle remains authentic and does not seek a make-over. She is beauiful just the way she is. She's spunky and funny and gifted. Anyone who would not recognize her beauty based on a false standard that creates insecurities will not ever appreciate who she is. I listen to hervoice and I am moved to tears. She inspires me to be better and that to me is what an artist does.

Susan, YOU ROCK! Who cares if you win the competition? You already won! You have more talent in your little finger than all those folks in the audience put together!

Sweet Susan, you are one most graceful people I have seen and world truly loves you!!! I would love to hear you sing the words I wrote to Pachelbel's Canon in D. I can even shorten the words for longer carrying notes if needed. Here are the words I wrote....

MY WORDS TO CANON IN D:

You are my love, my life, my best chance to live free...

my eyes when I watch the sun setting over the sea,

my lungs when the cool breeze blows softly into me,

You are my ears when I listen to Cannon in D.

My happiness you were, you are and always you will be...

When you laugh, when you sing, when you cry and when you dream…

When you are near or when you are far, you always will be, always were and always are,

mi cariño, my soul mate, my number one weakness and my greatest strength.

When you were born, while you live and long after you die, you were, you are and always will you be mine.

My sweetest sweet, my dearest dear, my only trust and hope after God and my freedom of all fears.

Always my Love, no matter how far or how near…

The oceans so vast as far as one can see under the sky so blue and beyond all the mountains’ highest peaks. So far, deep and long my love for you, so strong and lasting, so real and true… The beauty of your eyes looking into mine, your skin, your hair all so soft and so fine... How lucky am I that you could be all mine. If only I would have asked for your name or just stopped and said hi, alas you would of and could of and should of been now all mine.

This time I now know as the cool autum winds softly blow.

I’ve said this all even before, just yesterday and long ago!

So I stand now silent to all, for only she really knows

And the autum breeze slowly sooths a once lost soul.

Alas my Angel I have found and she has found me.

So far, far away but still hear her heart beat.

Beyond all any hopes and more than any dream.

I now believe in fate and see in destiny.

The Lord has not left us, alone or lonely...

for now my Angel I have found and she has found me.

I can not put into all the words

or have imagined or foreseen, how perfect we will feel together

and how I miss you every time you log off and leave.

I think Susan is very pleasant looking. Her hair may have been a bit messy when she sang on "Talent," but it looked quite soft. I'd hate to see her made over--unless as an even better version of herself. There are Victorian and Edwardian looks that I think would suit her, as would this Gibson Girl style, which I chose because it reminded me of her.

Susan, I never cease to break out in a big grin when I hear you sing! You have such a marvelous voice, but yet you are so humble. Susan, you are beautiful in every way. It's so refreshing to see a female singer who isn't yet another over-produced, bland, blond, 80 pound, lip-synching, breast-baring, replicant. You are the gorgeous, obviously intelligent, sincere, mature woman we need to wake up the music scene and society in general. Just listened to your Cry Me a River. You have me swooning. I can't wait for your CD! Bravo! Turn the music industry on its head!

Hello Susan; I wanted you to read some of these words that I wrote; because you have inspired us with your Blessing.

There is no need to despair And there is no need to worry, And I know that it don't seem fair But God, Will finish your story.

It is writing in His book How He created you and me, And if you coud only take a look Through He's eyes you will see.

That there in no pain or sorrow And there is no hunger or pain, But, there is a brighter tomorrow Were We All, are The Same.

As Susan Boyle comes out to audition people "judging" by her appearance belittle her. "The Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not consider their appearance, people look at the outward self but the Lord looks at the heart'"...I Samuel 16:7 "They grow-up tender and gentle, without beauty or majesty, nothing in their appearance that we sould desire them, they are despised and rejected, familiar with sorrow and suffering, as people turn their heads away in disdain."...Isaiah 53:2,3 "I am humble and not proud, scorned and despised by people. All who see me mock me, they hurl insults, shaking their heads."...Psalm 22:6,7 "My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. The arrogant mock me without restraint, but I do not turn away from your Law of Love."...Psalm 119:50,51

Susan maintains composure and starts to sing a song to music, which has the immediate affect of winning over the skeptics who had underestimated her. They now praise her. "When the evil spirit from God came uopn Saul, David would take his harp and play. Then relief would come to Saul, he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him."...I Samuel 16:23 "Today, if you will here my voice, do not harden your hearts as you previously did."...Hebrews 3:15 "Wisdom brightens a persons face and changes its hard appearance."...Ecclesiastes 8:1 "If anyone is not a Believer, they may be won over by your behavior, seeing the purity and reverance of your lives. Your beauty should not come from the outward adornment, such as braided hair, gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and pleasant spirit, which is precious to God."...I Peter 3:1-4

"Let another praise you, and not your own mouth, someone else and not your own lips, people are tested by the praise they receive."...Proverbs 27:2,21 "Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who honors God is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise publicly"...Proverbs 31:30,31 Surely God "lifted the needy out of their affliction and blessed them, the upright SAW it and rejoiced, but all the wicked shut their mouths."...Psalm 107:41,42 "Wait for the Lord and keep God's Way. Susan, BRAVO. You LOVE TO SING and did it SO well. I love the photo of you in the red sweater. So many of the "talent" that audition are focused on achieving fame and attention in any way they possibly can. For females in American, it currently appears to mean strutting around onstage in their underwear,or in skintight clothing to show off their latest boob-job, and lipo suction, and seductively flipping their dyed extensions. Please, stay real. You will achieve your dream!!!!!
