To express my appreciation, I'll just repeat my comment from the previous blog, where TommyUSA posted his letter to Susan that is accompanying the DVD of his videos:

Wow. That is just... wow. You somehow managed to find the words to express to Susan the support and encouragement that will surely lift her spirits and let her know that there are people in this world who value her, and who will continue to value her, for who she is and how beautifully she sings. I genuinely hope and pray she will find comfort and encouragement in viewing your DVD, and in the letter you wrote to go with it. Thanks so much for the love and effort you poured into this project!

Just seeing that beautiful, sweet girl makes me cry all over again. I'd just like to hug her - it's like she's the daughter I never had. And the lyrics to that song - that says it all. If only we could send it to our darling Susan so she'd know for sure how many people adore her.

Tommy captures and delivers the love and goodwill of the viewers towards Susan. Thank you Tommy!

I so hope we see our Susan that happy once more. Tommy, what can I say - you outdo yourself every time. This video should be on Youtube to show the world how adored this darling girl is. It would bring as many tears as her audition - it did for me.

Good morning from "stormy" Cameron Park! Thunderstorms all night here - a rare thing!

@Administrator; Per my post on last blog have just contributed U.S. $1,000 to keep susan-boyle.com going (yes, I DID have the cash to cover it in my bank account!); DO use is well - and wisely - to make our experiences on this website JUST as sweet as Susan Boyle's voice.

My contribution is considerably more modest than $1,000, but I chipped in. ;-) And happy to do so! Thanks for giving us a place to gather!

@Navyvet; If you meant me and it was posted on last blog no sweat, won't be going back to read it, TOO busy just on keeping up with current posts like this one.

Her's a question someone may be able to answer: Do we know whether or not Simon really called Susan and reassured her? I certainly hope he did, but I don't trust what the tabloids have to say.
Posted by ACuppaForSusan on June 04, 2009
TommyUSA, your tribute is so beautiful and moving. It says it all, for Susan! Thank you.

And Retired in Kalifornia, you're a generous angel. Bless you.

Hi....just heard on the news in Brtain that they are going to be taking Pebbles to visit Susan. They said that she is much better but I think a visit from Pebbles will make her feel so much better. They also mentioned that after the call from Simon Cowell she has been naking notes of songs that could be on her CD.

Outstanding!!!! This website is rally uniting us; and hopefully even the world in general. It's even beyond words. 2 days ago, I pulled out my 1983 piano project of "You Light Up My Life", arr. Dan Coats (not an easy verson) that I had worked on for a church talent show; and to help my self recover from a light heat related stroke at the age of 33. I hadn't played that song in a couple of years. In fact, this whole obsession has gotten me back interested in my music again (nothing hightly talented, just enjoyable for me). Thanks to everyone who makes this web connection possible!! I'll be trying to contribute, within my modest limits. Thank you so much!!

Susan "lost" because the network planned it that way. It is nothing new. Just one example...It worked for American Idol when Adam Lambert "lost". It was all set up. The networks cashed in on ratings and will do the same next year as well. It is not illegal and the networks will also tell you that it is "nothing personal". It is TV everyone...quite entertaining isn't it?

More confirmation if needed that Susan will sing for the president?

'Susan Boyle just wants to sing' says Max Clifford

Simon Cowell's publicists Max Clifford has said that Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle wants to continue singing following her stay in the Priory clinic.

03 June 2009 16:45 PM

Simon Cowell's publicists Max Clifford has said that Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle wants to continue singing following her stay in the Priory clinic.

Susan reportedly checked herself into the private clinic in north London after feeling "emotionally and physically exhausted" on Sunday evening.

Clifford told Sky News: "Provided she's given a few days and then allowed to be as normal as possible, she should be fine.

"She is recovering well. All she wants to do is sing."

Clifford also said that Simon Cowell has promised to oversee the launch of Susan's singing career after her convalescence.

He said: "She's going to have potentially huge album sales, particularly in America. Americans absolutely love her.

"Everyone wants her on their show singing. That gives her massive potential, and Simon will make sure she has the best songs and the best productions."

It was recently revealed that Susan has been invited to sing for President Barack Obama on Independence Day.

Gerry Boyle told the Daily Record that his sister has received an invitation from the White House to perform at the celebrations on July 4.

Gerry said: "Her dream is still very much alive. In fact, it's only just starting.

"She's been battered non-stop for the last seven weeks and it has taken its toll. But she'll be looking forward now to the fourth of July."

The story on AOL (America Online) is about the false numbers on YouTube, which when dialed would result in votes for Diversity or Shaun Smith, rather than Susan Boyle as intended. AOL has it on the front page today (with picture) -- the most prominent place. The article refers to the Daily Mail report that we were discussing on Tuesday. There is also a vote option, and 90% answer that Susan Boyle was cheated out of a win. Millions of people view front page stories on AOL.

"I'M AMONG FRIENDS, AM I NOT!?!" :) Hello everyone.... first of all, thank you for all your kind comments. I appreciate it coming from all you wonderful Susan fans. And by the way, this WAS Paul's idea, not mine...lol.

Also, wanted to let you all know that the DVD is on it's way, priority mail, to Susan. I tried to get a tracking number, but the post office said I couldn't do that since it was international. I just pray that she gets it. I enclosed the letter that I posted on the blog yesterday.

Another thing I wanted to mention is that I have set up a Susan Blog at http://tommyusablog.blogspot.com/.....so if you would, please come by and post your love and support for Susan on the blog...it is open to the public, and I will get an email each time someone post a comment. That way I can moderate it without having to actually be there. We need all the love and support comments we can get for our Susan.

God bless you all ..... Much love to Susan and all of you loyal Susan fans, from Louisiana, USA

Off Topic item (pardon please): Sad news for us fans of David Carradine age 73 of "Kung Fu" fame and host of History Channel's "Wild West Tech," was found dead in a Bangkok, Thailand hotel room yesterday.

This is the ABC News post stating he'd died from "natural causes": http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/entertainment&id=6847033

This is the Nation Multimedia post stating that he'd hung himself http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2009/06/04/headlines/headlines_30104421.php

Typical media mis-reporting, which is true; facts please!

Wow, the AOL poll regarding their front page article on Susan gains about 1500 more votes every 4 minutes! Those are people who had to click through from the front page to the inside, read everything, and then vote. Still running 90% in support of Susan! America loves Susan Boyle!

Thank You..Thank You...Thank You....Kali - you are absolutely wonderful for donating that amount of money for our dear Susan.......we all appreciate it....

TOMMY: There are no words that convey the emotions you set off deep in our souls of our love and admiration for Susan.

Someone here said that Susan's family were not supportive of her when she was growing up. I thought that was a bit harsh until I saw this article with her brother Gerry:

http://deadlinescotland.wordpress.com/2009/06/04/donny-osmond-supports-susan-boyle/

I apologize; you were so right. I'm absolutely horrified that they even thought those things about Susan, much less repeat them now.

@IvoryMist; Don't think so, 20 or so joined over the last 90 minutes.

@All; Frequency of blog posts will vary by topic, no doubt they'll skyrocket once we get direct statements from Susan to her fans rather than news reports. I think it VERY important to maintain interest in her during this intermediate time before she sings again and/or when her first commercial recording come out, one or two posts a day on the daily blog topic helps out, same idea as calling friends once in a while, does ME wonders when I hear from them!
Posted by BethInTheUSA on June 04, 2009
IvoryMist: people are still posting on the Pebbles thread, so not many are posting on this one.
Posted by donnola petrilli on June 04, 2009
Hey gang - out late last evening and I'm just now checking in to learn the great news about wee Pebbles being reunited with her mum, though, as a cat-owner, I'm a tad concerned about her being uprouted for her digs and hope she fares well on the trip.

@Tommy USA - I echo everyone's sentiments about you and your wonderful tributes to Susan - such tearjerkers!

Lastly, I welcome any improvements to the site but as a recent retiree on a fixed income, there's no room in my budget for donations of any kind rght now.
Posted by Retired In Flat Broke Kalifornia on June 04, 2009
@donnola petrilli; 10-4 your last comment on making a donation, hopefully mine will substitue in lieu of yours et. al. Am too living on fixed pension but "got lucky" last few months in having extra reserve cash to splurge on helping to keep this website going.

here it is.Clips on YouTube displayed the WRONG telephone voting number for Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle, it has emerged.

Hundreds of fans have complained that, within moments of Miss Boyle's performance on Saturday night, YouTube was re-running clips of it carrying the wrong phone voting number for her, but not for two of her closest rivals.

Viewers believe what appeared to be a simple error could have been an attempt to get Miss Boyle's fans to vote for rival acts.

@AZJanet; 10-4 your comments, EVERY bit helps, even the smallest amount!

I just hope that I live long enough to when Susan retires from singing - which all performers do - so I can STILL let her know that she's loved by me! FAR too many sad cases of great singers of the pas being consigned to obscurity because their fans abandoned them, NOTHING I think is more heart breaking - and I ain't one of them THAT'S for sure!

Posted by Rothay on June 04, 2009
I have no doubt that Susan will emerge from The Priory, back to the strong and confident person she showed herself to be at her unforgettable Audition for Britain's Got Talent. Her inner strength came through the TV screen as she stood on the stage after saying "I'm going to make this audience rock." A prophetic statement in my view. You are going to rock the world audience Susan, count on it. Keep on believing in yourself. You have weathered the storm. Life cannot kill the dream you dreamed. It has no power to do so. God gave you your dreams. Soar with them.
Posted by GritsT on June 04, 2009
Thank you so much for the paypal link.........now I really believe I have been able to "DO" something for Susan....kinda like putting my money where my mouth is, huh?
Posted by A Genie on June 04, 2009
Maybe AOL should run the tally for BGT.
Posted by Rothay on June 04, 2009
Impossible not to be a fan of this beautiful person called Susan Boyle. Impossible to forget her Audition for Britain's Got Talent. And oh how she has talent. Now it has emerged from her home in West Lothian. Like a genie freed from a bottle - impossible for it to be stuffed back in the bottle of obscurity. You rocked the audience at your Audition, Susan. Believe it, you are going to rock the musical world. It has already begun. Shake off this temporary setback, put your best foot forward knowing you HAVE weathered the storm. The lyrics of "I dreamed a dream" speak of a character in Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables." Those lyrics, though beautiful, do not speak of you. You are not alone in pursuing your dream. We are but a fraction of the fans out there pulling for Susan Boyle. God bless - he already has with that incredibly beautiful voice. You are destined for greatness dear Susan. Love, Audrey xxxxxx

TommyUSA ~ Thanks for the lovely tribute. I do hope Susan gets to see it, and that it quells the beast that tells her that she is worthless. Negative conditioning is hard to overcome. You KNOW you have value, but do you BELIEVE it? And usually it is the most worthy people who tend to feel they have little worth, because the bullies and the naysayers pick on anyone who is different, as all genius is. Watching Susan's final performance shows me she is a genius of music and theater.

In case anyone misses reading about yet another wonderful fan on this site Rothay this is her profile: About Rothay I'm an artist living in northern Arizona, USA. I was born in Liverpool but raised in Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere in what is now called Cumbria (it was Westmorland when I lived there). Although I am a U.S. citizen, which means I hold dual citizenship, my heart is forever among the daffodils on the shores of Lake Ullswater. I shall be eternally grateful to England for the education I received at Kelsick Grammar School. It has followed me everywhere. It is with me still.

My thoughts ... As I have lived on this beautiful earth, I have realized more and more how talent, creativity, has no nationality, is given not to a selected few, can be found in the most unlikely places. No nationality has the corner of the market on talent. It is expressed in every imaginable language, in even the remotest corners of the Universe. It comes from one Source, God, the only Creator. I know that there is an in-dwelling creative force infusing all of life - including ourselves. Ceativity is God's gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God. Many composers and master painters have humbly acknowledged God as their source of creativity, inspiration. So do I. This is my position.

I love life. I give thanks for life, for creativity, for endless opportunity, for my dreams. I give thanks for all those who recognize their talent and dream their dreams. Our creative dreams and yearnings come from a Divine Source. As we move toward our dreams, we move toward our divinity. Dream on.

Deam on Susan ... keep your hopes strong. Aristotle said, "Hope is a waking dream." Yours is waking, unfolding. Life cannot kill a dream. It is God-given.

Howdy finlandia50,

Well, sure, I'll tell ya who TOMMYUSA is. He's a feller who loves Susan Boyle with all his heart and soul. He's from down Louisiana way in the good ol' U.S.A.. And he has used his wonderful talent to put together a gazillion wonderful tribute videos to Susan Boyle. Reckon just about all of us on this here fans site are mighty proud of Tommy for puttin' those wonderful video tributes together. They are very inspiring and touch the heart in ways it's kinda hard to explain. But, taint no question, every last one of us hopes ol' Tommy will keep on doin' what he's been doin'...he has a way of sayin' in words and song what all of us are feelin'. And, bein' from Louisiana myself, I reckon I'm kinda proud that he's a part of this here outfit. He's a mighty fine man who loves Susan Boyle with all his heart and soul. Reckon we oughta keep him around...a whole mess of us have kinda got used to him over the last few weeks...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Tommy: What was that about sending a DVD to Susan? I ahve been in the dark for the last couple of days due to a computer glitch (caused, no doubt, by me watching BGT live for hours at weekend...). Have you sent Susan a gift? I was wondering what's happening with the roses idea - I would love to be a part of that once she is back in Scotland.

Posted on The Sun discussion of America Wants Susan Boyle:

Millions of Americans really do love Susan Boyle, and even most of our media have been very favorable toward her during and after her time on BGT. We welcome and bless Lady Susan's visits to America, and her release of CDs and DVDs. It's amazing and sad to us that some of Britain's media and people are so heartless toward the tender beauty in your midst. We really thought more highly of you, but articles in this newspaper and comments on this site have caused many of us to reconsider.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
Ivory, Tommy IS single, but he's obviously in love with Susan so I have no chance. That's OK, we all understand loving Susan. I think about that dear girl day and night, hoping she is getting better, wanting her to know how much we love her, and hoping she does know that. I bought a T-shirt from Amazon with her name and picture on it. I know she doesn't get the money, but it keeps the interest in her alive and I get to show her sweet face to the world when I wear it.
Posted by Retired In Flat Broke Kalifornia on June 04, 2009
@TommyUSA; Vangelis Papathanassiou's "Chariots of Fire" music includes a short segment towards end of movie that has music I call "the victory march," all the chief actors sit atop a truck, or vehicle of some kind, and cheer on while this music plays as they drive away. I've never forgotten that music, think it one of THE most soaring pieces I've ever heard. If you'd include it in a tribute piece for Susan you'd made my day - forever!
Posted by NarnianGirl on June 04, 2009
P.S: I feel overwhelmingly how crucial praying for Susan is. I know that none of us wanted to foresee her collapse and emotional breakdown, but it was sadly way too predictable. I can't escape the notion that in part I have contributed to this media frenzy too, by wanting and insisting to know all there is to know about Susan... The press have simply complied to what the public expected :( So I am asking myself now: Are we a part of the problem (eager fans waiting her to record and tour as soon as possible regardless how she is faring) or the solution (giving her the time and privacy she needs, with prayers and love). I know we all want to get our hands on her album - but we need to lay our expectations aside and allow her to proced as she sees best. Even if that would mean her never singing again (which would seem dreadful to me!) or delaying her career plans until further notice.

TOMMYUSA....picture my face as a poor version of Julia Roberts' face (only with enough wrinkles to mimic a road map) in "Steel Magnolias" when she was CRYING after having a blood sugar drop in Truvy's Beauty Spot. "You Light Up My Life" is a most exquisite tribute to Susan. I just wish you'd make it a policy to distribute boxes of tissues with those vids from now on. (sniffs, wipes nose on sleeve)

Like I said in the other topic:

I don't believe for a second that Susan had "learning difficulties" and I can speak from experience. When you are bullied enough you start to think why bother to do my best at school, I will not be appreciated anyway. That is why I said in my candle video that I recognize a lot in Susan Boyle. I was bullied at one school to and my results dropped. I was tired at school for not sleeping well, because of the bullying. Bullied people often have less results than the not-bullied. Susan learned how to read notes to play piano. That means she had no learning difficulties. In 1988 my father suddenly died and I had to take care of my mother as well for ten years. My dream to go to university down the drain. That I recognize as well. If someone can learn how to read notes (and I cannot) then such a person in my book has no learning difficulties. It was the bullying that made her results at schools. And she has a brilliant voice that goes right down your spine. She should have been discovered 30 years ago.

Tommy, this is my favorite, although it is hard to pick because yours are wonderful. I was just thinking, I love your videos so much, I had already put them on my favorite. Now I am thinking, you should rolled these all up into a nice video, that we can buy NOW. I am getting a stiff neck looking at this computer every day and night. I want to see Susan sing on my big screen TV and don't know how to get them there from here. Maybe a nice video from you so I can just zap it in the drive and watch it on TV. What do you say numer 10 video guy?

Tommy, did they tell you how many days Priority would take to get to Scotland? When I was just inquiring at the PO this morning, because I want to send Susan a card and note, they were telling me Priority would take 6-10 business days, which is almost identical to First Class. Do those who have sent cards know if this is correct. To go fast would take Global xpress which is expensive. A long time since I have had anyone overseas to send letters to, but I was really shocked. I used to send letters airmail and it only took 2 or 3 days. What has happened?

NARNIAGIRL,...honey bunny, I don't think ANYONE who admires Susan, as we all do here, would EVER have wanted the negative vitriole that began to crop up regarding Susan in the media. More likely no one at BGT, nor did Susan, realize the unprecedented affect she would have on the world.
Posted by Retired In Flat Broke Kalifornia on June 04, 2009
@TXNoelle; Ta da, La la da ta da, Ta da, la la da Ta Da! That's the major notes of the "Victory March" and my (broken, three fused bones in arch) back is straight as rod hearing the tune right now - time out now for sobbing a bit.

navyvet, so good to see you back posting. I take it this means you all got the things done you needed to.

Is there anything you know that you could ethically share with us as to Gerry or other siblings and how they relate to Susan. As hyouy can see, it came up recently.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
Danny, you can get it now. Apparently these came out right after her audition video, but they're pretty nice. You can get all colors and sizes - just look around. There's also a place to reserve her CD, but I'm sure you've already done that. The shirts don't benefit Susan financially, as I said, but it will keep the interest in her alive. Noelle: There are several kinds, but the one I chose was her audition picture and it says "A Star Is Born". There's like a whole page or two of them.
Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
How can I put this fansite on my desktop? Anybody know? I'm pretty dumb about computer stuff - lucky I can even get here.

REINDER, g'morning. Susan and her brother Gerry both mentioned early on that she was oxygen-deprived at birth and thus "slow" in school, for which she was bullied, as well as for her eyebrows and for being shy and quiet.

I think she's overcome all the learning difficulties with bells on. As her former voice coach has indicated, Susan has a brilliant mind and high intelligence.
Posted by DannyMac on June 04, 2009
Well, if she goes on that tour, she will certainly need better protection than what she has had. Can you imagine how the media scum will be out in force, doing the same things?

And I surely hope they will let Susan be more herself, not try to squeeze her into that "one size fits all" style.
Posted by Meggsy on June 04, 2009
I've just had a response from the Press Complaints Commission to my complaint over Susan's cruel and humiliating exposure in the media ... They have said "...the PCC has been in touch with Ms Boyles representatives and will be helping them protect Ms Boyle for the future" Hopefully this is now the end of it and Susan will be well protected. It seems that Max Clifford is her Publicist, so he will be making all the responses to the newspapers and media on her behalf.

TommyUSA... beautiful video, well done. You did Susan proud.

Hello beautiful Susan Fans...well, I am in for the rest of the day.... rained me out at work, so you'll have to put up with me for a little while anyway...lol

@DannyMac, they told me that it would take 2 days.... You should have seen the postal clerks reaction when she looked on the package and saw the name "Susan Boyle"...she said is this "The Susan Boyle"? Oh, I LOVE her!!" .... makes you feel all good inside..So I explained to her what is going on here on the site, and gave her the link... she said she would visit for sure. :)

@All who have tried to enter a comment on the blog I set up for Susan (http://tommyusablog.blogspot.com/)...I don't understand why you can't get in...I have settings to where anonymous persons can make comments...I may just shut this one down, and try something else. It's a Google thing.

BAJARAQUEL, what did I miss about a mail lady's face?
Posted by NarnianGirl on June 04, 2009
TXNoelle: No, certainly none of us wanted any of the negative to happen - sadly that just is a part of becoming famous instantly, especially in the UK, where the tabloids are like ravenous wolves. Even the more positive media exposure has, in some ways, been a part of this rollercoaster - and I admit being a part of it, wanting to know all the Susan news, eager to find out what's going on etc. At this time, what she needs now is privacy and rest, not demands of instant recordings, tours etc. That sort of thing can be extremely tiring, especially with the feelings of 'having let her supporters down' as now is being reported about Susan's sentiments.

NARNIANGIRL, I think our only agenda in expressing our desires to hear more of Susan as soon as she's READY (expressed by most here) are an attempt to just reassure Susan, since her brother Gerry stated that Susan was anxious over whether anyone would want to buy her CD's now. I think TOMMY USA's tribute DVD and letter to Susan (sent to Susan today) will more than clear things up as to how much we care and are willing to wait as long as it takes. We just want her to know we'll be there for her when she's ready. We're not going anywhere.
Posted by BethInTheUSA on June 04, 2009
About the tabloid press in the US: at least here, there seems to be a bigger difference between the tabloids and the regular press. An article that appears in the National Enquirer would not be regarded with the same serious attention as an article appearing in the Washington Post, for instance. In the UK, there doesn't seem to be the same distinction.

Sometimes a mainstream newspaper will repeat a story from a tabloid, but for the most part, when Susan learns the difference between American tabloids and the mainstream press, then she can happily ignore the trash that appears alongside articles about Martian babies and 3-headed sheep. It's fairly easy in America to discard the garbage and follow the motto: "Consider the source."
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
ANJAE EDENS, thanks for posting that URL. It just gives me "squealing worms" to think that they're finally giving that major voting scam the attention it deserves.

Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
BETHININTHEUSA, you are so right about the distinction between the tabloids and legitimate media in the USA. Maybe angry Brits could get a campaign going to slap "Consider the Source" stickers on all Brit tabloids everywhere they see 'em. Do it kinda like graffiti Ninjas. LOL!

Hi Tommy. You are such a lovely man. Thank you so much for all you do to promote Susan. Your beautiful tributes are so moving and powerful. Did you know you are responsible for stock going up in the Kleenex industry? lol Well, you are. I've gone back and listened to "A Rose is a Rose" so many times, everyone around me is looking at me funny when I play it again and again. That has to be the most inspiring song. It touches something deep inside me, back to my childhood; to a very shy little girl who hid when company came and stood with head down when anyone spoke to me. To my mom, I was a thorn, but to my youngest sister, I have always been a rose. I think back a couple of years when she had breast cancer and I had to think that she might be gone from me, but God performed a miracle and I still have my next best friend. Jesus is my real BFF. Your tributes make me realized that we need to cherish the roses in our lives and enjoy them while they bloom. Susan is like a rose that has began to blossom and the world is beginning to see how beautiful she is.

DAVID, I second that nomination for Tommy!

CALFORD, we love it, too...love you, too!

MRLSCAN, I saw that about Susan's red knickers. Did she make that comment in one of her interviews post-finals?

LONNI, I'm gonna check again on that Wally World CD order, but I heard it yesterday, too.

TommyUSA. What a lovely tribute video. You are a techie geniuse....how do you do it? Great talent, of course. I am so glad Susan will receive some of the videos you and others have put together and shared. She will be so "chuffed" (British expression). And with Pebbles going to visit...she will be on cloud nine. I would love to hear what she has to say when she receives/views/reads these expressions of love and support. I suspect she doesn't know of the SUSAN BOYLE Fansite. Cheers from Canada.

spiritualwoman...meditation is great idea for those who are 'old' to the practice, and for those who are 'new' to the practice. I was instructed in TM and Buddhist meditation, and other spiritual type meditations. All meditation is great for us and for Susan and for the world in general

Love to Susan, and all her fans,

Egyptian FAROS were entomed with their mummified pet cats. I haven't read anywhere that that was considered BIZZARE behavior. Just another expression of unending love for their cat. Susan's ability to make the world comment and realize the small things we do area actually precious and real. I can't begin to evn try to put a total number on how many yesterday spoke to their pet in person and on the phone, or even by web cam as a result of lady Susan and our defense of her doing what every animal lover does. Susan's ability to now have lauched the catch phrase HAVE YOU SPOKE TO YOUR PET TODAY is the new have you hugged your child today. Keep teaching us Susan as were listening to you.

Brookluyn blessings, thank you for posting the AOL comments on Susan. I will go there and read on what you said.

YZNoelle, I threw the idea out for us to contact the media right after the finals and no one posted they were interested but a hanful. So, I went ahead and posted to many media TV Shows and papers that I would not support their show and boycott them and their sponsors and not buy their sponsors products if they continued to mistreat Susan and call her names, etc. Since then the shows I watch and emailed have stopped putting Susan down and giving her thhe respect she deserves. It would be grat if others would do the same. :)

Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
DAVID, HUGE amen to that!

KATLADYD, yer right, chere. Susan is a gigantic love-magnet!

SPIRITUALWOMAN, re: meditation group, it may be that our positive interaction globally on this site is already accomplishing that, but couldn't hurt to send even more positive vibes Susan's way. :)

SASSYONE, ya beat me to it! Plannin' on doing a crocheted one for Susan after I finish moving next weekend. High 5's, chere!

Which does remind me listening to above, anybody heard what Susan's fellow kindrid sprit Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin a.k.a, Enya has to say about her IF anything? Could - or would - Susan do any of her songs? Just a thought...
Posted by AZJanet on June 04, 2009
I don't see any benefit to Susan and only negativity to Diversity regarding this poll. Neither one caused the error nor can they fix it, nor do we know what teh alleged real vote count would have been. There is no going back and changing it so I say let it be and focus attention instead on Susan's wish "to have a career in singing" which is going to be a reality.
Posted by A Genie on June 04, 2009

Brooklyn Blessings, I couldn't find your AOL thing you mentioned.

I did find that Susan has an Irish cousin, Senator Danny Boyle, that blasted BGT, saying it was all about money and ratings and spoke ill of the way Susan and other contestants are treated on these shows.
Posted by :-) on June 04, 2009
wouldn't it be wonderful if all fans over here had profile picture of a cat ?
Posted by david on June 04, 2009
For those that may be concerned about Susan still not having recieved any compensation for her gift to us and the world. I think it's a concern we should'nt have any longer as it seems just by actions alone that Simon and SyCo have secured their deal with Susan as she had the option to tear up any contract if that was her wish. Being that SyCo represntative spelled out that enough was enough of Susan bashing in the tabloids or publishing false or distorted medical info that is considered confidential and that basically....BACK OFF. And with her having Simons personal publicist now as her spokesman it should be realized that a star like Susan get's a pretty large sum of cash as an advance. In Susans case it's likely at least 10 times more than she would have gotten by winning BGT. Rest easy my friends Susan is a millionaire today. As her brother Gerry stated she'll never have to want for anything again.

Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
Well I don't care about Diversity whatsoever. Even they said they didn't expect to win! They seem like nice enough boys, but I have to admit I feel resentful toward them, and I know that's wrong, but I do. I know it wasn't their fault, but I can't help it. Susan should have won and we all know it and I'm still highly p***** off!
Posted by jordie on June 04, 2009
It is so cool to have this fansite!!! Unfortunately, as I am financially "challenged" right now, I can't make a donation. The only donation I can make is to convey my heartfelt encouragement and best wishes to Susan. She is without a doubt and angel, and as I have said before, I am in her corner 110% and waiting as we all are for her to get a clean bill of health so she can get on with her career. I am appalled at the AOL information. It is unbelievable!!! Poor Susan, such a betrayal!!
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
SUNNY44, cooo-eeeee, chere! That's mind-boggling but VERY welcome news. I think they're gonna hafta listen up.

SPIRITUALWOMAN, we do try to keep things perky and smiling here. :D

MDILLOW, Kudos for Susan's Irish cousin!!

DAVID, I think you're spot on about the lack of Susan's money problems! There's no way that BGT would overlook that aspect of Susan's present or future.
Posted by mdillow31 on June 04, 2009
SENATOR DANNY BOYLE, cousin to Susan is a SENATOR in IRELAND and states:

"Picked this up today:

"BGT is out for ratings and money, and doesn't take care of Susan and other contestants." He blasted the show.

She currently lives by the Atlantic Ocean, I live near the Pacific, and we’re identically in love with Lady Susan Boyle! We call each other “Pal.” Together, via PayPal, we two Pals just donated $222.22 for an upgraded fansite. Might you join up with some siblings or friends and match us? Thanks, everyone, for your loving spirits.

AOL - 98,000 out of 108,000 state that Susan was cheated out of votes! WOW 91% for her.

Posted by Csk8stoo on June 04, 2009
Don't think Pebbles would much care for the trip. Cats not so good in a car -- worse on a plane. They are very place sensitive and you know how long it took before we all got a glimpse of Pebbles. If she's like my cat, she's not much for strangers or different places. Just getting to hear Susan's voice on the phone will be good for Pebbles and good for Susan to know she is in communication (as best one can with a cat!) Of course I talk to my cat on the phone when I'm away! Doesn't everyone!

Also, for you cat lovers, go back to the original Susan audition video. Before her performance, when Ant and Dec are interviewing her back stage, right after she says, "...never been kissed," she makes an adorable little cat sound. I wonder if that's how she talks with Pebbles.

Howdy amysole,

On another post just minutes ago I commented on the song WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH A STORM HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH AND DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK... Susan is not fragile...she is not weak...the pressure of the competition is behind her now. When you get bucked off a bronc you HAVE to get back up, get on that horse, and ride! Susan cannot let the bad guys win, Amy, not if she really wants to achieve her dreams. Bullies have no power whatsoever unless you give it to them. Susan has 48 years experience dealing with bullies...and she now has 200,000,000 plus of us to back her up and deal with those bullies. As far as getting back on that stage...SHE CAN...AND SHE MUST! Evil only wins when the Good give up. Susan is not going to give up on the way to her dreams...it's just not in her nature.

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Wild Ol' Dan

Hats off to those who set up this fan club for Susan and her fans. I will be glad when we get sections for different topics as this is getting hard to go through all of these postings. Many of us have neglected our own lives and families and daily things we have to do to support Susan and this fan club. I have been guilty of this. I hope we get a section of the latest news and Susan's schedule and appearances when she resumes the career that is awaiting her when she is able to continue. It would help to get through all of these postings. Some of us don't have good eyesight. LOL !

Tommy thanks for re posting your letter it's as great as you are. Also since WERE AMONG FRIENDS, ARE WE NOT? I just wanted to say that I'm a man of my word so if we can get a drive on to the Whitehouse to have you there for Susan as this sites representative I will follow thru on my pledge to get you there. Please just let me know. And to all Susans fans that agree TommyUSA should be included in Susan's invite to the Whitehouse as a representative of her legion of fans. Then e-mail the PREZ as I did at the same e-mail address we sent on appreciation to President Obama for his invitation to Susan. America is blessed not only by Susan but by people but also a few gems like Tommy.

WILD OL'DAN, yep, dat Susan's definitely NOT all hat and no cattle!

IVORYMIST, I was kinda squirmin' a bit, too, hon, but I'm sure we can tweak it when we do the Susaspeak dictionary.

TOMMYUSA, I can make either Creole-style or da File'-style, which one y'ont, chere?

I noticed the UK newspaper "The Sun" is now showing a decent photo of Susan under the Brit Got Talent page. Up until today they were displaying the most horrible photos of Susan - Why the change, I wonder?
Posted by mdillow31 on June 04, 2009
Mriscan, I agree, I will continue to support Susan anyway I can and buy her CDs, etc but somewhere all of our lives are waiting and things can't wait and have to be attended to. That post on Pebbles is close to 1,800 postings. If one leaves to take care of family needs it is hard to get through all of the postings and answer someone who has posted on something one might be interested in answering. It is getting hard to follow all of the chatting.

How about Susanistas as a word for Sue fans ?
Posted by lisalater on June 04, 2009
I think people are learning how devoted her fans are and they're afraid they'll lose business, Canadian16. I just thought I'd hop on here and catch up on what's happening. I don't know if anyone has talked about this yet, but I went over to youtube a couple of hours ago, and put Susan Boyle in the search and came to a youtube site apparently run by Susan's nephew. And she says something herself there. Her nephew cleans it up, but I did read a couple of awful comments. Does anyone know anything about it?
Posted by david on June 04, 2009
YourAwesome thank you for seconding my nomination. As a mass of fans 22,000 strong and growing we can make it happen. Or as the PREZ would say......YES WE CAN!
Posted by Canadian16 on June 04, 2009
I also just found this in one of the papaer:

The Press Complaints Commission has warned newspaper editors not to breach the privacy of Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle by reporting details of her health.

Boyle was admitted to the Priory clinic in north London on Sunday evening after coming second to dance act Diversity in the final of the ITV1 talent contest.

The PCC sent an email to all newspapers late yesterday reminding them of its code of practice.

Boyle is being represented by SyCo, Britain's Got Talent creator Simon Cowell's company, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. SyCo requested that the PCC "politely" draw the media's attention to its concerns.

"We have been contacted by the media representative of Susan Boyle, who recently appeared on the programme Britain's Got Talent," the commission said in the email.

"[They are] concerned about the publication of details about Ms Boyle's health and treatment. [They have] referred to clause 3 (privacy) of the code and asked the PCC to pass on [their] concerns so that editors can take them into consideration for the future."

The 48-year-old had been the clear favourite to win the ITV1 talent show but, after a week of intense pressure in which the media followed her every move, her behaviour became erratic following her defeat.

Talkback Thames, the producer of Britain's Got Talent, admitted that Boyle had not been psychologically tested before she was allowed on to the show, although psychologists were available to contestants who needed them.

Noelle, I have a dear friend who reminds me of Wanda Sykes a lot. She is funny and we have a lot of fun cutting up when we see each other. A very highclass lady, but when she needs to she can lay some words on you and get what she calls, "real street"
Posted by david on June 04, 2009
I'll also as a Susaholic that if we can succeed in having Tommy invited to be there, I'll be a very, very, very, very jealous fan chock full of envy. But Tommy deserves it the most, thus the nomination is warranted, look at the guy he is what little man America is all about and deserves as Susan has the realization that a dream can come true.
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
CSK8STOO, no worries on vids being read differently in UK area. I'm just almost positive that Simon can and might provide Susan with the right equipment to accommodate Tommy's vid.

SPIRITUALWOMAN, U2, chere! :)

CANADIAN, because we've been getting in their face about it, chere. :) (High 5's, LONNI)

MDILLOW, remember, chere....dos' big girl panties make ya walk funny when gettin in a knot. It'll get better when the forum's up.

DANNYMAC, only coffee and diet Coke here, chere! I've been possessed by Wanda. ;>

MRLSCAN, akshully, Gumbo looks like swamp-scum, smells fabulously deee-lishus and will tickle yer tummy to no end.

Posted by DannyMac on June 04, 2009
Canadien16 But there they go, talking about psychologists and psychological testing again, which leads some in the public to think she has real mental problems. I just hate it.

LISALATER, Thanks!

REINDER! You are now commanding the English language, chere! LOL! That's very clever!
Posted by DannyMac on June 04, 2009
Yes, Noelle, and she looks somewhat like Wanda.

I wish the Queen would put her arm around Susan like she did Michelle. I can still hear Wanda, telling Michelle she had to be more careful what she did with her arms, "patting the Queen on the back like she just slid into third base, ' way to go, Queen'

Remember the other stuff too. She is in St.Pete/Tampa for a show.

Thank you for this heart warming video. This is definitely one of my favorites of the ones you have done.

I have one request...Susan stated until now she felt like she never had any friends. Then, when she was on Oprah...she stated that that she will never be lonely again because she has thousands of new friends. Could you make another video with the them of "Thank you for being our friend!" Something like that! Love ya, tweek.

You know, I think I'm well on my way to becoming a Susaholic! What a wonderful condition! If I could write Susan a letter, I would just tell her that we are all pulling for her and love her dearly! Not just here in the U.S., but around the world. Who cares who won the stupid contest, though I do like Diversity and they had some very nice things to say about Susan, how is that going to affect her popularity as a person or a performer? Susan, you have to face the facts, you may have been teased as a child, but you are now the most popular lady in the entire world! Enjoy, you've earned every bit of it!

@katladyd; Susaholic? I'm already a terminal case, what WOULD be the rehab, two weeks listening non-stop to Barry Manilow (madly ducking the bricks right now)?!

I think if any and all of us could have a wish, it would be for Susan to really grasp how beloved she is, how valued for the wonderful person she is, how many people count themselves her friends, and for her to never ever again feel loneliness.

Why does the fan site carry an add under "Our Sponsors" for the 30-second poll which reads: Susan Boyle: Totally Unique or Ugly Freak? I DID NOT expect to have to see stuff like that about Susan on this site!!! PLEASE find a way to drop this "Sponsor"! (lower left hand side of top page)
Posted by DannyMac on June 04, 2009
This is something I have been wanting to post and couldn't hold it in mind long enough. We saw where Sir David Frost is a friend of Susan's family. Not sure for how long. But if he spent any time at all with the, he would surely have heard Susan's voice and know of her dream. With his connections, he could surely have opened some doors for Susan way back. I wonder why he didn't.

DANNYMAC, (loud snicker) re: health dept inspection Good one!

KATLADYD, YES, she has!!!!

DANNYMAC, ROFL, re: retirement comments!

DONNOLA, "An ounce of pretention is worth a pound of manure" could be, in this case, be stated as "An ounce of PRETENDS-sion is worth a pount of...." no...wait a minute....that doesn't sound right...that's just WRONG!!! LOL!

@DannyMac; 10-4 on that; Susan now has to worry keeping her privacy intact, LARGE army of burley Scots & Irishmen suddenly appearing from nowhere wherever she goes certainly would come in handy here to keep away the papparazzi!
Posted by fumingjane on June 04, 2009
Goes back a long time to early posts on the "big" youtube Susan audition. There were many from Susan's village and surrounding parts who were commenting that the interest in Susan had become so intense her brother (or nephew? I don't recall which) was creating Susan's own page. He finally got it up and many were commenting on it. Of course, Susan doesn't have a computer, let alone know how to use one. I have no reason to think it is not her site; although I don't know whether she actually checks it. Top left shows when she (or he) signed in last. I just went there and it shows last sign in an hour ago. Unless Susan has a puter at the clinic, it's the brother.

She had a lovely message up when it first started. She has changed it since to thank those overseeing the site.

One of those other websites supposedly for Susan is bogus. They're saying she comments on it - Susan doesn't even have a computer and does not know how to use one.

While I was baking I may have missed a few things. Have we put together a goon squad to smack this Sir John Parkinson? He said:

The veteran talk show host said the situation would have been extremely tough for anyone, let alone someone with the Scottish spinster's "obvious personal problems".

What personal problems? Oh, let me guess the world loves her and has never heard of this sir twit? Egads, can't believe these losers!

@inspiredbysusan; Do you mean posts like this:

http://www.theinsider.com/news/2246959_Susan_Boyle_at_the_White_House

Or one like this posted yesterday suggesting Susan is not yet up to making a trip to the U.S.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/susan-boyle/5434811/Susan-Boyle-could-be-in-Priory-clinic-for-weeks-says-doctor.html

Or this that she "could" visit the Whitehouse:

http://www.nowmagazine.co.uk/celebrity-news/343800/susan-boyle-invited-to-sing-for-president-barack-obama/1/

For now I'll just have to trust what the Administrator of this site reports on Susan coming here to the States until it is formally acknowleged by the Whitehouse whether Obama will receive her or not.
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
OK, yall. Here's a thought re: Obama invitation to WH for Susan and her brother's acknowledgement.

Maaaaaaybe....Obama did issue the invitation and wants it kept quiet until there IS an acceptance of that invitation so they won't be known for being turned down TWICE in public.....and/or maaaaaybe, BGT wants to keep it quiet until the offers on the table for Susan are decided upon so nothing in her proposed schedule would interfere with her acceptance of the invitation....and maaaaaaybe...Gerry is guilty of premature articulation in publiCK....

Well the cat's out of the bag now about the WH invitation! I don't think Susan will turn it down if she's well enough to attend. She could always say that she might not sing, but would love to come anyway, and I'm sure that would be fine. I think Prez-O will see that she is not harassed. Whether you like him or not - and it doesn't matter one way or the other to me - he is a kind person and I believe he will keep our Susan safe.

Well my fellow Susan Boyle fans let's have a back-up plan in mind and on the table just in the event it's not true, which I still believe it is going to be and we will see. They just are being considerate I hope until Susan accepts such a gracious invitation personally and not by having her legion of fans do it for her.

But let's say it's not true, then let's give Susan another dream come true and bring her here ourselves. Yes us this fan-site (YES WE CAN) we can chip in as were doing now to improve this site and bring Susan here to America to sing (If she Wants) on July 4th at the national celebration of independence on the mall here in Washington DC. She can sing the song she chooses to sing (not others) with the Washington Symphony as her orchestra (No pre-recorded soundtrack for LADY SUSAN anymore) She if she wan ts can sing on the evening of the 4th of July to the American public who adore her (As does Simon) and we can let her perform in front of 10's of thousands of her supporters right ther on stage on the evening of the 4th. You all have that mental picture now so let's make it happen as a back-up if it's true that Barack BACKED OUT, which I still don't beleive is the case. Susan has the support of many influential people now that could help us make it happen. I hope you agree with this one. And also let's have TommyUSA be the man to introduce her as when I look at that picture of Tommy he is exactly what 90% of us males look like on the 4th of July so what better or who better to represent us and have her presented to us on the 4th of July if we have to resort to my proposed plan 2.

Tommy, many thanks for sending the DVD and letter on Susan's fans behalf. You seem to be a wonderful person, with many talents - I've said this to you before. You must be VERY busy at the moment. I'll figure out the donation situation....but can't donate as much as some...kinda makes you feel a bit 'cheap' when you have to compsare donations.....Isn't it supposed to be a personal thing? Some people love the site and love Susan but just cannot afford to donate. That's life. Thanks again Tommy. I'm glad there is a page to go to now to watch all of your tribuate videos because I don't know how to save stuff like that in a personal file yet...and would be all over the site looking for them to view them again. DAVID, as utterly divine a proposal as that is, I don't think our interests or actions in their behalf will trump whatever BGT has on their table for Susan, nor any decisions she may make regarding her plans.

If Susan really is who she has been portrayed to be then she needs a support system in place to protect her .She has been too giving of herself.Having people outside her door constantly. No one can live that way.She needs to be on a schedule, she needs the proper amount of rest and privacy . Being in the show has been very demanding for her. I think there is an untold story here. I think Simon was behind her being on Oprah,Larry King ect. I think he hyped up all the media about her to pull in the ratings. This is a person who is very talented musically but she has never held down a job, lived at home with her parents her whole life and has never had a drivers licence. This says something about her abilities. I say it not to take anything away from Susan. But she said she wants to take baby steps. Yes she wants to sing, make a cd. But is she ready for the riggors of a world tour? Is she equipped to cope with all the media attention ? Hopefully everyone will see past the dollar signs and think about Susan and what is good for her.

Susan’s Song

An angel sang the other day, Her music rose above the sky, Beyond the distant Milky Way, To realms unknown I saw it fly.

Then the angel’s voice was mute, Silenced by the cynics’ blow, Detouring Susan from her route To stardom on the show of shows.

Yet, soon she’ll fly to us again, Soaring to the highest height, Angelic song like summer rain, Her gift supreme and pure delight.

hey reindeer(opps) reinder1965. Here's that dyslexia thing coming through again. Let me tell you as an educator of learning disabled students, they can be disabled in many different areas, from learning to read, calculating math problems or learning to write written material. They can be disabled in one area only or several.I had a college friend who was learning disabled in math but learned to read music and can sing and play instruments with the best of them. Susan is very gifted. She can still be disable in one of those areas. Whoopie goldburg, tom cruize and albert einstin were all LD and look at their success. Please note to all out there dyslexic individulas have average and most often well above average intelligence. They like susan learned to compensate and adjust very well. If you really listen to her interviews you will note her great vocabulary. And yes they can learn to read music too. Just because your learning disabled doen't make you any less abled to perform at excellent levels, but you can also still struggle very much is the areas you are disabled. Susan is very gifted and should do very well with the right people around her to help guide her career as most of us would not know how to navigate around the CD producing community. If she gets this like Simon is saying he will help her to do then she will do well. She may need someone to work the financial part of it and the contractual part of this, lets just pray someone crooked doesn't take advantage as there are preditors out there, as the likes of maddoff. Lets all keep praying for her to get the right support and love in these endevors.Whoopie said some really nice things about Susan on the view. She would buy Susans CD. She said she saw how nice it was to see talented people like Susan out there. That was great to see. This was written in support to all who struggle with learning disabilities. Look at the strength Susan had to get out there and audition and stick to it until the 7 weeks were up. I don't think I could do as well as she did. Piers say as much and that she is persuing the CD which is great!!!!

@patriciasart 10-4 all your last post. Susan's family has MAJOR work cut out for them helping Susan properly manage her VERY soon to be professional singing career, absolutely NO doubt in my mind her family has done as much as they could to help her in that regard the moment she'd taken the stage for her first BGT performance seen on April 11th. I only can trust she's getting the best professional advise possible under the incredibly difficult conditions she's under physically AND mentally and that whomever are giving it are being as compassionate to her as possible. If I'd been her I'd already be in state of massive shock and would have to trust in my parents and siblings to do the best for me which I've HAD to in the distant past when I'd suffered very severe physical and emotional stress.

For those who have concerns which I consider legitimate regarding the assistance in funding this site. There needs to be transparency and I'll just make the suggestion that the administrator maybe place a running total that updates with the current amount donated and a link for those that donate to be able to see how the funds are spent and what will happen to surplus funds.

AZJanet - thanks so much. Look forward to learning more. Did I miss TXNoelle's posting? I'll have another look, but would aprreciate a repeat in case I can't find it. It's amazing what I am learning about the computer internet etc. just since joining the Susan Boyle fansite a few weeks ago. Thanks again.

I can undrestand that with a fan site population of 22,000 that these concerns should be addressed. I made my donation so I'm not against it. But as fans we just need to feel that even we at her #1 fan site are not trying to capitalize on Susan. Please don't interpret this the wrong way.

Susan needs a professional manager, ideally not a family member. She also needs an agent, and I have no idea whether she already has one, and a BIG MEAN bodyguard who will protect her at all times. We just don't know at this point who she has to help manage her career and her personal safety.

@Lonnirose; 10-4 your last post. I HAVE to believe all this has long been arranged for either through the family or Simon Cowell's people the second she'd aired on April 11th. I'd wouldn't broadcast all my business arrangements either, particularly those concerning her physical security, if I'd become just as suddenly famous which thank GOD I'll never be!

Susanitas ! That is a good one.

Skimming this site while packing up. By this time tomorrow, I will be back in Colorado, where it is 50 degrees cooler at my place than here in the Arizona desert. Yeah you rite!

Just a word to those writing about so called 'learning disabilities'. Agree. There are many kinds of intelligence. So Susan's modality of communication was not the kind her school wanted, but she is obviously intelligent. Case in point, when Simon was apologizing, and she, in an effort to save his face, said "I know nothing. I am from Barcelona." I actually read a rant somewhere that suggested that Susan was anti-Spain. Snerk. Guess they never watched Fawlty Towers to catch her allusion.

DannyMac ~ I was struck by lightning too. Crispy critters we are...still walking and talking.

Keep on dancin', y'all.

RetiredinKal: you might send that request directly to ADMIN Paul by clicking on his SusanBoyleFan hyperlink, at the TOP of this blog, and then sending a note by clicking on the blue letter icon on his profile. He doesn't read through all of these posts. There is no way to organize them and that's part of what will be upgraded with contributions.

@AZJanet; 10-4 your comments. No doubt the Administrator has already made plans on managing the money flowing in - you just don't put a link to PayPal without ANY kind of a business plan behind it - no doubt either the avalance of International popular interest in Susan-Boyle.com has modivated him et.al. running this website to consider how to properly account for the money, U.K. tax laws like those here in the U.S.A. are hopelessly Byzantine, do hope they've hired a good tax attorney!

Thank you AZJanet. I would hate for us to have fans who love Susan so much leave this warm and friendly method of showing their love and support. TXNoelle don't this wrong as your hearts always been in the right place and you have been a huge part of this site. But occasionally in your rush to answer us all little things might be interpreted different than you mean. Maybe some are just concerned with all the posts in the blog today that we are seeking which really we are just accepting the donations of those that can help this site even better serve our needs and requests. We really shouldn't acknowledge amounts of donations not that those that donate shouldn't feel good or unappreciated for their support. But it seems that a few have posted they can't afford to help as much as they want to. We need to respect that element of our fan base with respect so that they don't feel the need to post as to why they can't. That type of information is a sacred as whatever Susan is experiencing during her rest at Priory. I respect Susans privacy and we need to respect those of her fans that can or cannot help financially. Again I hope you and all her other fans don't take this statement wrong cause I love all of you and I love being here.....But most of all I love Susan as she is the one who brought me here.

David, I am in agreement with accounting of site donations. I don't know what Paul does for a living but managing this beast may be too much for one person maybe need to hire someone?

While I'm on it, we should design our own shirts and sell them, using those funds to keep the site running or pay for Lady Susan to visit American continent. I don't want to purchase t-shirts supporting Susan unless I know the funds are doing good.

Back to the drinks before the ice melts! SusanistOs covers both sexes accept when referring to soley female persons. Politically correct.

I left a letter to the editor at the West Lothian Courier and asked that they please keep Susan uppermost in their news. All some of these darn UK papers have is old stuff. They could at least talk about Pebbles' visits and run an ad wishing Susan well or something. Hey, maybe we could send something to them to keep running - a message from her many fans telling her we love her, etc. I bet it wouldn't cost much to do that, and maybe she will see it. Maybe somebody takes her the paper when they visit. It's a thought.

Bajaraquel I will take a half glass or merlot please!! Thank you.

I think donations are a great idea...I just think they should add a statement that the fans agreed to this. I know donation means donation...but say optional. WE want all the fans gathered here...HAPPY. ANYONE is welcome even if you can't donate! :)

@david Did you get any more input on having TOMMY be our REP at the White House for this fansite?? Just Curious..I didn't go back and read all the post. THANKS!

Posted by AZJanet on June 04, 2009
David: I don't sense anyone had felt put upon to report anything about donating or not. It CLEARLY has been made an OPTION, an invitation to participate for OUR behalf to improve snarl's and limits in curent system as is, not a requirement. Several times I, as well as others, have commented back to those saying they can't contribute $$ that love of Susan and participating in website blogs IS a donation. THis is an individual affair, not a groupie requirement, formally or informally. RetiredinKalifornia wanted to put that forward for their own sake, not bragging nor pressure, just SusaaN LOVE. I mentioned my small donation simply to indicate my stance that any amount even $5 or ? was great and that RetinKal's large donation wasn't "the bar" for others to match. Hope this is useful info.

@Aliz: Great insight. My point was that if Susan had not been bullied but had had more friends not bullying her, but supporting her, then she would have gotten more trust in herself. I experienced it myself when on one school I got bullied as a child. You say to yourself why bother doing my best at school? They won't appreciate it anyway, even the risk of more bullying if you are suddenly good at something. I know that when I did some good test I got bullied even more. That is why Susan started to become this special woman who no one wanted, never been kissed. Even being bullied by this Barrymore IDIOT. When people are told they are worthless or "simple Susan" and don't get the support every child needs they will stay "simple Susan". When I went to another school and the bullying was over my results became great and I was on my way to university when suddenly my father died in 1988 and I, like Susan had to take for my mother. Susan never probably heard from anyone until the Youtube that she was a very special gifted person, only "simple Susan". People responsible for the bullying in Blackburn even have apologized to Susan at her home. The bullying even went on when she was an adult as I read the papers on the net. And then the results of the final which were heavily influenced by the betting industry came and she collapsed. I cannot describe how utterly pee and poop on the tabloids and the betting industry and the tabloids trying to make her "simple Susan" again. What an unbelievable disgrace and ungratefull nation the UK really is.

David, thanks so much for you comments re supporting the fansite. Most fans on the site appear to hail from the USA. Please don't forget us in Canada and other countries around the world. I think it is amazing than so MANY Americans have fallen for Susan. Maybe it's because computers are in most homes and you can all follow what's going on the in the world. My family and friends back in England....don't seem to spend as much time on the computer. Having said that...neither did I until I ended up on Long Term Disability from teaching....a job I love but - driven away by the demands put upon us by the government.....I am angry but that is a whole other story. I now have time to spend on other things....one being - learning more about the computer and I have learned so many new things....because of Susan. Met (onsite) so many seeminly nice people.

Personally, as I have said a number of times in submissions to the site, I have recently experienced a stay in a Pschiatric Hospital....Many units, dealing with a variety of illnesses....There IS a wing for the STARS, but staff couldn't talk about it. Apparently there were no STARS there when I was a patient....except for the patients who became my friends. This is a well know hospital, which people attend from all over the US, Canada, and the world. This experience makes me feel comfortable, knowing that Susan must be in the very best of hands. She'll be fine....
Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
I just sent a blast to that damn Google ad calling Susan "an ugly freak" (see below, right). Those b*******. I told them to remove that phrase AT ONCE - that it was words such as this that contributed to her illness. Let's see if they do it - makes me madder than a hot-day copperhead!!! I can't believe how cruel people can be.

Went and biught groceries. Have read your posts since I left.

I thought it was brother John who mentioned Obama and the white house and Gerry who has been talking lately and he was the one who wanted Susan to leave BGT before the finals to make her own CD.

Since that one tabloid thing on John and the White House I have seen nothing on Susan comong to America for the 4th of July.

I would add that with all of this chatter we have newbies to the fan club and also real important stuff that is getting lost and not being responded to.

Here are two posts I made yesterday when we were first advised that funding needed to be arranged for a forum format:

#1 I'll help, too!

#2 On a forum there could be private messaging, which would aid in contacting forum mods to notify of trollism on board and also enable members to communicate privately or even take their differences out of view of everyone else online in the forum.

There could be topics categorized, making it easier to navigate to the discussion of choice or locate a post we're interested in, guidelines and tips for making it easier to navigate the forum, topics dealing with taking care of Susan's interests with the media badness, etc.

Just to name a few advantages.

Times and dates of posts would be available, membership alphabetized, making it easier to locate members. Posts from each member could be listed with hyperlinks in their profiles for easier access. An ability to EDIT our posts due to typos we wish to correct.
•***************** Intermittently thereafter, I made references to a few more of the advantages of having a forum format.

That's all I said, folks.

I just got back from the ET website and they say Michelle Obama told them that it was not true that Susan had been invited to the White House for the fourth of July. There you have it, from the horses mouth(so to speak). I saw nothing announcing invite from the US media, it was all the British papers stating that she was invited to sing.I thought as much. Susan will have many things on her plate once she is better, she doesn't need the Obamas.

TXNoelle, thank you for repeating what I missed yesterday. You seem to be a funloving person. Wow, I always wanted to go to a clambake since I saw one on tv here in Canada. I'm sure it WAS you that was talking about such things. Thanks again for re-posting what I missed yesterday....I must have been tending to my vegetable garden....a hobby I have picked up again since being on Long Term Disability from work (exhaustion and stress). that's why I can empathise with Susan, although I know it is now exactly the same at all ....I am sure Susan will want to get back to her work and career....now that it's just started....I'm basically at the end of mine...Look forward to following her career and keeping in touch with fans on this site. Anne-Marie, Ontario, Canada.

Is Paul a friend, admirer, or relative of Susan? I think that Simon will do well in managing Susan in her singing career, problably better than relatives as he has the expertise. Relatives can offer support. Don't understand why a brother would say such about July 4th if not true, unless as said above, waiting to hear how Susan feels.

I HEARD IT ON THE NEWS TODAY , ABOUT THE OBAMA INVITE
Posted by Lonnirose on June 04, 2009
I read one comment from a UK paper saying that Obama just invited Susan to make himself look good, or some such thing. I signed up to respond and could never find that article again - those UK papers are hard to navigate. There are so many rumors flying around that I don't know what to believe any more. I do wish we had a reliable spokesperson who would give us factual information on a daily basis. Somebody else suggested that, and I agree. These highs and lows in Susan's behalf are killers. We can discuss it forever, and still not know anything.

Susan is coming into the money folks. When she gets better she will have a new house and I bet some hired staff to protect her privacy. As far as Simon goes I would think he has learned a lesson now and if he is smart shoud provide Susan with staff to keep the press and unwanted people away to stop harrassing her if he is going to be the one representing her. After all, Hollywood has fences around their homes and bodyguards. Susan may too before this is over due to her popularity.
Posted by BethInTheUSA on June 04, 2009
Tacomafan: if Susan's brother lied about the Washington invitation, IMO then she (and Simon) should banish him pronto. He'll do nothing to help her and he can only hurt her. I can't figure out why Simon or her publicist isn't saying anything one way or another.

Hey Reinder1965, This is Aliz1960. I agree with you hole heartily. I hate bullying. That Is why when I taught Ld students they were very smart and just needed to learn things a different way. When they realized everone in the class learned differently and that they to were smart and could do well, the pressure leaves them so they can learn new things and not be so afraid. I was labled as retarded until I was 16 and because of good teachers who saw potential I now have a 4 year college and a masters degree. It was hard but for the grace of God and all those teacher went I!I know the other students didn't understand why I didn't know all that they did and there were some very cruel students who didn't understand nor did they try. But there were others who were my friends anyway. I assume this is the way for susan. I wish schools did more about eradicating bullies. They sure think they are superior dont' they. I understand your plight when you were growing up. Sorry to hear that happened to you. If you had been my student you would not have had that experience in my class. I would have squashed those young students right away and begun to show everone's strengths and that yes we tolerate and help build up those weaknesses together!

I am wondering about the Obama invite. The first one was on TV which I watched. It was not a formal invitation. This happened at the Washington's Corresponent Dinner where the press corps has every year and Wanda Sykes gave a comedy routune. Every President attends this function and gives a comedy routine also. This was NOT a formal invitation from the White House. Wanda Sykes gave a comedy routine at it also. Just fun for the President and the media.

If Obama does invite Susan to the White House I would think he would wait until she is better before he offers a formal invitation.

Bobber2, I would think Michelle would know if Barack had invited Susan to the White House. This isn't high level's of the administration.

Higher levels of administration is what is on the news right now on TV which is the new nominee for the Supreme Coyrt, the economy. and foreign relations.

Jane, TXNoelle,I think maybe Susan's brother John took the comedy routine at the Washinton Press Corp with Obama as an invitation as a real one when it wasn't. I watched the entire thing and Obama responded as a comedy routine and Wanda Sykes did a comedy routine after Obama. This event is meant to have fun and it is defintely NOT a formal event where Barack would offer a formal invitation. It seems to me Susan's brother John might have taken it serious when it wasn't. Fun only at that particular event. If Susan gets invited to the White House she will receive a formal invitation on White House stationary from the President of the United States. Not a comedy event. :)

Michelle Obama knows EVERYTHING that goes on at the White House, don't fool yourself. She pretty much tells old Barry what to do and he does it. It's no secret. It could be that Susan's brother is getting it mixed up from the prior invitation during the competition.

03 June 2009 LARRY KING - SUSAN BOYLE MAY BE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL SOON: British "overnight sensation" Susan Boyle is expected to leave a London hospital soon. "Susan seems to be coming back to her old ways," her brother Gerry said on CBS's The Morning Show Tuesday. "She's fine. She's anxious to come home, and she's sounding a bit more like herself." Appearing on CNN's Larry King Live , Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden indicated her belief that the producers of the program were picking up her hospital bills. "I would imagine that they are," Holden told King. "We're a very loyal show. We love Susan very much ... So she is getting the best support she could possibly be getting at this time." (British newspapers reported that show producer and judge Simon Cowell was picking up the tab for her treatment.) Holden said she had no direct knowledge of the cause of Boyle's sudden breakdown. "I think she was just quite upset by all the exaggerated stories and falsehoods that were written about her," she told King. Meanwhile, it was announced that Diversity, the dance group that beat Boyle for the top prize on Britain's Got Talent , has already been signed to appear in a new 3D movie titled Street Dance. The BBC reported that the movie, which is scheduled to begin filming in August, is the first British film to be shot in 3D.

Kali, you are so right. I love you man, what a great heart you have.

TommyUSA, didn't realize the DVD you did was right at the top of this blog, I just watched it, I cried and am still weeping. That is so beautiful, wow you are so talented. Thanks again. I too think when Susan goes to the US, you should be her escort.

If Michelle Obama said it isn't so you can take it to the bank it isn't so. But I do think one day Obama would invite Susan but because of politics I wouldn't think he would invite Susan until the Queen responds to inviting Susan first to hear her sing. There is protocal here that is involved also.

Concerning the Piers Morgan interview video posted on this site, Piers actually states that 'the show was as much to blame as the media' (concerning Susan's current condition). He got that piece of analysis correct. As a former tabloid newspaper editor and BGT judge, one would have thought his experience would have led to better media protection (for Susan) and protection of children on the show. You can really see that Piers is extremely nervous in this interview through his mannerisms. He knows he is guilty.

If you have a photo send it to my e-mail via my profile my son Adrian can resize it for you and then I can send the thumbnail back to you as an e-mail attachment. When you get the picture just save it, go to your profile and upload the picture like you would do for an e-mail attachment. It will pop into your profile and you will have a picture!

Inside Edition here in the USA reported tonight that Susan was sabotaged by the use of wrong phone numbers. Have you all heard? Apparently, when the numbers ran across the screen on the T.V., instead of "08", which was the correct last two numbers to vote for Susan, some videos on Youtube are showing that on some screens it read either "07" or "09". "09" was Diversity's number. So, apparently many who thought they were voting for Susan were actually voting for Diversity. This is what they just reported tonight on Inside Edition. So, the fact is that SHE REALLY DID WIN!!!

AMMO!!! AMMO!!! I found it!!! (after scrolling through that hell-A-ciously long list of blog comments from day before yesterday...

It wasn't you, AMMO. It was BJG and whatever I told him must have worked, because he got 'r done!! LOL!

Here it is:

eeeeeek, BJG, I'm not incredibly techi-fied, and I don't know what type of equipment you have PC-wise, but if you have a "my pictures" feature anywhere on it, go to the desired thumbnail and copy it (either the image or the URL and load it into your "my pictures" There should be a "browse" toolbar somewhere in that solution. After you get it (somehow), go to your profile and click on the "browse" button for your profile pix window, then go to your "my pictures" and find that pix and click at the bottom to "open." Your thumbnail's URL will be in your profile pix toolbar for uploading and I forgot what you click next but whatever you click right there should make the thumbnail of choice be displayed where your pix is supposed to be loaded. Did that work for you? Works for me. (bats eyes innocently) HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!

@Aliz, good work you do. Where did Susan learn to read notes, to play piano and to sing? In the privacy of her house. There she could be true self and not being watched by the bullying crowd like hahahaha you cannot even play piano kind of stuff. There she learned to sing without the bullying mob hahahaha you cannot even sing. I know what I am talking about. And that Oxygene peep peep peep and learning peep peep peep is just an excuse for the Blackburn community for behaving the way they did.

Aaaahhhhh!!!! If that is true, Susan should sue!!! This needs to be totally investigated by a neutral third party! We all knew there was something wrong, Diversity are good, but Susan was the best, she is the only one who rocked the world.

Sorry I've not been around as much; am getting a kick out of all the 'Susawords', lol. I'm the one who came up with the idea (yeah, ME!); we just need a forum in which to keep a 'dictionary' complete with proper definitions, etc.

I'd 'borrowed' the idea from an Adam Lambert fan site, that we could all be Susafans (individually), the Susanation (collectively) and can all 'apply' for individual 'Susanumbers' which would appear as signatures in our forum posts--when we get forums.

I like a bunch of the other 'names' folks have come up with--but can I find out what is 'wrong' with Susaphile? If it's reminding someone of something bad, I've tried thinking of what it might be and can't figure it out. ?

I didn't come up with all these others, just wrote them down when I saw them along with a bunch of my own, if anyone wants to collect them (non-alphabetic, as I'm really all pooped-out today):

Susadance = the famous Susan wiggle-and-shimmy Susanate = to immerse in Susan's music, for therapy Susanator = anyone who Susanates another Susanated = made completely happy by that immersion Susavert = recent convert to Susan's music Susanific = best kind of wonderful; the cream of the crop Susanifty = something which would make Susan (or us!)happy Susanified = gone 'over the top' with all things Susan Susaphobe = troll on any site having to do with Susan. Susascat = to run of in a hurry SusanBoylermaker = stiff drink using Irn Bru as the mixer Susaland = any individual 'country' within our Susanation Susaworld = collectively, every 'real' Susan B. fan site Boyled over = gobsmacked Boyled down = calmed down Boyled up = extremely riled-up Boylerama = any terribly dramatic event involving Susan, Susan's music, her fans, concerts, recordings, etc.

Oh, I can't locate where I've written them all down right now...not feeling at all well today, so tired and can't get a handle on it. I hope someone can collect them all, and we can get a real 'thing' going here. It's silly, but fun!

Gosh..I would like to buy a copy of the dvd too. Any way we could sell those to make money for the site and also t-shirts with fan club logo on them. Everyone of us would want those. I had been planning to order one of those on this site but I'll bet none of the profits go here. TXNoelle....how in the world are you ever going to get moved if you don't start packing!

My partner Sabine can read notes and play piano. She tried to explain it to me, but it's all Greek to me. Do I suffer from learning difficulties? Of course not. I am a Beta where she is an alpha. She is perfect in learning languages. I cannot comprehend Spanish or Italian for example, she does. The only foreign languages which I reasonably control are English and German. But we make a brilliant couple when it comes to mathematics and science! There is where I step in. :-)

Brilliant Jawhawk fan, totally agree.

On an other note, I have been thinking about this since the first Youtube video and don't understand, why do the judges put the contentants down before making a compliment, ie. Piers saying to Susan that everyone was alughing at her, Amanda saying that everyone was against her, etc. like they need to impose pain before making a compliment, what's with that, it's still cruel!

Oh geez--I need to write them again separately--so much for being 'out of it'!

Susafan = any individual Susan Boyle fan

Susanation = our group of Susafans

Susanumber = individual's identifying number--as important as user name, appearing in posting signature

Susadance = the famous Susan wiggle-and-shimmy

Susanate = to immerse in Susan's music, for therapy

Susanator = anyone who Susanates another

Susanated = made completely happy by that immersion

Susavert = recent convert to Susan's music

Susanific = best kind of wonderful; the cream of the crop

Susanifty = something which would make Susan or us happy

Susanified = gone 'over the top' with all things Susan

Susaphobe = troll on any site having to do with Susan

Susascat = to run of in a hurry

SusanBoylermaker = stiff drink using Irn Bru as the mixer

Susaland = any individual 'country' within our Susanation

Susaworld = collectively, every 'real' Susan B. fan site

Boyled over = gobsmacked

Boyled down = calmed down

Boyled out = needing to listen to someone else's music for just a LITTLE while

Boyled up = extremely riled-up

Boylerama = any terribly dramatic event involving Susan, Susan's music, her fans, concerts, recordings, etc.

(All definitions to be tweeked, refined, etc.)

Casey'smom: Thanks for the update on the numbers. I just knew something like that was going on. And I think that in much of Europe, it's difficult to impossible to give complements. It has something to do with old superstitions. I've been studying this for a few years, now. Have a daughter living in Germany... She agreed with my observation.

Hey reinder, I thought I recall Susan herself saying she took lessons from the age of 12 on. There most have been some good adults teaching her the voice and music lessons. But being labeled myself and spending a great deal of time by self because no one was going to get where I was coming from, I did learn a great deal about how mean and cruel people can be to one another.I hope Susan gets more support now, but we have not lived in that little town and nor do we know what happened. I also remember her saying her family was also musically inclined. Those musical gifts came to her naturally to, It also seems like her mother was very supportive of her daughter's talents and encouraged her to do things like this show to get her more involved in the comfort of the one thing Susan excelled in. The only thing we can do is be kind and pray for one another!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by johnnycake on June 04, 2009
That's a great start for the dictionary, Allikat, and thanx for including the cocktail. How about Boylogna (alternate spelling Boyloney)-the uninformed or ill informed ranting of a member of the press, or other self annointed expert on SuBo?
Posted by Scrooge on June 04, 2009
No way to have a recount on the numbers, since it would be impossible to know just who did and did not legitimately vote for Susan, and Diversity has already been announced as the winners. Too bad, because I'll bet Susan had a lot more votes than were originally tallied in her favour.

This whole thing with ET reporting that Michelle Obama's (PRESS SECRETARY) reports that Susan's invite is not true may in fact be true and they are just answering to a question. On the other hand Presidemnt Obama is The president of the people. Just like this fan site is a support group for Susan now 22,000 strong. President Obama seems tgo try to do the right thing for all of us. He lives in America House which is what the Whitehouse is and he never calls it his house. If we continue to reach out to him even if Susan isn't there which we all pray she is on the 4th. We need to keep writing the Whitehouse via e-mail as we have an ask that if not on the 4th then at some point when Susan is healthy and ready that she be invited to visit Americas house as she would be so lifted to be sure by such a honor as to sing for vthe President. Many stars do it all the time, they private concerts there all the time, many which we don't always know about. Maybe we just have to kindly ask through Mrs. Obamas press secretary that this wish of the people of America be realized. How many times because of the press are we the inhabitants of this planet going to let Susan down. We the People of the United States request the first family to invite Susan to sing for them at the Whitehouse when she is ready to visit America is all we have to request that Mrs. Obamas press secretary relay to her. Let's follow what now seems to be our dream and not let it die. It's a dose of medicine that will uplifty Susan beyond belief. She had a dream and even in the fury of those who attempted to bring her done she did not fall she rose to the occasion and gave it her all even while trembling in fear. We my fellow fan site friends can make a beautiful not a horrible rumor come true. Don't give up...Susan didn't

I really like the Susanista-Susanisto idea! EXTREME Susafans, maybe?

I guess a Susaholic is someone who has OD'd on Susan's music--lol--and needs to go to rehab for it?

There was Susanaut--need a good 'funny' definition though.

I can't FIND the posts now, to credit the originators of these! Sorry. :-(

Once we get a forum, it'll be very easy to run one of them JUST as a dictionary, and keep it constantly updated as new ideas come in.

If we get those forums, I'll be glad to 'keep' the dictionary, make sure it stays updated.

Michelle McCabe, 34, said she was "just devastated" when she heard reports that her neighbour had been taken to a clinic.

Miss McCabe said: "I feel she deserved a little bit more support.

"What has happened to her is so sad. I hope she makes a full recovery because she has an amazing career in front of her."

Miss McCabe said her neighbour must have been under a massive amount of pressure.

She said: "There are stars in America who have taken years and years to get that much press attention - it took Susan seven weeks.

"And it's a lot to deal with for an ordinary person from Blackburn." Speaking to the BBC, Boyle's brother Gerry said the singer was "fine" but feeling homesick.

"Susan just wants to come home and see her cat," he said.

ALLIKAT, I know darn good and well that I told someone somewhere on this thread or in a message this morning or this afternoon that YOU ALLIKAT are the one that put me on to Susaspeak. But I can't find where I posted it.

Anyway, we came up with a few new ones. The Susanod of course is the emphatic nod Susan gave with her head after she did her very first audition wiggle dance. Like you say, Alli, maybe we can start a Susaspeak thread and comprise a Susa-dictionary for it when the forum is up and running. :D

Hope this article isn't true :(

Troubled Susan Boyle has been banned by her therapists from seeing her cat Pebbles. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/83522/Sue-banned-from-seeing-her-pussy-/

The Britain’s Got Talent star is in a rehab clinic following her meltdown and pals wanted to cheer her up by reuniting her with her beloved pet.

But The Priory, where Susan, 48, was admitted on Sunday night, does not allow patients to have animals with them.

Last night a friend said: “This is terrible news. Susan is desperate to see Pebbles.”

Telly sensation Susan has been pining for Pebbles since she was taken to the north London clinic with exhaustion following her defeat in the ITV1 show’s final. She had to leave Pebbles back home in Blackburn, west Lothian, and as pressure on her to win grew she became more and more anxious without her kitty around her for comfort.

Yesterday it was revealed that she had “made a remarkable improvement” in the last couple of days.

Pals had planned to give her a boost by taking Pebbles to see her. One said: “She’s been asking about her cat every day.”

But The Priory said yesterday: “I am afraid we do not allow animals in here.”

When we get at least 250 words and definitions, guess we could think about sending the latest 'edition' to Susan. More words would be better, though.

Uhm--any calligraphers on this site? To perhaps hand-write a very fancy version and put it into a nice little binder, to send to Susan? I'd say 'later' is certainly better than 'soon'. Me, I can only type. Can hardly 'write' any longer and even my printing looks dreadful, now.

Trouble is, it'll always need updating...so maybe a fancily printed up email version would do? Just need a 'good' email address.

TX Noelle, afraid I gave up on trying to find the correct posts, may have missed seeing some, including 'that one'. I really do feel awful, for not able to keep up too well these past couple of days. Lol--WHO can find anything once it was posted 'somewhere' on 'some blog or another' just a few hours later, anyhow? Not meeee.
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
SCROOGE, that's just SO WRONG for the clinic not to allow pets! On the other hand, a thought...maybe it's their tactic used to encourage Susan to get well quick so she CAN go home and see Pebbles.

I don't even know why I'm wasting bandwidth here saying this, but since there is no Susanews to talk about...this crazy thought just popped into my head today. I'm SURE it's not true, but with Susan so out of the photographers' sphere these days, what if they are purposely keeping her in seclusion not because of any "exhaustion" but because she is having some subtle "nip and tuck" work, and will emerge looking "so refreshed!" Like I said, I know it's not true, but if it were....I'd be mad as heck at the PR machine for ruining her natural look!!!
Posted by Casey'smom on June 04, 2009
Scrooge, that just sucks! It is well known in the scientific world that animal therapy is among the most effective means of healing people with just about any health problem. Please Lord God get her out of there and home with Pebbles, he'll take care of her. Trust me I know, Casey nursed me backed to health from whatever many a time. There's no medicie like unconditional love.

Now when I read that post that Priory forbids Susan from seeing Pebbles it's making me steam. This girl is not a prisoner in a jail and though I agree she needs rest and privacy. She deserves that and it should continue, I say let Susan go home and her neighbors and the caretakers that I'm sure SyCo has in place will keep her from the vultures, photogs and any negative forces. She can be in the comfort of her home, SyCo can fly her therapists to her for out patient support and therapy for as long as required and she can by most of all with her beloved PEBBLES. If Susan wants to see her neighbors, family and friends.....she not someone else can decide to do so. If she needs any type of nursing care let SyCo who has her best interest at heart put a nurse for Priory with her as private duty. If Susan wants to stay at Priory and that's her decision than we support her....however it seems apparent she wants to go home and BGT and SyCo have the duty and the responsibility to her to get her there. If not Blackburn then maybe to a relative of her choices residence. But my God let the lady out from what now is appearing to be a prison where her and her families wishes and concerns come second.

I am sure some arrangment can be made for Susan to meet up with Pebbles. I've been in such a clinic....they WILL find a way to get Susan and Pebbles together. I know they have to be careful letting pets in, people with allergies etc. not to mention people who have phobias about cats....YES we are all different in this world... But there ARE ways to accommodate this. It is known that animals are theraputic. I have seen it with my own eyes. They WILL NOT take this opportunity away from Susan - to help her get well...even if they have to put Susan and Pebbles together off their grounds.....

Yes david...lol....you cat CAN read....

Oh My Gosh...there are so many people to talk to. Thank you TXNoelle....I thought I was going crazier than I am....Another fan e.mailed me with instructions...so I shoul have a pic. there tomorrow....Oo! not too sure I want one up there now, having seen others. Thanks anyway, and I think I added you to members I follow recently.

David, I don't live in the UK and know very little about Max Clifford other than he's supposed to be one of the best publicists in London. Was wishing that he'd been engaged during the last few weeks because Susan wouldn't have to have endured anything like the harassment at that hotel etc. He takes care of his client's press and people might've been a little more dubious of behaving the way they did when it was a free for all. It took an age for it to sink in with the BGT people that she needed protection - to really care for her wellfare.

Her publicity will be expertly managed now. It will cost a fortune, but will be well worth it.

We have a nursing home here that has two cats and a black lab. The patients just love them, sneak them food, hold those cats all the time. The dog knows which ones will sneak him food at mealtime and hangs around them. I keep dog biscuits in my car and in my purse for him. Animals are good therapy. As to Susan calling her cat, what's so unusual about that. If I'm away from home for more than a day, I call my dog. More instances of people being too judgmental of Susan, trying to create a sense of odd behavior where none exists.
Posted by 281165 on June 04, 2009
Sorry all to disappoint you, but I go ahead with this decision of the clinic if it is true, who can trust the papers anyway. A pet does not belong in a hospital. It might have bacteria on it which could infactuate the entire clinic. Susan needs to go home to her pet. It is also better for the cat not be away from her natural environment. Cats don't like that and don't treat them as humans. Pebbles needs to be in Scotland as Susan does. Sorry to be the party pooper her, but I know animals and I think I know Susan Boyle

How many more reports of dashed hopes will there be....First no 4th of July in Washington, now no PEEBLES for Susan. What more do they want to do to this sweet woman to dash any and all hopes that she may have. I certainly pray as other's have stated that Susan is not aware of any of this because if she is and they continue to ROCK HER WORLD with this type of turmoil, then they are more cruel to her than even the tabloids. Enough is enough set the dearling angel free back to her home in Scotland, she's shouldn't be as it appears a prisoner locked in the tower of a beautiful castle.

Hi TXNoelle, hope you read my comments about the clinic not letting pets in. I was in once, recently, as some of you know. For most of the time, dogs etc. were allowed to visit and we, who were away from our pets, just loved to fuss over the ones that were close enough to visit their owners....during my stay....the animals were not allowed through the security doors to our floor, but could visit with their owners.....off the floor or in the grounds. This was because of some patients having allergies etc. At the time I was there, no pet owner complained....anyone who wanted to visit with their 'fellow patient's' pets, did so off the floor. It CAN be sorted out and done so for the benefit of all concerned.

Noelle chere I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, I checked the world clock already, I'm an hour later than you, ie. New York time.

To those earlier that stated that readershp on this blog was dwindling, you have to be patient, a lot of work durign the day and live in different time zones. We are not losing interst in Susan au contraire we are gaining interest by the minute.

Scrooge, they are also very widely used at psychiatric institutions in the US very successfully, where Susan is presently. Not to say that in a demeaning way by any means but she has had an emotional breakdown (normal for someone exposed to excessive stress and anxiety), which is understandable after what she went through and that the best place to go for a brief period for rest and counselling. Scrooge, you are so sweet, why on earth do you call yourself Scrooge? Out of curiosity where do you live?

To Reinder1965 - you are NOT a party pooper. You have your own ideas on how this should be dealt with. I do hope you read my comments on how this situation was dealt with in a clinic I was in recently. I know animals too, and I do believe that Pebbles is missing Susan as much as Susan is missing Pebbles. There is an easy solution. Bring them together, even for a short time, now and again. For those of you who don't have pets, you may all think we are pretty peculiar. That's o.k. As I said before, it takes all types....Maybe some of your likes, dislikes and hobbies, would sound strange to us. As Chenando always says, at the end of his video clips....Peace and Love......Anne-Marie, Ontario, Canada.

AMMO, yep, I saw and read your comments on pets/hospital visits. I've been in the health care field since 1986 well...up until 3 yrs ago when I essentially retired. Here in the USA, I'm just accustomed to dealing with our laws which allow for a beloved pet to be classified as a "service animal" and essential comfort for their owner and allows the owner to take them absolutely everywhere. With a note from the doctor, one can have their pet anywhere they go.

Yet I DO understand the reservations the clinic would have and some fellow-patients could even have a phobia re: cats. I agree. It can be sorted out.

Susanistas/Susanistos, get this:

http://www.theinsider.com/news/2250307_Susan_Boyle_hits_the_big_time

Earlier today I received word that the amount of money was $30,000--wonder if they meant 30,000 pounds though. Not that Susan will 'accept' this...I hope it's not someone's idea of a bad joke.

Oh--don't have the URL for it cuz I deleted it--who else read that Simon has officially offered Susan an all-expense paid trip to his fancy spread in--was it Barbados or the Bahamas--if she'd like a place to go recuperate after she gets out of the Clinic? Before we know it--Susan will have used far more of Simon's money than she'd have received for 'winning' the cute little rigged-up BGT thingie. And I say, GOOD FOR SUSAN!

But, how come there seems to be some 'conspiracy' afloat to keep Susan away from Pebbles? Hmmm? Even if it is well-intentioned? Now we learn that this Priory place won't allow Pebbles inside. Guess there's no reason Susan can't visit with her kitty outside their precious building!

And do we all understand how stressing how it will be for Pebbles to be transported all the way from Scotland to London? I am sorry to tell you this, but, for the sake of Pebbles I am actually relieved she does not have to make this journey. Let Susan rest and then go to Pebbles instead of vise versa. Dogs are different. If Pebbles was a dog I would embrace a meeting between the "boss" and pet. What kind of stress do you want to put on Pebbles?

Hey Noelle, thanks so much for this. Yesterday I looked and looked for a place to upload an avatar but couldn't find it. I think the word 'picture'(though pretty obvious) didn't quite register with me. At anyrate I just looked again after reading your advice and it's clear now. If we do get a forum, a 'help' section would be bonza. Hey, I wonder if you know know that word?

BTW, I'm assuming crawfish = prawn and it's great to read that other people find the heads delish. Thought I was a bit weird. lol

Am re-quoting your excellent guide for anyone else similarly challenged by being on dial up and not really able to keep up with everything that's written on here. The refresh rate is something else:

“Here it is: BJG, I'm not incredibly techi-fied, and I don't know what type of equipment you have PC-wise, but if you have a "my pictures" feature anywhere on it, go to the desired thumbnail and copy it (either the image or the URL and load it into your "my pictures" There should be a "browse" toolbar somewhere in that solution. (bats eyes innocently) HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!”

In Chenando's words...Love and Peace to you all.

Even if they secretly take Susan Home via Simons private jet if need be just for a weekend it's got to help. I'm sure the wonderful people and neighbors of Scotland will holod off on their celebration of Susan's return there and assist in keeping away any press people even if the press is there since they know she is visiting. SyCo has people who can protect and insulate Susan from all and I'm sure her Village and her country want nothing more to give her the privacy and rest she needs right now. It's a blessing that Blackburn is small as they can now keep out the trash (media) that their probably sorry they ever let in. Bring her home for this weekend and she can return back to PRIORY Monday morning. I'm all for a complete news blackout of the event if it happens.....and on Monday morning USA time what could make us more happy for Lady Susan than to hear that's just what she did?

As a happy cat owner, I can say that, unlike dogs, cats are perfect pets in that while we may miss them while away, and worry and fret.. they don't generally give a sh... so long as they have food and their comfy surroundings.

Susan is needing her cat; her cat is happily enjoying all the care and attetion she is getting elsewhere. Cat mentality.

Let's not lose focus. Susan is our mission. Pebbles is a CAT, she is fine. Albeit maybe confused. Where's Mommie?

Best wishes from a happy cat owner; two in residence. One more in the wanting/wishing stage.

Posted by 281165 on June 04, 2009
Cats are environmentally directed. They could not care less if someone else stands up and give them food regularly or cuddle with them. Cats betray you in seconds when you become "the slave". Dogs are very different, they direct themselves to people and trying to make those people their "slaves". It is the owner's duty to not become a certain kind of slave. It is the owners's duty, in case of dogs, to be the master in the house. Cats don't seem to like that idea.

@mdillow31: you make the same mistake like many petowners, threating a pet like a human being. A Cat has different needs than a human being. Pebbles need is to stay in Scotland and wait for Susan coming back. Why put this cat in all stress to go all the way to London? Pebbles has no idea what is happening and will be totally in stress. Please people, don't think that Pebbles is just another human being. It would be far better if Elaine Page showed up as I see in some reports.

Did anyone catch this? It was posted on June 1 and updated on 2 on Access Hollywood. I must've missed it because I didn't see this article....

Gerry said Susan does have some worries, mostly over her blooming career, which saw her go from unknown to international Internet phenomenon – with over 100 million YouTube views of her first performance of “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables,” in just weeks.

“Would you believe her biggest worry after Saturday night is — where does her career go from here? Will she be still accepted?” Gerry said. “She didn’t win the competition. Will people still want to hear her sing? And will there be a career for her as we stand here today?”

While SuBo faced some criticism in the run up to Saturday’s final after she allegedly cursed in public and lashed out at two journalists and a policeman, she doesn’t believe the media exploited her, according to Gerry.

“No, she doesn’t think so, and nor do I. I think the media, yes, it’s marvelous to have all this attention, to have all these warm feelings coming from across the country, across America,” he said. “Let’s face it, Susan seven weeks ago was simply a little lady from Scotland .

I would tell them to F*** off Susan

Posted by Fran M. on June 04, 2009
I read that Elaine Page wants to tell Susan to stay away from anyone and anything connected with BGT. I don't think that is good advice, because Susan needs to stick with Simon right now. He is the god of the music business and she would be making a mistake to leave him. Also, regarding Susan's brother John and the White House invitation, the first thing I thought when I read it was that, if true, he should not have been the one to announce it to the public. That announcement should have come from the White House first. If it is not true, I hope he did not tell Susan that she was invited to perform for Obama, because that would be playing with her head and would be another major disappointment, something she does not need now. Where are people's brains??
Posted by Casey'smom on June 04, 2009
I understand Susan totally, when I'm not feeling well, the only "person" I want to be with is Casey. To deny her that is denying her recovery.

I am so upset that Pebbles was suppposed to go and then not. Again smoke and mirrors for Susan, like she needs that now.

This makes me sick, surely someone over there who knows about the power of animal therapy can step in?

For bajaraquel, Scrooge, johnnycake, and everyone else contributing at this time to the Susawords list...THANKS for the great new terminology! I'm trying to write them down as I find them, hope someone else is, also, in case I miss a few.

I wondered about 'Boyle-foil' though--could we have it mean 'intentional disinformation regarding Susan' perhaps? Like DannnyMac, I am very wary of her family, they didn't protect her from bullies when she was young, and even now until they realized that she had $$$$$ power weren't there for her. Now that she has $$$$ power they are there, kind of, for her. Why wasn't anyone with her when she had her breakdown r actually even before she got that stressed out? Hotel staff called the police and paramedics!

Did you guys see this? Apparently, Susan has left The Priory and is resting somewhere quiet.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1190995/Susan-Boyle-checks-Priory.html

@MJ and DocRobbie, yes, that was the Piers Morgan video I saw too for him hugging Susan. I'm just a bit late replying... :)

Good one's Scrooge, I added them to the list.

@ JRH ... i would like to believe her brothers aren't sponging off of her. Gerry sounds like a protective brother. i know family can be the worst when it comes to doing business with you or handling the family's money but since Susan holds her family dear to her heart, I think she's got a better sense of how they are in a positive way. Lets hope for Susan.

Very Nice Article: "Boyle needs time to handle the pressure. Her stay in the Priory clinic is probably exactly what the singer needs to rebuild her strength" http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/magnus_linklater/article6418494.ece?openComment=true

Cruis'n with Susan

@ casey'mom totally in agreement with your comment..if Susan is so vulnerable -- why wern't some of them there with her!!
Posted by MJ from USA on June 04, 2009
@ Penny ... true that. lol. i was just surprised he knows Susan Boyle. Our gal is so famous, after this long needed rest i dont know if she can walk the street without getting recognised. she'd need 24 hour bodyguards like The President of US and the Olson Twins (Mary Kate and Ashley)
Posted by JRH2063 on June 04, 2009
@MJ I understand where you are coming from, but I have never seen a photo where Susan was with her 2 brothers in the past 8 weeks (or for that matter in photos released of her previous history). That says alot to me.

Allikat, copied your list and am adding them.

Thanks Penny08 here is the poop: Susan Boyle checks out of the Priory By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 3:21 AM on 05th June 2009 Susan Boyle has left the Priory and plans to resume her singing career, it was revealed last night. Insiders say the 48-year-old Britain's Got Talent singer has recovered from her meltdown after she came second in Saturday's final and has departed the private clinic. The Scottish spinster checked into the hospital on Sunday night after concerns over her mental state. Family members claimed Miss Boyle, who has learning difficulties, had been racked with worry about her career and a feeling that she had let people down. yet despite claims she could stay for weeks, it has emerged that she checked out on Wednesday. It is understood that she has spoken to show boss Simon Cowell about recording her debut album but he has told her to rest.

@Penny08: THANKS for the post! If so Susan should be on her way home; HATE the words "meltdown" and "Scottish spinster," and worst of all "...who has learning difficulties," if she's got "learning disabilities" then I'm bloody damn retarded!
Posted by MJ from USA on June 04, 2009
WOW so Susan has left the building ..... maybe she is getting some raise on Simon's private villa in Barbados like someone said. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Posted by Scrooge on June 04, 2009
Oops! missed This last bit of the article. TV source said: 'She is feeling a lot better and she is now somewhere quiet getting some much needed rest. She is excited about her plans.'

A spokesman for the show said they were unable to comment on Miss Boyle's whereabouts, but insiders confirmed that she is being looked after by family and friends.

BIBI36, A crawfish is a land crustacean which resembles a shrimp or tiny lobster. They live everywhere in the South and you can always tell when there's heavy rain expected, because crawfish will roll up balls of mud and build a towering fortress around the entrances to their below-ground dwellings from the mud. Crawfish are also referred to as Crawdads and the Cajuns' favorite "Mudbugs." They're cooked and eaten just like shrimp or langostinos. (sp?)

Thanks Scrooge, thrilled with the update. Hope she's heading home.

By the way Scrooge, you never answered my qustion.

MJfromUSA,

I think since Susan is from Blackburn she doesn't realize how mean the media can be. I saw a picture of Susan pointing her finger at press before the finals. She definitely was not threating. The media blew it clear out of proportion and some people turned against her and wouldn't vote for her. The American and British media loves to put people up on a pedestal and then tear them down and destroy them. I have no faith in the media. Most want ratings and money and they don't even check to see is stories are true and want to hurry and be the first one to get credit for the story true or untrue. Some are horrible. I don't necessarily trust Gerry.

Welcome guys. I'm surprised too MJ. I think it's hilarious that the reporters are camping outside the Priory and that she still managed to get ou without them seeing her lol.

I'm glad Simon told her to rest. I'd rather her charging her batteries for a few weeks than being on tour with BGT.

Is the Daily Mirror a valid source though?
Posted by Retired In Flat Broke Kalifornia on June 04, 2009
...and the IDIOT who'd put up the "worried" picture of her on http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1190995/Susan-Boyle-checks-Priory.html makes her look like she's getting a visit by "The Tax Man" any second now! Beatles fans take note: "Thats one for you 19 for me"
Posted by Allikat on June 04, 2009
Think we may all have been 'Boyle-foiled'; I can't find who mentioned it earlier, but Susan is likely not even at the Priory now. Why? Well--I got this news article yesterday, complete with pictures taken in Blackburn, showing banners being put up again...so I thought, 'maybe they have some inside Susanews, and everything else is just Boyloney'? Or is even the Priory and Simon's place in Barbados just more Suspiracies? To throw everyone including us off-guard? ***becoming a bit Susaspicious, here...***
Posted by MJ from USA on June 04, 2009
I read today that Susan was already listing the songs she wants on her album and was already practicing the songs in her room ..... little did i know she was on her way to checking out. I think it was on the Daily Mail. the article was very upbeat for our Dear Susan. I'm so excited!!!!
Posted by TXNoelle on June 04, 2009
JOHNNYCAKE, I've noticed BJG's avatar. It seems to be even sharper in definition than it was yesterday, doesn't it?

I THINK NOT BRINGING PEBBLES TO THE CLINIC IS BEST, AS SHE MIGHT ESCAPE, & BE LOST FOREVER. ALSO,ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE ALLERGIC TO CATS. ANYWAY, I DON'T THINK SUSAN WILL BE AT THE CLINIC THAT MUCH LONGER, ( I HOPE).
Posted by Wild Ol' Dan on June 04, 2009
Howdy Pards,

Thanks Penny...I don't trust the Daily Mail Reporter but if this is true it is great news indeed. I also agree with Retired in Kalifornia on all those points... rude, insulting, and downright lies. Somebody oughta slap'em upside the head! Susan was simply tired, she got some rest, and now she is ready to get her career back on track...let's hope for some additional reports from other more reliable sources...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

Casey'smom: The scrooge question? Answered that a bit ago. Scrooge McDuck is my favorite cartoon character, Ebenezer Scrooge is a Scottish character, I have totally quacked up over Susan and I hope that one day she will be able to roll around in a giant money bin of her earnings from her recordings. Was there another question?
Posted by Lovin' Every Minute! on June 04, 2009
Penny08 - Excellent news!

Scrooge - re: your comment to Reinder - no, dogs roll in other things!!! LOL!!!

Retired - These Are A Few Of My Least-Favorite Things too!!! And I know for a fact I ain't the sharpest tack in the box!

@ JRH2063

Posted by JRH2063 on June 04, 2009 From press - "A source says Demi and her husband Ashton Kutcher have offered Boyle nearly $50,000 to perform at their anniversary party in Hollywood this September!Demi and Ashton think Susan is absolutely brilliant, in a fantastically unique and kitsch way."

I would tell them to F*** off Susan
 •--------

Demi has such an inflated opinion of herself. First, the offer to fly over to the UK (at Simon’s expense) to hold Susan’s hand at the finals, like Glinda. Then the no-show.

Have coined a new phrase to commemorate that act of ‘generosity’:
 • As sure as Moore *

Now, the need for a bit of “kitch” at her anniversary bash. Enough of the celluloid, tinsel sentiments already! Isn’t “kutch” kitch enough?

Again, I have NEVER used Pay Pal. I don't want to use it. I use my credit cards which is Master Card and Visa.

My question is: Is this website SECURE to use Master Card and Visa.. not Pay Pal.

i really dont know if Daily Mail is reliable. But i'm hoping Susan is out and excited about the lists of songs she supposedly thinking for her album.

@songbird .... you made a good point. hmmmmmmmmmmm

I am so glad that we are hearing such great news about Susan! It has been hard trying to keep my spirits up thinking of her as so sad and downhearted. She 's popped up like a rubber ducky! I think that is extremely lucky! But of course she did! The girl is plucky!
Posted by Casey'smom on June 04, 2009
Scrooge, Missed your response, sorry, can't understand how I could have missed it as I have been on the site since I came home from work. I remember Scrooge McDuck, actually he was mean and delightful at the same time.

Totally agree, I hope that everybody who bullied her and laughed at her wll be squirming in their seats. She will be a millionaire no doubt and they are and have nothing.

Yes there was an other question, where are you from?
Posted by ndcoop on June 04, 2009
they twist, turn, bash and slam, but I believe this may be accurate.

Picked this up today:

Senator Danny Boyle, an Irish cousin to Susan, stated that BGT is out for ratings and money, and doesn't take care of Susan and other contestants. He blasted the show.

WoooooHoooo Suz is freeeee
Posted by Retired In Flat Broke Kalifornia on June 04, 2009
@JRH2063; WHAT? Just a measily 50-grand for Susan to sing at THEIR anniversary party? Well, I won't begrudge Susan doing that or anything else; Demi as we all know was an early Susan supporter. Now we've got to be on gard for those other semi-inactive A and B-Listers coming out to hitch a ride on HER star; think SUPER NOVAE, can't hitch on anything that bright else you'll be blinded!

@Scrooge: That is an instinctive action if a dog does that. It gives the dog a "perfume" so that other predators like cats are mislead. Yes dogs can roll themselves in pretty ugly smelling stuff. That is their nature. Just train them good and you don't have nasty smells in your house.

C'mon Scrooge, We're all friends here. I'm just curious the American response has been tremendous.

Agree with you Kali, they hung on to her when she was favored to win and now not a peep, shows how shallow they are.

I hope we can believe she left the Priory. I am always checking on Google for news and nothing has come up there. I'd like to read it from at least one other source before I will believe it. Yes, I am a skeptical character. I want to believe it, but I need to see more proof. There has been too much on-again, off-again reports lately about
