Thanks to everyone who took the time to send Susan a 'Good Luck' message for the final of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday.

Over 500 messages of support and a 'Good Luck' card have now been sent to the people at BGT, they will then pass this on to Susan prior to Saturday's performance.

Let's hope she uses this support to spur her on in the final.

Regarding the Roses: This is going to be delayed a little longer. After speaking again to the people at BGT yesterday - They have advised to leave any flower arrangements until after the show has finished, with no definate date for delivery at Susan's home in Scotland.

We do not want to be responsible for as many as 1,000 members to buy a rose and for them to be delivered when Susan is not home. It is not as simple as people may think as the florist needs to order the roses prior to people purchasing.

Once we get a definate date to deliver we can then hopefully proceed with orders, we are not prepared to take a chance to deliver at the hotel or television centre where Susan may not personally receive the flowers.

A few members have been asking about a forum or chat area to be available on the fansite. We will try to add at least one of these features before Saturday's final.

Also some members have asked to see if they can help out with the running of the fansite, maybe a few selected members can help out with the above features.

Let's get back to supporting Susan, she is not getting good press in the UK at the moment, it seems as if they are writing anything about her in order to sell newspapers.

BGT Judge Piers Morgan defends Susan regarding the bad press on his website earlier today, click here to read his story.

Apologies if we have not replied to some of your emails as our inbox is going crazy.

Would love to see a forum attached to this site. I've made some good friends here and to be able to "chat" to them via a forum here would be brilliant.

Great article by Piers Morgan! Well done Piers!

And I would love to see a forum too.

Hey Guy...you should not apologize for ANYTHING. You have been doing an amazing service to all of us rabid fans. God Bless you for your time, creativity, mentoring, quality of website and love...we will all will win...because of you our leader and the voice of our Angel!!!!!

Well, I already ordered a rose before I saw this :-D so if they can't be delivered Saturday, hopefully JW Flowers will include our "preorders" (as it were) in the bouquets that eventually get delivered to Susan's home. Or maybe they can be delivered to the hotel instead of the studio? As DelLeslie said, we just feel very strongly about wanting to send Susan a show of support to boost her spirits and assure her that many, many people don't give a rat's tiny tush about what trash the tabloids spew--and that we wouldn't blame her one bit even if she did throw the "f" word at a tabloid writer or two. ;-)

A forum is a fantastic idea, and I look forward to seeing it here! Then we won't be filling your blogs with all kinds of unrelated discussions because we'll have somewhere else to discuss.

Thanks again for your work on this site, and for Susan!

Paul...you normally hear before the rest of us...everyone (including judges) is saying she should go back to her original 'Dream' song and again bring us all to our knees..please....does anyone have any viable info on her choice of song???
Posted by TommyUSA on May 28, 2009
No apologies necessary, Paul.....You are doing a fantastic job. Appreciation comes from this corner for sure. Loved the article, and thankful that someone with the notibility as Piers has spoken up for Susan. Thanks again Paul...... Tommy

I just wanted to say that the comments by the members of this Susan Boyle fan site were terrific. I hope she has the time and the desire to read at least some of what was sent her way in the form of encouragement and love. Since those of us who do not live in the UK cannot watch BGT live, will there be a link posted that we can log onto to watch it live through our computers?

A big thank you to the administrators of this website. You are doing a fantastic job

I ordered one rose as well. We didn't know it was not permitted, it sounded "official". Anyway, at the moment it will be only a few, maybe 20. So no harm done really. Once again we didn't know, so apologies.

Posted by 281165 on May 28, 2009
I fully agree with BostonAve

`ANYONE WHO ORDERED A "ROSE" FROM JW FLOWERS, COULD CANCEL THE ORDER, (MAYBE)

Howdy Paul,

Thanks for all you did, are doing, and are gonna did in support of our Susan. As Navyvet said, "You are doing an amazing service to all of us rabid fans...God Bless you for your time, creativity, mentoring, quality of website and love..."

To my way of thinkin' the earlier that card is delivered to Susan the better it's gonna be...

Have you noticed that this group is constantly growing? Sure hope you've got enough donuts for everybody. What's that? No donuts? Well, I guess a forum will have to do then. I would have voted for donuts, but, whatever...

Thanks Paul...get ready to celebrate. Saturday the whole world is gonna celebrate as Susan's dreams continue to come true. Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Wild Ol' Dan

P.S. Can we vote on the donuts?

Posted by Lonnirose on May 28, 2009
I am so proud of Piers for defending our beloved Susan. She does NOT deserve to be hurt by the stupid press people - remember what they did to Princess Diana? They're just trying to make some sort of sensation to get their own names forward and sell their inane articles. Piers, you can comfort Susan with your kind words and a strong shoulder. I am trusting you will do that on behalf of those of us who cannot be there with her. Susan, dear girl, just think of the millions who love you and ignore the idiots. You are so loved here in Kentucky and throughout the U.S. Just please know we're sending you love, prayers, and lighted candles. You're a blessing to the world!

A little inkling? Remember the interview (long version) Susan gave after Memory -- in her yellow blouse? In that interview she seemed to me to say that the three songs she would sing were part of a specially selected group that fit together, telling a story in each song, and finally a story that comes about with the three songs together. (I can't find the interview -- maybe Paul can have a little library to go with the forum of the most important interviews and the songs she sang, etc. I'd even pay for that option). So, at least she probably is going into Saturday with that plan. It seemed very important that the set be held together. Who know what she want's to do now. -- I hope she goes off to a sound stage and works hard to fully center herself, and then takes a grand rest to rev up for a fantastic Saturday Gift. -- And I would hope the Security team will not just leave her off at the hotel, but will keep odd newstypes well away for where Susan is staying after what has happened to her, she deserves that much from BGT.

Wild o' Dan - what say YOU bring the donuts, I'LL bring the coffee???? Or, as Garth Brooks might say, "our conversation calls for a little more than a coffee pot" (Proud member of The American Honky Tonk Bar Association . . . )
Posted by Navyvet on May 28, 2009
Hotel officially stated Susan, her family and friend were in her private room...not even where is was supposed to be during the incident! Think this story was sent out by as a type of backlash...from her competiors???? Heard several types of stories that Susan was accused of a the exact same type of rant at the airport..when she first arrived at the studios, etc. Stay the course - believe in her goodness - the worst we have actually heard her say is 'bloody'...she didn't do it this terrible outburst she is acussed of-there is proof she was not there!!!! Don't let these scums get to us, get your voice heard with your UK contacts!!!!

I totally agree that we should have a forum to talk to each other especially before the final. I am so scared for her after reading all the reports about the last few days and am so nervous that it would help to talk to others that I'm sure feel the same way. Susan didn't deserve this treatment and she is probably totally overwhelmed. I also hope that our "good luck" messages can be sent to her as soon as possible...sounds like she needs a hug.
Posted by AZJanet on May 28, 2009
Here is the reply I received from JW Flowers: "Thank you for your order and follow up email, I will arrange for a refund to be sent through world pay asap and as we are still not entirely sure whats going on we will also honor your original instructions and send a Rose to Susan as well. . . . Ruari" Sounds like there was some miscommunication and that good intent prevails.
Posted by SBFII Admin on May 28, 2009
Good luck messages and card have been sent. They have been sent guaranteed delivery to arrive with the people at BGT by no later than 1.00pm tomorrow. This will give them time to pass on to Susan.

Howdy Lovin' Every Minute!,

Well, I'm not sure Ol' Paul wants us to have any donuts...or coffee for that matter. Somethin' about cleanin' the place up after 19,000 plus Susan Boyle fans... Anybody wanna bet when we'll be over 20,000? Better hurry...it might be today. Reckon that's a lotta donuts...so we'll probably just have to settle for that forum idea. Kinda like callin' a family reunion, invitin' folks from all over the world to come...and no donuts or coffee...just talk. Reckon that's life though...and we're lovin' every minute of it! Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

That was my first thought too Navyvet, another contester trying to discredit her and leaking to the press. Like I said elsewhere on this site. Who believes those tabloids and sensation TV anyway?
Posted by sassyone on May 28, 2009
I am for a forum for the fans. As for the bad press, I'm so sorry to see her get attacked like that. I hope she is ok. She really needs to see that we are loyal fans.

I live in a bubble. Up until yesterday I knew about the fuss surrounding Susan so thought i must actually see the clip and find out what the fuss is about. I can't remember being so moved by a television moment in a very very long time. Very rare to have the privilege to watch such a talent unleashed on the world. Just what everyone needed at the moment, an underdog with winning through and proving that there is still talent in the singing world. So thanks Susan, you've put a smile back on the face of millions and millions of people and you have a voice that makes a tear come to the eye in a way that only truly great voices can. Whatever happens Susan, remember these early days and the effect you have had on so many. You are a remarkable talent. It will be wonderful to own a CD by you one day and I would love to hear what you could do with some brand new material. I'm sure all this will come to be but keep yourself grounded Susan, if you are able to read comments, and remember that its taken 47 years to bring this talent to the world. Take your time now, choose things carefully, always be gracious and the world will be at your feet.

Well it's all well and good Piers saying all that but what he said in the semi-finals is a slur to all singers. I am fed up of these judges with their sweeping statements, even Simon Cowell came out with something ridiculous saying that one act was the best dancing act he'd ever seen. What about that young boy ballet dancer some time ago? These judges are so fickle, you don't knonw where you are with them. I am behind Susan all the way and I am from South Wales. I believe her to be a very talented woman and I love the fact she appears so down-to-earth. Newspapers ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. They make up stories, one has even invented a photograph of Susan with her fingers up. I hope there is someone to look after Susan, this hate campaign is very disturbing.

Susan,You go girl. I live in the US and just love to watch the video clips of you singing. I think you have the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and hope you think of nothing but your mom when you sing in the finals. It will help your nerves as you really have nothing to prove, you have already done that. All you have to do is sing to your mom and you definitely will me my idol and hopefully Britians idol. Even if by some chance you don't win the idol contest, you are a winner and there will be many many doors open to you if you choose to enter. You are an inspiration to me and millions of others. Not because of your age, your appearance but because of the voice God gave you. It's a gift and one I sure wish I had. Good luck. You are a winner in my book Susan

You are more than a beautiful voice Susan. You have made so many people realize that a person doesn't have to be 20 years old and 20 pounds underweight to be worthy of respect and admiration. I think you are perfect as you are and don't ever change to please the media. We love you in the U.S.

I appreciate the info from Piers blog. I've said along he is truly a wonderful person and I know some people did not go along with that but this for sure proves it. I posted a similar copy from a news article I found yesterday somewhere on this site. Now all we can do is pray and have faith. I believe Susan will pull it all together and bring it all together one more time, as she would put it fantastically. When you listen to her sing Saturday, just watch and see. Her tremendous ability to stay focused, concentrate, and keep on going will bring the house down one more time. We should not worry, she'll be fine. Have faith in not only Susan but in the people.

Susan "coasted" on "Memory" versus "Dream." For the Final they need to a) put the microphone back into her hands, and b) choose a song that exhibits her full range...not just at the end of the song. Good luck to the Scottish Rose (a lttle thorny, but very beautiful).

I am absolutely heartsore from the way the press is treating Susan. She doesn't deserve this! I know the press have a lust for bringing celebrities down but Susan is such an innocent soul, it must devestating for her to have to face this. SHAME ON THEM ALL!!
Posted by AmazinglyCritical on May 28, 2009
I knew it was garbage when I read the article this morning, before Piers said anything. Further, even if she did get mad, who could blame her as you said, the press will write anything to sell a paper. I'm not sure if I'm in the minority on this but, I just want to hear her sing. Everything else is second fiddle. I have a feeling she's going to come out with a hand mic on Saturday and just ROCK the finals. She's got the voice, she sings from the heart, she's going to make all the critics eat their words again like she did the first time. I'm not ordering any roses, as I thought the card was plenty, considering what she's going through right now. She doesn't need any added pressure or anything to make her more nervous. Flowers after would be lovely. Oh, I can't wait. Two more days, I'm getting so excited to watch her final performance. She's going to nail it, I can feel it....

YourAwesome I saw the piece on Fox also and have been mad ever since. That Courtney the gossip reporter seemed to be gleeful in reporting how awful Susan has been acting (supposedly). She needs to check her facts. I don't know what cable channel I can stand to watch now..none that I can think of. Those people at BGT need to have some kind of protection to keep those British tabloid people away from Susan. She is a world-wide star now and all they want to do is destroy her. Hard to understand why unless it has got to do with some of her competitors being nasty.

Fox "news" is the tabloid of broadcast news. I'm not paying any heed to their regurgitated crapola. Yes, that's blunt, but I'm pretty ticked at the tabloid "journalists" right now. Keep sending vibes of support to Susan! And pray she keeps her sense of humor about her; she's going to need it.
Posted by YourAwesome on May 28, 2009
Jayhawk..Yes..she needs more protection because she is a "STAR".....We need to start packing our bags!! REALLY...Jay..BGT should be doing the PROTECTION...in anyway that they can! Susan is as popular as Lady Di! Please protect her from the jackAs0razzi!!!!!!!!
Posted by callingmissboyle on May 28, 2009
The journalists are chafing at the bit to give people what they want to hear. And this is always primitive and brutal. They have planned from the outset what they are doing now. When a brain-damaged singer came into the spotlight, they knew what they had to do for big money interests. They have timed it perfectly, that's all, and shaped how it's going to go. How Susan will do in the final depends on well she understands and is helped to understand that the base and evil part of people want to see her fall apart as a "crazy" person. This site has to somehow get the message to her that she isn't the target here at all. It is her type, her group, or other disabled people. There was controversy surrounding the winner of American Idol lately: a controversy I'm fully expecting in Susan's final as well. There is a political backlash against gays in the US as there very well might be against brain damaged people making it big. The organ transplantation industry has turned everybody off the brain damaged making it so more people will kill their brain injured relatives by means of this cruel practice. No one would do it if they knew the truth so the brain damaged are portrayed as better off dead. This is how Susan's adventure will ultimately be engineered whether she wins or not. Remember, organ removal kills the donor. Many of them could recover if treated for their injury rather than prepared for organ removal. People are not dead when they are cut open. The act of cutting them open and removing their organs kills them. It is a horrible form of death involving entrapment and torture. Susan must be informed of the political interest in making her fail, and she must sing to defeat it. This is her purpose and it's huge.
Posted by YourAwesome on May 28, 2009

Folks, a good place to post comments for the General Public to see is at the end of Piers article on his blog. I have been posting comments out there all week to anything I can find to tell the public not to forget how they originally felt about Susan, but to vote from their hearts. And, to recognize Susan's outstanding character and qualities.
Posted by sabrina6850 on May 28, 2009
Purplegothicqueen, I couldn't agree more with you regarding the judges being fickle. Even to observers, their statements are often contradictory. Too many 'this is stunning, the best I've seen' eg, and it is taken seriously by the contestants, especially someone like Susan.

I was worried all along about Piers leading her on the way he did and was hoping someone would advise her to realize it was all just showbiz for him.

However, I am glad he has defended her, and hope he realizes that she is far too fragile a person to play games with.

As for the British tabloids, someone should remind Susan that these are the most despised people in the world especially after what they did to Princess Diana.

From now on she needs to be protected from them. BGT owes her that for all the publicity she has given them. No marketer could have done more for them and I hope they remember that.

I guess on the positive side, getting attacked by the tabloids means she's made it into the bigtime as this is their MO once someone gains popularity. They are nothing but vultures and their credibility is about zero.

She is in good company at least and most stars say they do not even read them.

Good luck to Susan on Saturday. I like the idea of a forum also. Win or lose this competition, Susan will go on to be a huge star. Can't wait to buy her first CD.

Re: the 'cussing' flap - assuming it's true, I'm not at all clear as to the circumstances leading up to this, whether it was provoked, and therefore, justified. So - big deal.

Maybe Susan should go back to Blackburn for a day or so, feed Pebbles, sleep in her own bed, see some familiar sights and friends, and come back on Saturday refreshed & ready to roll.

AND - Thank you, Paul, for everything you do on this site! It is greatly appreciated.

You know what chaps all this "negative" publicity might just work in Susan's favour. I have already heard people saying they don't believe a word those rags print and because of the their stitch up job on Susan they are now going to vote for her. (These were people who previously wouldn't have bothered to vote)

As to the judges being fickle, I think this is to be expected. They're drumming up interest & suspense in their show. They couldn't very well say on April 11 that they had their winner, now could they?? (Or on 5/24/09, or any date since - ?) Plus, to be fair - would that be fair to the other contestants? It's not at all surprising that other contestants are stepping forward, stating that they could win (i.e. Shaun Smith) - I'm surprised they've been quiet until now. It's a competition! Presumably, they all think they've got a shot - and the judges should not appear biased. Maybe in theory, the judges should not express opinions one way or the other, but come on, this is TV / entertainment! They're milking it for all it's worth. Susan (and all the other contestants) simply have to find a way to remove themselves from the hoopla for the next 48 hours.

I just seen on foxnews too. Talk about taking a new low for trying to get people to watch. Why is it, whenever something so great comes out, the media has to haunt like vultures to tear it down? And they wonder what's wrong with the world today. I'm not going to let it disturb me though. The more I watch her sing, the better she sounds everytime. Next time Susan, if you are being provoked and asked some stupid questions, just flip the bird and smile at the camera. Your fans will understand, lol.

Where is Susan's bodyguard? She had one at home and she surely needs one now. And somebody needs to control the hornets buzzing around her trying to cash in on her stardom. From what I've heard, the whole thing was a made-up lie about Susan dropping the eff bomb. I'd check on some of the competitors and that dumb Lily whoever woman. They're all so jealous they'd do anything.

I live in Denver, Colorado. Everyday, I love my Susan Boyle "fix" .. tears roll down as I watch her videos .. the emotion on her face .. and listening to her wonderful voice. When I first watched her video, the words out of my mouth were "She has a voice suited for Broadway". I am so saddened by the recent attempts to bring her down .. She is such a bright light in what has been a difficult world. I will not be able to watch her Saturday night or able to vote .. I am praying that she wins .. when first asked what she wanted, she said that she wanted to sing for the Queen. I do so hope that her wish comes true and that she goes on to have a great career. And one last wish .. that she stays in my life through the Internet. Thank You Ms. Susan Boyle and also thank you,Paul, for this web site and for the posts of you, her fans. Count me in !!!

"My name is Susan Boyle" ...... bet you can't guess what I am watching right now!! LOL ..... her voice is like medicine. It cures what ails ya! Everyone go listen to one of her videos, then come back here uplifted, and let's try this again. :)

Ok friends, I'm being serious now, we have to stay centered on Susan.

She is going to sing on saturday and she counts on our support, if we are on the grips on anger, we are not being useful

The press won't stop so we have to stop and be 100% positive in order to send good vibes to Susan.

I can assure you that the National Geographic is more healthier than Fox, or Skmoks for that matter :PP

Sad to see the news of her losing herself. I hope that she can stay calm and take her baby steps again!!!!! These people are not worth it. Susan should stop the bloody British press interviews, these people only want to sell their papers and write anything they wan!!!! I love every word of Piers said. BUT the judges are quite funny, they said Susan should win, would win, could win, the next minute, it is not a one-horse race, Hollie could win as well and someone else performance was the best singing performance so far, so what is that? Start with the judge, either they shout their mouths first, and not creating more confusing news.

Even Susan fell flat on her face, she is still the winner for me. If she didn't win. ITV could go to the fridge as far as I am concerned.

And, again and again, a thank-you for the job Paul is doing. So what's the topic of the next blog??? to get us addicts thru until Saturday??? How about a fancy title like "Susan, we luv ya" or "SuBo thoughts", or "If you can say something nice, don't say anything at all" Just a few suggestions.

Im posting this for the Medias Attention:-

Please leave Susan Boyle alone as she does not deserve to be treated like a bit of rubbish now that shes been brought to fame. Ive met susan and spoke to susan and she is a lovely woman who does noting to harm anyone. She does not even get this sort of trouble from people in Blackburn and shes stayed there all her life. You are beggining to ruin susans life now and she was on the verge of quitting and this has let susan and myself down as i like susan very much and i hope that the millions of fans also agree with this statement. Susan we the people of Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland and the world support you and hope you ignore what the press say becuase you are a superstar susan and everyone here in Blackburn support, Love and Cherish you while you do this for Scotland. You can do it pal. I hope this gets printed as Susan dioes not deserve this sort of abuse from the media.

Here's a note of reassurance from a commentor on Piers Morgan's website, who saw the referenced photos, which was my thought, Susan did not lose it as the press has exagerated 10 times over:

May 28, 2009 at 2:41 pm Melissa says

I just read the article in The Sun and looked at their 3 photos. NOT ONE makes her look out of control, breathing hard and crying like they described in the article. She looks like she is calm and collected. What a farce! Mattoon, IL USA Everybody should just quit fretting. Let her sing one more song. Have faith. Susan will preform well Saturday, in fact, not just well but Fantastically. That's all its going to take for her to win! She believes in each and every one of us, just have and believe in Susan and her abilities, as earlier stated.

re: fox news thats the very reason I stopped watching that channel and going to their website. I have noticed that they have become more like the National Enquirer than a news site. Again, negativity sells better than positivity.

Not only Princess Di, but the tabloids tried to access the safe house where Elisabeth Fritzl and her family were staying to get a photo of some abused people. It made me sick.

Tommy, that was a great article in the HuffPost. Thanks for letting us know.

The fudgsicles are really funny story. I have been getting up at 5:30 EDT to jump on the website to find out what the Aussies have to say. We are all addicted to loving Susan and its a good thing.

I was looking for peaceful meditation videos and found this prayer posted as a comment on one:

Divine Source, Let my heart be filled with Peace, Let me speak only the Truth, Let my actions be done only with Love. May all beings be Happy, May all beings be healthy And have enough to eat, May all beings live in Peace, With each other and on this earth. Om ~ Amen

The video was "Om Shanti," which is an invocation for peace (in Sanskrit, if I recall correctly), and it's here if you're interested:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ts7x6RPZrk0

So there's one peaceful focus. ;-) I think I'll take a break from the internet to go do a bit of meditation and send some supportive thoughts Susan's way!

I've read several articles about the blow up. As a Citizen of the United States I will say that being under such pressure would make anyone blow if pushed hard and pushed on purpose. I believe she was pushed on purpose to create a story. As for the words she supposedly said, I do not believe it because those words are used by Americans, maybe some British, but definitely not by the Scots. They have other words. So the reports I believe are too slanted with American colloquialisms to be factual. Susan should remain sequestered from everyone until the final song is sung on BGT. Then just let the lassie sing as she enjoys doing. Anyone can only take so much and she is under great pressure from the media. As a reminder to the Brits and the World, look at what the media did to Princess Diana.

It goes without saying, "garbage" is the business of tabloids and, unfortunately, there are many in society that gullably believe and thrive on the garbage that's written. Any way, from what I've seen thus far, Susan is the only performer (like 2007 winner, Paul Potts) who could actually go forward with a viable (singing) career in show biz. Susan, we love ya - hang in there and give us a wow performance on Sunday - you can do it!!!
Posted by southernlady on May 28, 2009
I've read all the negative news about Susan. Vultures are trying to "feast". I was expecting this. I'm glad Piers took the time to take up for her, but I really feel he & the other judges should be more careful about what they say during the semi-finals. The semi-final winners are watching & listening to their remarks. I agree with Lovin'EveryMinute, Susan & all the other contestants need to have a way to remove themselves from all of the hoopla. I think at this point Susan needs a calm atmosphere. I would hope that BGT will see that she gets what she needs. She has done more to promote that show than all the paid advertisements could ever hope to do.

I agree 100% with Clancy49. She needs to disappear, chill, come back on Saturday and do what she does best, to the best of her ability, and be prepared to accept the outcome, whatever it may be, with good grace and her usual sense of humor. Regardless of the outcome on Saturday, she is and will remain a winner and a shining star.

Someone talk with Susan's family and have them run interference for her with the press..The media will keep hounding her all the way to the finals. Tell them to be a buffer for her and keep the media away. Susan, you are great and you can win this thing. Keep your cool and stay away from the hounds as much as you can,so you can stay calm for Saturday. The USA loves you!!!!

To all of Susan's fans:

I have another idea for supporting Susan in lieu of the flowers ...

Would it be possible to set up a fund for Susan where we can make donations ...

The flowers are a lovely idea but I think Susan could do more with some money that comes direct from her fans.

In other words, instead of each fan contributing "X" amount for flowers, we instead contribute "X" amount to an account for Susan to do with as she wishes.

I'm hoping that a "THANK YOU, SUSAN" account with contributions from Susan's fans will:

1. show Susan how much JOY she has given to us even before she has made a CD, and,

2. will give her some sense of her worth so that she doesn't hastily enter into agreements with some business / entertainment people who may not have Susan's best interests at heart. Don't you all worry about that, too?

What do you all think? I have posted a similar comment on Piers blog ... under the name of Ellie from Boston, MA.

Please give it some thought, ok?

Love to all of you ... it's wonderful to be part of an on- line community that recognizes Susan's gifts.

Susan am sure would be grateful just knowing so many people are honoring her by sending roses. The Thistle, Scottish Bluebells along with Shamrocks for her Irish roots I think would be just as apropos to bestow upon her; the Thistle by the way is the symbol of Scottish defiance, also apropos considering all the BS she's had endure to get this far in her singing career. All prayers & good wishes to you Susan, God WILL be on your side when you appear on BGT!

Like the thought of sending cash - to charities Susan supports. If folks out there could verify WHICH ones they are I'd certainly be willing to send what I can; PayPal is a good way to securely send cash.
Posted by BJG on May 28, 2009
I'D RATHER SEND A BRACELET IN GOLD SAYING THIS IS FROM HER EVER LOYAL FANS. THE DATE AND OCCASION -- BGT I am not sure about the money -- if she continues, she will have more money God. But that means she wins the contest. If not, then it will take her a good while to build her money up. I still thin, regardless, the gold bracelet would be a lasting memory.
Posted by SunnyinDelaware on May 28, 2009
Thanks so much Paul for all you do. I have a forum that can be used for this site, hopefully I can help in some way. Being one of the biggest fans (if not the biggest, but all of us here say that, don't we..lol) I wish I could be there to help her and to let her know we all love her. I hate to think she is upset about anything. Thanks for the pictures, they are great!!! And to the link to Piers' blog, very nice article...true gentleman!!!
Posted by LucyB on May 28, 2009
I'm willing to betcha that any amount of money that could be donated would only be a whisper to the amount of money that Susan will begin to earn once the BGT final is over. I'm also willing to bet that the contractS are lined up waiting her signature and that money will be the least of her wants afterwards---a little peace and quiet will probably be harder to find.

Thanks very much, Paul, for all the great things that you do for us here! Piers' statements in defence of Susan are magnanimous.

My heart cries out to her for all her sufferings because of the nasty press. How could they? I've been hurt when people talk badly about Jennifer Aniston - they're so unfair and cruel. But I thought the media would at least have the heart to exempt Susan from all those wickedness against celebrities.

Don't you, worry, Susan ... those detractors will never win over you. Your fans are all behind you. Most especially, God is with you. There now is a spiritual war between the good and the bad. And to all you Jesus-followers, our weapon - our love for Susan and prayers - are the greatest and no one, nothing, can defeat them!

Susan, don't worry. We love ya soooooo much! Nothing can stop your bright star. You'll win - the more the media presses you down, the stronger your British voters will be to launch you to win BGT!
Posted by mdillow31 on May 28, 2009
Purplegothicqueen: I agree with you. The press isn't the only ones responsible for this media mess that Susan finds herself in. BGT has not protected her and Piers has led her on. I hold them all responsible for the position they have put Susan in and I posted it to Piers blog. Piers should have never have led Susan on and made the remarks that Shaheen was the best he had heard. I don't believe for one minute that Susan didn't hear of it.
Posted by Grace_P on May 28, 2009
Hi Susan. I'm sure you're gonna win on Saturday...why? Because you deserve it. Don't think about all this dirty press. Just sing from your heart...and the whole world will be praying for the Angel's voice to be heard. God bless you dear. Love from Canada.

Paparazzi never learns. Look what they did to the most popular woman of the UK princess Diana. A rare kind of species those paparazzi :-(
Posted by callingmissboyle on May 28, 2009
Susan does have brain damage... and this isn't an insult as people have written here! Her brain damage makes her a special person and a very intelligent one in her own right. The problem here is that people don't understand that brain damaged people are people too. For Pete's sake please stop trying to make her into someone she is not. She is a lovely singer, witty and fun-filled. She is also handicapped. As such she is a great spokeswoman for the disabled. Again, this denial of the brain damaged has to stop. This is why the paparazzi think they have an audience. If you deny Susan's "specialness" then you are the audience they are targeting.

Another thing, I have heard some people say that they should LET the boy win because he’s a kid and deserves a CHANCE! (Sorry, I can’t remember his name) Well, he HAS a GREAT start from being on BGT, he will still go far, but, he is NOT as good as Susan, AND Susan is not a child, she is pushing 50, she has had a hard life and is poor and facing old age - unemployed and alone, with a cat!!! And with one of the greatest voices ever, SHE ALSO DESERVES A CHANCE and she also NEEDS IT! The boy has his parents to care for him and thanks to BGT he WILL succeed. But Susan, doesn’t have a whole life time ahead of her like the boy does, she NEEDS something NOW! NO WOMAN would want to be in her shoes when she is pushing 50. Thank GOD that He blessed her with the voice of a Angel, and she deserves to have a better life for how ever long she has left. She is BETTER than the boy, and the boy has a long life ahead, he can even come back another year. There will NEVER be another Susan Boyle! I love her better than all of them put together! JJ (Jeani) :)
Posted by NarnianGirl on May 28, 2009
Piers came out in her defence and asked the press to leave her alone - well done, that's the least he could do.

In the same news story, they interviewed Shaheen, who also said Susan's a 'nice lady' and called her his friend. I do not believe there is any nasty and unhealthy competition spirit among the finalists - they will all go on a tour together and will have great careers. It's all made up by venomous people of the gutter-press.

Let us keep Susan in our prayers... she needs all the love & support she can get!
Posted by 281165 on May 28, 2009
Totally agree JJ. Shaheen did not so good in the semifinal. He lost the popular vote. The public voted for the Greek dancers. And yes JJ anything you see on Youtube that is helpfull for Susan Boyle you are allowed to put it on this site. As soon something reached Youtube it can be considered public information and not private information.
Posted by mdillow31 on May 28, 2009
Piers Morgan is part of Susan's problem. He led her on about a date and after she sang Memory backstage she ran to Piers and he said Susan kissed him on the lips and the wiggle everyone has been talking about was for Piers. The media is evil. I wouldn't put it past BGT to do this to drive up the ratings for Sat night. But that is using Susan and they don't care if she gets hurt. And where is her family ? They need to be with her.
Posted by JJ :) on May 28, 2009
THANK YOU Reinder!! :) I didn't know that, that is GREAT! And about the boy, what did you call him - Shaheen - I think Amanda voted for him just because he is a child. People are not thinking about the adults NEED WORK these days :( And Susan REALLY needs it bad, poor baby, I am SO HAPPY for her and her future, and I HOPE NOBODY RUINS It for her! She DESERVES IT! Thanks a lot, JJ :)
Posted by mdillow31 on May 28, 2009
Amanda has said that she would like to start a children's BGT. I read it with my own eyes. She also said she wants to be the hostess. Then she said prpbably Simon would make it his idea and take it over. :)

I had read somewhere last week that Susan Boyle has a mouth on her, and at the time, I thought it was great (I have a mouth on me, too). I'm glad she gave these ghouls what-for; she got bullied enough in her younger years, and as a grown up she's got a right to fight back. As for the "journalists" (my, don't they give themselves airs!), we think we have some low-life scum in the profession in the US, but the English cornered the market in that respect long ago. Good on you, Susan, for letting these jerks have it!

Just don't let the turkeys get you down.
Posted by Chenando on May 28, 2009
Susan Boyle is a star. A real star, and anyone that says the contrary is wrong. The styles of Hollywood and all the "glamour" are finishing, little by little. Some of those "stars are now working in TV because they have no choice. And I want to make this crystal clear, it is not the actors. It's the written media that sells more when they are super yellow.

Susan Boyle is not part of that aparato, and she will never be. Thank you...

Are we supposed to just order on our own or do we have a common fund for all to contribute for flowers. One way or another flowers for Susan!

Dear Susan - don't read the papers love, ignore those buffoons who would insult you and knock you down, just think of the song you are going to sing Saturday and know there are thousands and thousands of people out here wishing you well and loving the way you are, and the way you sing. Piers was on the news today saying Susan had her bags packed to leave. I am assuming that BGT must have done something rather quickly to remedy the situation as Susan is now staying for the finals. BGT better protect our Susan and get their act together.

SUSAN BOYLE FANS:

So, where are we on creating a PayPal account for Susan with the money going to the charity or charities of Susan choice?

I think people, especially those of us in the USA who cannot vote for Susan, could contribute as little as $1.00 or whatever the cost of a phone call would be to vote for Susan. And, of course the donations could be as high as people would like.

It would be a way of saying to the world that we wish we could vote for Susan this Saturday nite & here is our support -- dollars (and/ or Euros) to her favorite charity.

Please let's focus & reach a decision on this so we can have an account set up before Saturday nite.

I welcome comments. (I've posted this elsewhere on this website because I think we need to reach a decision quickly on this and I wasn't sure of the best place to leave this suggestion).

believe this whole thing with Susan has been CAUSED BY SIMON COWELL AND BGT ... to get RATINGS and get more people to watch the finals Saturday night. After all Simon has arranged for DEMI MOORE to fly in to supoort Susan Saturday. I think this whole thing is about MONEY and RATIINGS. It is called SHOW BIZ and they don't give a rip what happens to SUSAN. She pulls in the money and ratings for BGT because SUSAN is the HIT of the season. It is no wonder SIMON is saying these things to the PRESS that he has never seen anyting like it. Well, they do the same thing to stars in the States. I am not surprised and I think PIERS and AMANDA are part of it too. But in the end I really expect SUSAN to pull it through and get out there and do it for her MUM !!

Dear Susan,

I'm severely disabled, use a wheelchair, and four feet tall. In I sing with a powerful voice and in 1964 my performances brought huge audiences to their feet with standing ovations. My anger, however, made me hate the audiences and applause. The more I performed, the greater my contempt. It was eating away at me. But rather than learning to manage anger and self-pity for the pain of being different imposed upon my psyche, I said horrible things from the stage and alienated the audiences who loved me. I don't have the greatest voice like you do, but an opera that filled auditoriums from such a tiny body (I weight 36 kilos) filled audiences with wonder and me hate.

If you fall into the trap of feeling anger and hate and fear and sink toward depression, find help from a competent therapist. I love "Cry me a River." I listen to it over and over. I see the possibility that in the end you will run from your dreams out of anger, self-pity and hate for scars that may never heal. Now that would be a loss to me. I need your music and your success and therefore your courage. You were born into a lower middle class that will never understand or accept your greatness. Find therapy so you my grow spiritually and emotionally. Don't run like I did. I need your music. I need your success.

Is there any news about the card we sent?
Posted by mdillow31 on May 29, 2009
Boy, it is hard to respond to all of these posts but glad we are all on the Susan Boyle bandwagon.

i. Please, those who CAN vote,, if you can vote for Susan as many times as you can for those of us that can't vote. I won't try because I don't want to tie up the phonelines.

ii. I still believe BGT staged this for ratings and money and didn't protect Susan.

iii. I also think BGT is now responding because of the fans that have posted on Piers blog and most told him that Susan needs a mentor and protection from the press and it his responsibility to get it done.

iv. Simon will come out OK. He will make hunks of money off of this. It's a dream come true for him no matter what he says in publick. It's show biz with him. He is already getting a recording contract for Susan and is thinking of buying the rights of Susan's life to make a movie. Of course Susan will make money too. And she deserves all the millions she most likely will earn in time to come.

iv. I hope Susan sticks it out and thinks of her Mum and why she entered the BGT auditions to begin with and hope she is mad enough ti belt out a song that knocks all of those who have made fun of her right off their regal seats.

v. I have never seen anything like this since Elvis annd the Beetles. Susan is right up there with them all.

vi. Last but not least, give her a microphone to sing with as she practiced with a hairbrush for years and that is the way she sings. Let her do it HER way !!

I just saw on E! Entertainment Susan looking good and with a female that was with her and she was smiling. Piers was on an interview there and he said that he told Susan to unpack her bags because this was the biggest prize. Apparently Susan listened to him and thank God she did. Hopefully, this will turn out good for Susan and all of her fans. I am glad I got to see this with my own eyes instead of hearing this and that. Susan looked.... GREAT!

I still think Piers reminds me of Jeeves

Susan, if you happen to read this, we want you to know that we think you are simply fabulous. You sing from your heart and soul and share your inner world with your audience, and that is what gives you your star quality. Someone could be technically the most gifted singer in the world but if they don't sing from their heart, from their emotions, no audience in the world is going to like them or be able to connect with them. Please don't pay any attention to the haters ... they are jealous and in serious need of a life. You have two devoted fans here in Atlanta, and we will buy your CD the minute it is released stateside. God bless you and keep smiling!!! P.S. (from Mary) My mum passed away too, in 2006. Yours must be so very proud of you right now. I would so love to hear you sing "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from Phantom of the Opera. It's not the most popular song from PotO but the lyrics (yearning for a loved one who has passed away) are lovely and I know you would sing that one from the heart and totally nail it, just like you did "I Dreamed a Dream."

She is still a star. I was hoping she was going to sing DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA..HOWEVER, SHE WILL STILL GO FAR IN LIFE...SHE CAME NUMBER 2 IN THE CONTEST..
